Goosebumps! I've started to support Villa back in the 2007/08 season as a 13 year old boy, after the thrilling 4-4 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Just loved the way the team played, the kit, the fans.. Soon after the game I started to play a FIFA career mode with Villa because I really wanted to play with the likes of Laursen, Barry and Agbonlahor. Searched about the club and realised how big and important Villa is to english football. Every game I looked at the results, and every game that was in television here in Brazil I watched. The feeling, the bond with the club was only growing that I couldnt just look at the results, had to find a way to watch games and found some streams down the web. 2009 upwards I started to watch every single game, asked for a Villa shirt in my birthday, every day had to look at Villa website to be aware whats happening... Its just a love that I can't express with words.
Agbonlahor was my first Villa hero, a boyhood Villa fan, coming from academy, being our record PL goalscorer, scoring against them... I know we expected more from him and he didnt had a good end of his career but he's still a player that I love. Then Grealish came through and represented us so well. Sad day when he left us soon after the kit launch and all those "my city, club" but his sale turned out to be a good thing for us.
I'll never forget his contribution to the club, our Dean Smith era with a Villa fan managing and captaining our club was special. That 10 win streak when Grealish came from injury and became captain was special! So many player, so many things that I could talk about Villa. But now it's Emery's era and what a manager he is, it's our most special moment since long long time. European football back, Champions League at Villa, the bond he has with the players and fans are amazing. Hope he stays here for a long time, and I can see, when the time comes, (not before 2035 lol) Emery leaving as a Villa legend like Klopp at Liverpool.
Let's back the boys, let's enjoy our ride. Really excting times ahead with all the ambition and backing from the owners, we got so many good people at our club, we are so fortunate for it. They saved us from administration and their 5 year plan became reality. I couldnt never dreamed about reaching Champions League, specially in 5 years after being in the Championship.
Love you, Aston Villa. You choose me, hope one day I can watch a game at Villa Park. That's my dream. Have some english friends because Villa, I learned a lot of english because Villa, so many good things because Villa.
Through the bad and the good times, Villa till I die!

That evening vs City was right to be highlighted, I remember walking out the stadium thinking top 4 was a genuine possibility this season, and we’ve done it! Completely dominated the world champions UTV

Was there during the third division days, was there at Highbury when Arsenal may have beat us but it didn't matter, Ipswich were beaten by Middlesborough - First Division champions. Was there at Rotterdam, having skived work. Held the trophy when photographed by Terry Weir. Birmingham is my city, I am a Sorrento babi, proud of it too. And now so proud of the team, Uni and the staff. What a season! Fabulous. Up the MIGHTY Villa and Villa 'til I die. Thanks for my life Villa

My Dad took me to my first game the season after we won the European Cup and I was immediately hooked on supporting Villa. Moving away from the area down to Devon as a child a few years later I took so much stick but I didn't care Villa is our club and its very special to us all. I've had a season ticket for nearly 30 years seen many highs and lows and now my daughter is now also a season ticket holder . She could have followed her mum with Manchester city but she chose Villa and I am one proud dad for it. UTV.
Can't wait for our Champions league adventure. Please god give us less injuries next season. Our best 11 is formidable, if we can add smartly in the summer good times will come under Unai Emery.

@@oligarland8191 that's the aim, I think we have the manager. We have the owners. We're just financially hamstrung by the new rules, which is typical Villa luck. But it is what it is.
