Just so in love with a large field of white fragrant ginger lilies by my house in Mobile, Alabama. One blossom kept the whole house fragrant. Now in zone 7 I’ll bring the lily inside for cold weather and don’t expect blossoms 😢. Every location has its special plants🤗TY for your lovely videos!
Good morning Brie how are you? I enjoy you and your sweetness and what you share! Lilly's are always pretty! When you came to Missouri i did not get a chance to come and see you 😞 Thanks for all you do Brie! 😊
Fun backstory: A fellow Logan's employee gave me a few tubers back in the day when we worked together. The tubers mostly languished under a huge Bloodgood maple in the deep shade for about 20 years. I moved all I could find, which was about 6 healthy tubers, into the part sun 2 years ago and watered them. Now I have a lush grove of these fragrant ginger lilies! Maggie Bennett, thanks for the memories! Your ginger lilies are going strong.
For your Dr Moi, did you not keep up removing the non-variegated growth, or did you get a piece that was regular and were hoping for new variegated growth?

Oh that’s fabulous!
I've got a dark orange and I don't recall any fragrance either on it

Yeah it started variegated but rapidly went green and I wanted mass for screening so I just left it go.
