You know Noraly, your videos are better than any National Geographic on cable or a Netflix series. I find my days are lost when I go on these adventures with you, but in a good way :). What reaaly makes me happy is your respect for all the animals on the road and you slowing down to not cause a stampede which could harm them. Take care and be careful
Itchy Boots is simply the best and the coolest motor cycle travel and adventure blog on RUclips; and Noraly is one of the gracious, friendly, knowledgeable and adventurous rider on RUclips. I stayed at the exact some hostel in San Cristobal while cycling Chiapa/Guatemala/Belize recently & I also rode the same road to Oaxaca 25 yrs ago on motorcycle..... all solo like you Noraly. You are inspiring me to get get back out there!!
I spent about a month in Oaxaca years ago. I recognize those streets and markets like it was yesterday. The food is the best in Mexico and the museums and schools there have tons of events to enjoy with locals. Loved it!
I truly admire your approach to travel. We get to truly enjoy the life of the locals which is so much better than some tourist trap that only provides what they think American or Europeans want. You teach us so much! Thank you yet again Noraly!
Chapulines or not, either way you will have fond memories of this day and the entire escapade. No one can put a price on that, and no one will ever be able to take it away from you. I am truly thankful for all these journeys you bring us along on. We can't fully express how much we appreciate all that you do, but believe me we are thankful for all the hard work that we see, and just as much for all the hard work (did someone say editing videos...) that we don't see. You are an amazing piece of woman, Noraly! Never forget that. The +5% change in the number of teeth on the back sprocket should lead to a bit better acceleration for you and a bit lower top speed - and I think that trade will be beneficial to you and the style of riding you do. The slightly more aggressive tyre pattern should also be good if you intend to continue finding "roads" instead of roads.
Winding roads, great views and always a music that is just right for the atmosphere of your video. It's amazing what small motorcycle shops can provide. Especially the service and customer interaction is usually much better. Take care, stay warm, and may the wind always be at your back Noraly.
Noraly, it’s so cool how you create your adventures, and the rewards that come with it. It’s also very respectful of your open mindedness of trying new things; perhaps we could have the whole world have that same mindset. 😁

I get worried when I cannot find a daily Itchy video. Noraly, please continue to be safe and please come to Georgia in the USA and see our geological wonders. Many Blessings, Kurt
@@MrBeltaine 😁 Funny ,but I instantly understood what ingredient she was talking about and heard clearly that she said "mais " in the perfect Spanish and Dutch pronunciation . Hi Noraly. It really is true that, “ you meet the nicest people on a Honda” 😀. Glad you were able to find the parts needed. My first bike many years ago, Honda. Current ride ,another Honda.
Your sunshine smile when you find MC parts is intoxicating! Looked like a well run shop, with eager mechanics. Tires, pads, chain & sprocket ... like a new ride! Great that you found a place to stay so late in the day, and with time to explore the market. Grasshoppers? ... well, not everything can taste as good as iguana or dragon fruit! Cheers!
Well, that was fun. The giant tortilla made me hungry and I may make one later! The grasshoppers, not so much! I love when you incorporate the local food. Awesome video! Best!
With that rear sprocket not fitting exactly original make sure bolts are staying tight visually and you can also give it a kick in the morning before packing up . You will see and feel it's loose with a kick. After a few days if still tight it should stay tight.
As I read all these comments, most everyone says exactly what I'm thinking!! you are a gem Noraly! I so look forward to your videos. By the way,Mexico has a special place in my heart. Take ur time traveling thru it. Enjoying ur travels. Stay safe....
I am so happy for you Noraly that you found some tires and other parts that you've been looking for, for so long!!! It looks like besides your tenacity and some serendipity, you experienced a miracle in the middle of Mexico!!! Thanks for the video shots of the town and markets.
So glad you found the new shoes and all for Alaska. And pigged out to celebrate! Oaxaca must be really nice to go all the way back inland to visit. Thanks for showing us around. Que dios te acompañe,
Wow! The commitment you have to the maintenance of your bike is so obvious! Also, the trip to the market with a detailed explanation of the food, while the sad guitar music plays in the background, is really enticing. I look forward to each episode!
A girl after my own heart. Try it all!!! Some you'll like and others, not so much. Grasshoppers, not so much. Perhaps mealy worms? But try it all! And the motorcycle shop was such a find! So helpful. A success, no matter if not perfect!!
Your small moto shop reminded me of the days before all the chains and big companies. Always wonderful service and go the extra mile to make the customer happy. So glad you found the parts you needed. The city of Oaxaca looked like a nice place to rest, relax and reset Norlay. Stay safe and keep going north!
Actually for the riding you do I think the 42 tooth over the 38 was a good decision. As far as chains ,sprockets and tyres your old crf250 was identical. Thanks as always for another great video.
And the 42 will help off-set the tire height gearing change effect. She likely won't notice any difference on the highway but will in the dirt. Tall tire rides on top of the pavement while the tread sinks into softer ground. Kinda changes "gearing" effect?
First thing I did on my 250L was to replace the stock 14/40 with 13/42. Best decision that I ever made! I like the lower achievable speed for the real technical challenges, more acceleration is always a good thing, and still tops out near 80 mph.
Alaska looks amazing! Oaxaca is so beautiful and a very nice place to visit. I will take into consideration if I visit Mexico one day. Let me tell you that I really enjoy every chapter each day. You are awesome, you rock Noraly. Take care.
I understand the limitations of finding parts. Along with a more aggressive tire set-up....Your riding style would benefit with a larger rear sprocket. Better bottom end to put the power down in climbs, water crossings, more torque in the lower gears..etc.
It is like a bicycle gears. More teeth mean a lower gear ratio and also more torque. The first gear has the highest number of teeth on bicycles. I hope it will be good to keep going until she reaches the US.
I agree, a bigger sprocket would improve off-road use. It is a good thing they did not have the 38, think this bike has not enough torque for a 38 sprocket.
I would disagree with the sprocket change. I have 2500 miles on my Rally and the 1st gear is way granny, and 6th is overdrive. She would loose the benefit of top speed which on mine is around 80 MPH. She's coming to the states and if she rides on I5 in California or any other highway in the west you need some speed. I was on I5 in Oregon for an hour yesterday heading north coming back from forest roads heading north and needed the gearing that came with it.
@@dirtroaddan1462 Noraly avoids highways so she'll be fine! I can only see one problem: Tires are difficult to find at this time in the USA. Maybe because of the smaller size she'll be lucky!
Noraly you always skirt over what is so much of moto travelling. In your room in the morning. Packing the bags, moving to the bike, packing the bike, checking out. And then the reverse in the evening. You make it look so easy - just get on the bike. But it's not easy and very time consuming twice a day
Big "thumbs up" for the little bike shop and their great service, then as per usual, super local cuisine. Amazing what you learn from different cultures, in Mexico you eat grasshoppers, and in South Africa you eat Mopani worms..... Quite the connoisseur😂😂thanks for another great episode, see you on Friday👍💪🦗🐛😁💪🇿🇦🇿🇦
That's why we have to support the locals pop and moms stores...shops like these are everywhere in Mexico...and one thing I've learned as a foreigner in Mexico is that Mexico is like Asia...people hustle to make bread...people work hard here

Thrilled that you got the maintenance done on the bike that you wanted to get done and in such a ‘random’ place! Also just loved the trip to the food market. I really enjoy the coverage you give to these fantastic places and especially the food and drinks you try along the way….
Hey Noraly Wonders will cease to amaze me when it comes to the adventures of Itchy Boots. Not only did you get your sprocket, chain, brake pads, and the elusive rear tyre (not to mention the front tyre too), but you tried the local cuisine. You almost scored the trifecta on the food, but you baulked at the gates with the Grasshoppers 🦗. Not to worry Noraly. You've done very well in this episode. Another top video. Take care and we'll see you in the next episode. 👍
Those tires look nice, better than the last ones. Even here in the US the tire size is hard to match perfectly for the Rally. I just purchased my first set of aftermarket tires for mine, the Tusk Dsports, and I absolutely love them for street and dirt. Much nicer than stock, but still the rear is 10mm taller. If you went up in size with the rear sprocket, and you also installed a taller tire in the rear, than that would put you right back at stock gearing, good job! . This was such a cool video. Helpful, nice people everywhere and a pretty place I’d like to visit some day.
Thank you for the extra effort you put into the editing, Noraly! It really shows. Nice work! You're an excellent story teller of the countryside, the people, yourself and Alaska. I enjoy the episodes about bike maintenance as much as the rest of it. Great episode! Safe riding!

I pray God will bless her with a career as adventure travel blogger for National Geography or Netflix very soon.
Tiger both of those will control her content and the way it she presents it. It will not be the same she has been doing. National Geographic will politicalize it and Netflix will add Hollywood to. Enjoy it as is.
She probably makes more money than she needs now and still has her freedom!
They would ruin her style i would think!
When she hangs up her boots Nat. Geo. and Net-whatever will be ancient history , replaced by what hasn't been named yet.
you just love entrepreneurs that actually HELP customers. Viva Mexico
Hi Noraly I'm Hector, let me introduce myself, I'm a doctor from Sinaloa Mexico, I love your videos, big fan, and motorcycles, as you going north by the Pacific side and there is good chances that you pass through my state, I was wondering if you need help in Sinaloa or the capital Culiacán, I will be more than happy to help you in anything. Have a great trip on Mexico wish you the best!
Hey Noraly, so glad you found a Moto shop that had your tires, chain, and rear sprocket. The tour of Oaxaca was fun and it looked like you found a really good lunch. The countryside was beautiful as well as the quaint little town you passed through. Enjoy your stay and stay safe!

These last few episodes have been a real nostalgia trip for me.... I stayed at the exact some hostel in San Cristobal while cycling Chiapa/Guatemala/Belize recently & I also rode the same road to Oaxaca 25 yrs ago on motorcycle..... all solo like you Noraly. You are inspiring me to get get back out there!!
Do it...no more wait...the time is now!!
Wow!
I spent about a month in Oaxaca years ago. I recognize those streets and markets like it was yesterday. The food is the best in Mexico and the museums and schools there have tons of events to enjoy with locals. Loved it!
So glad to see Alaska sure footed again, can't wait to see her power through the various terrains ahead!
Take care, stay warm, and may the wind always be at your back Noraly.
..........she is superb !!!
Mike, It ain't cold where she's at right now!
Noraly, it’s so cool how you create your adventures, and the rewards that come with it. It’s also very respectful of your open mindedness of trying new things; perhaps we could have the whole world have that same mindset. 😁
Oaxaca WOW I had heard it was the one of the places to visit in Mexico and this proves it. Culinary capital it is said and I believe it. Thx Itchy.
The ride to the town with the motorcycle shop was very beautiful indeed! The people in the shop were so helpful and accommodating. The mechanics sure took good care of Alaska! She looks great with the new tires, chain and sprockets. The food court sure had super nice people and a wonderful variety of dishes. Thank you for sharing another day in your adventure! Ride safe Noraly!
.......she deserves it this girl and we adore her ..... how to resist her smile and this temperament, she is not afraid of anything ..... may all the gods protect her🤗🙏
The road between Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca City is one of my favorite in the world...sooooo twisty and low traffic!
Congratulations on having solved all of Alaska's needs. Pretty amazing. 😍 And thanks for including so much info about your food choices. I love to hear about the food options as you travel through different parts of the world. Be safe dear lady.
You're a very nice person. I stopped watching RUclips videos for a long time. I'll glad you're still making them. The turtle video was precious.
"Anyway...(stops video recording)...(spits out grasshopper)...(restarts video recording)...Anyway, I'm going to stop this video now" - funny. Oaxaca is beautiful - wow! Thanks for another great video Noraly!
I get worried when I cannot find a daily Itchy video. Funny moment for me was the description of tejate as I thought one of the ingredients was “Toasted mice”… so relieved when I looked up the drink and found the ingredient to actually be “toasted maize”. Noraly, please continue to be safe and please come to Georgia in the USA and see our geological wonders.
Many Blessings,
Kurt
I heard mice, too 🤣
😂 thanks for saving me from looking it up also. I heard mice as well!
I also looked it up.
@@MrBeltaine 😁 Funny ,but I instantly understood what ingredient she was talking about and heard clearly that she said "mais " in the perfect Spanish and Dutch pronunciation . Speaking Dutch is can often be an aid in learning Spanish . Looks as if Noraly made it north to Oaxaca on highway Mex 131 well before the hurricane season struck , the trees are still dry and bare . Perfect timing and great fun on paved roads . Keep it up .
@@sjoerdbakker6040 yes, I figured my South Georgia upbringing and language was the problem. In the states, most folks pronounce ‘maize’ as ‘Mayz’; like that thing people walk through and often get lost. I am so amazed by Noraly and her talents in speech and presentation. I promise I am not complaining or trolling.
The tlayuda looked so good!
Hi Noraly. It really is true that, “ you meet the nicest people on a Honda” 😀. Glad you were able to find the parts needed. My first bike many years ago, Honda. Current ride ,another Honda. Thank you for the very interesting food experience in Oaxaca. I also like to try all local delicacies, and like you found, not all are given a 👍. Cheers and stay safe . Dan. ✌️🇨🇦
It was great finally you've got the right tires for Alaska .... Big applause to the shop and good people job well done.... That place is so nice... Take care always God bless and have a very safe rides....
Anyone else love the intro, the song, the howling, the clicking of the words then the lovely good morning internet. thats the best!
So do I. On tarmac it is almost like riding myself.
A girl after my own heart. Try it all!!! Some you'll like and others, not so much. Grasshoppers, not so much. Perhaps mealy worms? But try it all! And the motorcycle shop was such a find! So helpful. A success, no matter if not perfect!!
21:12 I heard "toasted mice" the first time and had to double take XD
Hooray for the little shop having more parts than the big ones!
Take care.
There's nothing like the feeling of a set of new tyres! Avidly following every instalment of your epic adventure Noraly!
Wow Noraly. The tyre gods were with you on this episode , and that market and town was something else , what an amazing community
Fuel consumption mpg or Lt/100km will go up somewhat when cruising tar roads.
Itchy boots rocks🤟!!!! Her journey she goes on amazing and enjoyable! Thank you for sharing
The repair shop really sounds like a winner; glad to hear about the maintenance and parts replacement.
That's why we have to support the locals pop and moms stores...shops like these are everywhere in Mexico...and one thing I've learned as a foreigner in Mexico is that Mexico is like Asia...people hustle to make bread...people work hard here
I wonder if those mechanics and shop owner realize they are now the most famous in all of Mexico with an endorsement from the current most famous RTW motorcyclist?
19:46 and you got a nice little pitcher of Mole! My favorite Oaxacan condiment.

I love your sense of adventure. You seem to be fearless, always trying new food or drink or rough roads. Bravo!
The great adventure is only surpassed by your great attitude..thank you.
I smile when I see your new episode because...I know you are safe......
I liked everything in & about this video except the food.Glad you found new tires & parts for Alaska.
A beautiful and fun ride today! wish I were riding with you. Glad you trusted your intuition and stopped at that shop, I hope all the parts work well for Alaska and you. You just never know! Love your adventure and thanks for sharing, as always
I just love your dives in local culture,..food, drinks and "snacks" is always interesting to learn about. I use to find the same style motorbike shops in Thailand. One time I had a flat tire fixed in a shop for big rigs, not perfect but it kept me going... Big thanks Noraly for this awsome video!!!
You're experiences, your story and your travels are amazing. Your description and dialog of what your seeing and experienceing is intriguing. I really appreciate how you highlight the people you meet. Lastly...its wonderful at times you let the beautiful scenery speak for itself. Wonderful video, audio and fantastic editing. Be safe-Be well
You were blessed all around...MOTO fix and food fix. Happy Trails ahead Noraly. We luv ya
I love any shop that treats a motorcyclist with that little bit of extra that makes you smile!
So happy for you Noraly finding some many things you need at this little shop!!!!!
So happy that you dubbed the sounds of Alaska over the music!! Sooooo much nicer. Thanks Noraly. Happy Trails, Guy in Columbia Mississippi
Noraly, I love your channel and how honest you are! Lol You always make me laugh 😂 So happy that you found kind of what you needed in Mexico! Have a safe journey! 🏍💫
Didn’t realise the Bajaj auto rickshaw is so common all over South America! Mexico looks great.
Glad that it worked out. Most of the time things have a way of working themselves out. Those guys looked really helpful!
Hola Noraly buenas tardes ..

One thing for sure, with Itchy Boots one is assured variety, from new motorcycle tires to roasted grasshoppers, it is NEVER boring. Thanks for all that you do. I know that it is not easy, even though you make things look flawless.
I lived in Oaxaca for a few months, it's one of the most beautiful places I've seen in all the world. I hope to head down to Mexico on my motorcycle sometime. I usually just use buses but miss out on alot
Thrilled that you got the maintenance done on the bike that you wanted to get done and in such a ‘random’ place! Also just loved the trip to the food market. I really enjoy the coverage you give to these fantastic places and especially the food and drinks you try along the way….
Great and stunning Oaxaca, Mexico. and thank you once again for showing us this beautiful country. Have a safe ride. Take care

Great difference. Glad to see you at peace.. Happy riding....
Hey Noraly
Wonders will cease to amaze me when it comes to the adventures of Itchy Boots.
I am not religious , but some one or some thing is looking after you Noraly , Fantastic , The excitement and joy in your voice says it all . Some times those small shops will surprise you .. . Thumbs up on the turtle couple in your last episode , I did leave comment & suggested that some one start up a go fund me page for them . When you tried that grasshopper , my stomach turned over , but your face said it all .🤣🤣🤣😄😄. aussie bob
Just dropped in to say .... You are one fierce human. Not a fierce woman but a fierce human. There is so much to learn from you about dealing with life. You face adversity with aggression and a laugh. I'm certain that you change lives of your viewers. OH, I"m an old guy so I'm not just doing a "you go girl". While I'm at it, I'd love it if you would mention the prices of things. Anyway, you just be careful and keep going!
I'm very happy for you, and Alaska because even the parts are not "genuine" are working nicely as far as I see. And the tires are totally different and oriented to best off road. The people of the motorcycle shop are the best ones! Greetings from Guatemala ❤️
