The clear plastic on the canopy is 100% "they didn't have to, but I love that they did". Thanks for showing that the wings can be flipped - I can buy two and have one undamaged, and one normal. Glad they're making improvements as they go, and I hope they keep this line going forever.
@@DiggitySliceLol I mean that I get a pristine one that has the upgrades from the wave 1 version in addition to one that now has even more damage. I like the idea of battle damaged versions, but otherwise I would never have bought more than one of them.
I’m a relatively new collector. I started about a month and a half ago and already got like 13 ships. But I got one regular tie and vaders tie fighter but as we all know he needs 2 to accompany him. I was so grateful for the battle damaged tie because I hate just buying “doubles” cuz that’s just me. I’m not buying to resell in the future. I’m buying to enjoy what I got
I got this one for 9.09 at my Target and started a whole nother addiction I was just hot wheels hunting now I got the Luke Skywalker X wing got him at Walgreens 11 bucks with rewards then I found Jango Fett Starship Slave 1 at another Target then I scooped up Darth Vader Advanced Tie Fighter and Obi Wans Jedi Starfighter lol 😂 but I love hunting em now
I wanted to quickly note that tonight I came across at Target (Southern CA), series 2 ships in stock (although NOT in great numbers). There is a sale/discount on Asajj's ship on their online store AND also in-store. When I discovered the Battle Damaged Tie (2 of them) and Yoda's Starship, I quickly price checked them AND THEY ARE ALSO on discount! Go get your MGS Series 2 ships at $9.09/each. I wanted to put that out there. I'm hitting more Targets tomorrow to get that awesome price!
The store I went to had a TIE for $20. The peg marked it as normally $15. I'm not sure how it got marked _up_ instead of _down_ but that's what happened.
I like how they’re bringing back the Battle Damage variants and the Battle Packs. Definitely worth picking up! Wahoo! Bring on the Series 2 coverage! BTW I think the picture on the back of the insert that holds in the figure is new for Series 2.

I bought 2 of them on clearance for $9.09 each @ Target. I thought they were series one, which is what I thought I was buying. I just got into this line after receiving a couple of ships for Christmas.
Bought my 1st on Amazon with blind box for $19.00 but then found in store soon after. Paid $3.89 but then unbelievably a week or so after only $0.50 cents for others found including the Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter. 4 ships at 0.50 each. Cheapest I ever paid.
Do you think ships and vehicles larger than the Millennium Falcon will ever be made? Corvettes and AT-AT Walkers would be larger. But still doable. I'm hoping for the Y-Wing, B-Wing, and a mass produced A-Wing. And the other TIE Fighters like the bomber and interceptor.
These base models are going for €20 here in Ireland. I found one of the rare white ties in our local Tesco supermarket. Found no chase vehicles when I visited Hamley's in London recently.
People are really desperate to get rid of their money, aren't they? It would be bad enough if they released a TIE 2.0 with these improvements, effectively meaning that anyone who bought the series 1 got shafted, but making it necessary to buy two of these just to get one good one really takes the cake. Anyone who bought the series 1 could wind up buying three TIE fighters total to get just one good one. The heavy washes on the first series I could see being a mistake that they could learn from, but things like missing or sloppy paint apps, mold corner cutting, and forcing customers to buy multiple should be obvious. I would not blame anyone for doing some return policy shenanigans. I was thinking of getting the trench run set, now I don't know if I should even bother because I'm not sure if that set comes with the improved version or not. Speaking of, will we be getting a TIE advanced 2.0? It has some of the same issues.
