I've been taking egg yolk lecithin for a couple of months and it seems to work. I haven't had any bad side effects except for a mild headache but I usually get those with a flare up. I take 1200 mg 2x/day. I cut back because I started to smell like eggs. But so far I'm having great results. If you're allergic to eggs, soy lecithin is the most common, economical for of lecithin. I've tried both. They seem to have the same effect. I have also tried sunflower lecithin but it was the liquid kind. It's pretty gross and thick but I didn't like it so I stuck with egg yolk capsules.
