I agree with your assessment. Bought four different clays during BF 2019 and I wasn't a fan of any. I couldn't understand the hype or the price tag so I never bothered repurchasing. I prefer the Soultanicals clays over these, and the price point is better.
I like 2 clays, the original, and the red clay. I tried these awhile back (like years) and I think the first time I didn’t know how to use a clay mask on my hair. But the second time I just slabbed it on the finish the container and I liked that feeling better because my hair and scalp was really clean. The red clay made my hair soft. But yes, idc to purchase them and haven’t for a long time because of the price and sometimes the inconvenience of restocks. Thanks for your honest review though. It’s good to hear all sides of how a product is.
It sounds like these products worked better for you than they did for me. I’m not repurchasing them either. The price and the fact that they felt more moisturizing than cleansing.
Thank you for saving me so much money. Once I watched your stash video, I said let me hear what you gotta say about the ones that I wanna try, since you got it already. Chocolate kinks & curls now off of my BF wishlist. Thanks again for another great review.
I bought them before they upped the price. It was still expensive. But at least it was under 30 minus shipping. But I commend her, she was a single teen mom just out of an abusive relationship
I don't care for CCK products either. I've been saying they're overhyped since 2020. I have reviews on my channel and I even sold two clays recently on my channel because I didn't care for them. Sorry you had to spend your money on these.
That's exactly how I'm going to have to use them. I feel like I wasted my money. In fact I know I wasted my money. I don't mind shampooing my hair either.
I wanted to buy these clays for the longest time but recently unfollowed them on instagram and haven’t looked back. I couldn’t justify the price for something that I could make myself
I bought them on sale and I could kick myself because even when they're on sale they are still expensive. Definitely not worth the money. I don't care what anyone says.
I use those clay washes as a pre poo and then I shampoo. I have made up my mind that I am not going to buy any more because they are over priced! I have a cleansing clay scrub by T’weaked that cleanses much better and is a lot less expensive.
I'm going to use mine up as pre-poos too because they are definitely not cleansing. These are some of the most expensive clays on the market and they don't even work.
I agree, it was more of a pre poo type of thing on my hair. I had the green clay, and it was a good product but I think that they are over priced and if I’m being honest 😭 over hyped.
And in my opinion not because a hair product is natural means that it is useful. I stick to products that are properly formulated with ingredients that work and not those that just "sound good"
I completely agree with you. These clay washes only sound good but they aren’t formulated to do what they claim. Everyone talks about the moisture and the slip but they can’t say that their hair is actually detoxed.
Yes girl in my opinion they are overhyped. Other people in the comments are saying they’re using them as a prepoo too. Unfortunately I’m going to do the same.
I use her clay washes as a prepoo ( I always shampoo after) and sometimes after doing a ayuverdic treatment because it’s makes my hair soft and moisturize.
I tried the black clay one and that one felt cleansing but I agree they're overpriced. I haven't bought one since 😂. I don't like it when a cleanser feels too moisturizing either
Oh wow! You are one of the only negative reviews I've seen on their clays. I've been eyeballing the line but could never pull the trigger because of the price. There are lots of cheaper clay products on the market from brands that have frequent/great sales. Thank you for your honest review.
When I was testing the product out for this video I couldn’t figure out what all the hype was about because it’s not cleansing or detoxing. In my opinion it’s definitely not worth the hype or the price.
I got caught up in the product junkie hype too, come to find out I don't even like clay washes. I was lucky enough to pick up the clays on sale, but they aren't worth the sale price.
I definitely got caught up in the product junkie hype and found out that these clay washes are not worth the hype. They aren't even cleansing. I have never seen clay washes this expensive.
You have to be careful with telling these entrepreneurs that their products are over priced because there is this "I can charge whatever I want and you better support me" movement out there and I am genuinely concerned lol

Yea. Everyone is raving about these clays and they are nothing special. The price is ridiculous. Soultanicals is definitely better so is Sarenzo.

You are so welcome. I had high hopes for these products but they don’t do what they’re claiming. Definitely a waste of money.
I bought them before they upped the price. It was still expensive. But at least it was under 30 minus shipping. But I commend her, she was a single teen mom just out of an abusive relationship
Oh wow. I didn’t know anything about her personal life. I’m glad she made it out of that situation.
I don't care for CCK products either. I've been saying they're overhyped since 2020. I have reviews on my channel and I even sold two clays recently on my channel because I didn't care for them. Sorry you had to spend your money on these.
Yeah the products were hyped up so much I thought they would perform so much better than they did. Oh well. Product junkie problems I guess lol.
I use her clay washes as a prepoo because I love my hair to be clean😑I’m a natural that doesn’t mind using shampoo frequently
That's exactly how I'm going to have to use them. I feel like I wasted my money. In fact I know I wasted my money. I don't mind shampooing my hair either.
@@ConversationsWithAScorpio Sorry they didn’t work for you but happy u can use it up as a prepoo:(
@@ShantaCS yeah. You live and you learn.
@@ConversationsWithAScorpio Yes don’t we all and I understand you don’t want anything sitting on your shelf that you don’t love

Definitely over priced and overhyped. This was my first time using the products and I was disappointed. Not spending my money on them anytime soon.
@@ConversationsWithAScorpio gotta say I agree!

Hey girl, I did not care for it like that either I have two jars I have to use I am just going to use it up as a prepoo and call it a day👋🏾👋🏾😘💋💋

I will be using them up as a prepoo. I must admit they are softening to the hair.

I hate when cleansers feel too moisturizing. If I want a conditioner I can just buy one. I have a bunch of her clays and none will be repurchased.

Also I did not like either of the three I bought. I bought the original, rhassoul, and the pink kaolin. All were trash. The pink was the worse
Yeah these clay washes aren’t good. I’m just going to use them as prepoos.

I've never been interested in trying clays. Not sure why. Maybe because it seems extra. Edit... Whoa $30?!
Yea girl $30 American dollars honey. Not even worth it.

Lol that’s probably why they don’t send me free stuff. But oh well I guess the truth hurts.
