There’s something about this guy that excites me. He’s physically strong and aggressive and he plays with passion which I love. It’s taken him a while to adapt to the premier league but he’s beginning to show some genuine quality. Really pleased for him grabbing his first goal at Villa Park especially in front of the Holte End. UTV

I was there last night and to be fair, Sheffield was just one giant wall of defence but Villa should have broken it down easily. Wasn’t impressed with the performance and can’t remember many shots into the box to create chances.
Still, a points better then nothing and just hope Liverpool v Arsenal ends in a draw to cancel it out.
We won't win the league mate sorry we ain't good enough top 4 would be unreal amazing at the start of the season I was happy with 9th expecting a drop off due to our squad being stretched with more games we are higher than that and have done very well. We really need to work on our consistency, played well against City and Arsenal then we played mediocre against a team which (on paper) we should have taken 3 points from. Obviously the absolute shambles of a ref played a part too.
I rather look at the positives... 16 matches unbeaten. Who could've dreamed of that a few years ago when when we were languishing in the championship?
