    Whatever! Just prepare for what you think you will need in case of pandemic or pandemonium. Don't forget, Joseph in the Bible stored food for ĥis family when famine hit Egypt.❤🎉

    • @quentinmichel7581
      @quentinmichel7581 3 месяца назад +5

      Actually, technically he didn't. He was working for the Pharaoh who believed Joseph's dream of 7 years of bountiful harvests, then to be followed by 7yrs of terrible famine. Joseph was given charge as Egypt's "Prepper-in-Chief" and spent the first 7yrs filling Egypt's grain storage bins with excess harvest. When the famine started, the surrounding lands were unprepared. Joseph's "family" travelled to Egypt to beg for food and didn't recognize him. (He didnt look the same as he did when his brothers sold him into slavery) After some drama and shenanigans driven by Joseph to test them and see if they were still putzes. When that was determined, he senr for his father Jacob and let his brothers and Dad stay in Egypt where they could ride out the famine. ...
      So, technically Joseph in no way specifically saved food for his birth family. ,😁

    Hello, this is a very good video. I just have this to say about instant coffee. I don’t know if you know this, but it doesn’t take very long for one or two people to go through a jar of instant coffee point being I would rather have some kind of pet pill in its place for staying alert also research Chaga it makes a very good tea and it’s found in the outdoors on birch trees

    Ramen noodles do have a long shelf life but will not be good forever. They do contain some fat which goes rancid, making the food unpalatable. They might survive a year or even two beyond their recommended best by date but the more time beyond that, the more iffy it becomes. I know from experience. Regular pasta containing no fat, on the other hand, has a much better shelf life (stored properly.) One advantage of ramen is the very quick cooking time.

    Many canned foods last past the use by date. Canned fish isn't one of them.
    Stock freeze dried number ten cans.
    Stock canned foods, regular cans, not the ones with the pull ring. The seal isn't as good .
    White rice and Beans like kidney can be stored when properly treated for thirty years. This is a staple You literally cannot have enough of these , cheap and effective.
    Sugar, honey, maple syrup lasts forever, store in glass containers, not plastic.
    Meat can be freeze dried and canned meat will last but not indefinitely.
    Fat is probably the hardest to store, and without it you will die. Geey is a good option and canned lard, freeze dried butter etc .
    Spirits whiskey etc, anything over 40 percent lasts forever. Have heirloom seeds and hope for the best.

    Hmmm... exacty which country's government stockpiles these items? For its bunkers for continuity of government? And how does the creator of this video have this information? Show me references and proof of accuracy. I am doubtful that a modern, first world nation would stockpile honey instead of sugar. I doubt any government with a large budget would stockpile canned meat instead of freeze-dried meat. Doubtful about a first world country stockpiling peanut butter. Peanut butter does not have a very long shelf life compared to freeze-dried meat or dried legumes. Not believing a first world government would stockpile canned vegetables instead of dried vegetables

      It's not the general government workers like civil servants,but the people who are aware of possible collapse of systems,and are in charge of maintaining the systems e.g special military units, underwater and remote safe houses, senior government officers and business/rich people bunkers and doomsday shelters etc... if you remember well, government's in 1940s through to 1980s used to maintain very large food reserves for even up to five years supplies for their citizens Incase of an all out war prolonging that period.! Today we know nuclear wars can't prolonging more than one day! But their effect will prolong more than hundred years! Since the first one to three years are the most difficult to survive Incase of a collapse... This is why one prepares for such eventualities than assuming the don't care attitude when you have the means and financial ability to do it. Incase of collapse,all other investments one deems important amounts to nothing including money,cars,boats,big fancy houses, businesses etc. what will count will be the ability to feed and protect loved ones from all others who may be after scavenging on you... Cowards will even opt to commit suicide... The logical individuals will find means to survive... Greed and selfishness is what makes people to not emphasize on the importance of prepping to the general public... Ironically it exposes all people to a catastrophic risk of scarcity even Incase of minor supply disruptions which also sends prices of commodities skyrocketing unnecessarily,and that's where business people profit by ensuring we got nothing in stock for ourselves...

    The problems I see with ramen noodles is that they have almost zero nutritional value alone. Adding canned fish, veggies and lentils would solve nutritional value. The last problem I see is that the packaging will not keep rodents out. You'll need a rodent resistant container to store your ramen. Get sealable plastic containers like 5 gallon buckets for lentils oats aswell. Keep the rodents away from your stash. I would add canned fruits and jams aswell. 5 gallon buckets with red wheat could be useful. Get another 5 gallon bucket to seal gardening seeds to grow more food later. Who knows how long it will take to get back to normal or a new version of normal.
