For someone who claims to be relatively new to the modular environment, this is an incredibly precise and exciting performance. Jesus, I just lost myself in this...
I know it's minor detail but when the cheery major chord stabs come in at around 4:30 it makes me so happy. They're cheery and uneasy and off-kilter and amazing.
You're the rare example of a musician who creates Music with modular synths (however, I, possibly, just don't know about others)! That's why I watch every modular video by you.
Modular has definitely earned its reputation as an expensive way to not make music... but every once in a while someone comes along who bucks the trend. It's nice when that happens.
Awesome work! You always manage to transmit the improvisational in-the-moment vibe while at the same time having an incredibly polished sound and performance. I loved the cat part :)
One of the best modular performances I have yet seen...and I've watched a lot over the last few months! Brilliant, Jeremy! Thanks loads for the inspiration and motivation - I have an Akai MPC One to learn!
"Third tiiiiiiimes the chaaaaaaaaarm" Man I need me one of those TC Helicon Perform modules, they sound so good. This performance was insane, nicely done
😲 this was so dope. You really challenged my idea of what a modular set typically sounds like. Drum sounds, melodies, everything so on point. Amazing work per uje!!!
I prefer most electronic music when it has lyrics or samples of people saying whatever. Maybe if I took something to trip out, I would enjoy basic 4 on the floor for hours...until then, gimme variety and arrangements like this! Well done!
Why this sounds like something from the 1st. gen Xbox video game Project Gotham 2. Back in 2003. Oh. Minus the cat Lol But i do like the track at the 13 min mark. Very chil. Dig the synth pad melodie line.
This may be completely off-topic, but is that hutch/shelving system sitting on the desk homebuilt or did you get it somewhere? It's exactly the kind of setup I need.
Nice 1, really like the minimal vibe around 10 mins. How you processing the stereo bus? You using any hardware compressors/EQ/saturation etc? Or did you master it in a DAW? Or both?
Again I am in awe of the most vital piece of gear. The squishy, fluid dampened gray matter bobbing up and down in front of the rack.

i think i accidentally changed the plaits mode to chords. did you know plaits had a chord mode?

he has become:
modular man.
king of the modular.
I popped this on for some casual background while working but after a few seconds, it was work that got pushed to the background. Great performance!
Dude, right at the end I was like "Yea, you're right, our ears are unworthy of listening to any more of your godly masterful patch"
He do be bopping
This is the most *musical* modular performance I've ever seen. Incredibly well done!
not a second I didn't bob my head around during the whole 25 minutes, good stuff.
Even the bit with the cat?
@@MrNamaikisaru especially with cat
Intro... pause... clap kicks in... LIKE BUTTON HIT SO HARD.
Just absolutely impeccable vibes here, Jeremy. And range. I'm always impressed with your stuff, but this is on a whole different level.

Absolutely spectacular.
So rich and solid sound. Tons of stereo and wide panorama.. neeeaaaaaat! +_+
Getting some lovely Kruder & Dorfmeister vibes when the third time's a charm
Phenomenal set!! I really like the almost NIN sounding power chords int first two tracks. Thanks for creating and sharing!
Yes! I was definitely getting NIN vibes! Was just about to comment that. Great jam 👌

Has kinda that midnight, slow-jam vibe. I'm fine with twelve minutes!
@@iNuchalHead I'd be fine with a few hours of this kind of stuff, honestly.

this video on loop is helping me through my workday today, thank you
That vinyl scratch thing you’re doing with the Tetrapad is wild
modulate your delay times on effects with it! it's really fun!
I love those little breathes! This is so badass!
Thanks so much, a pleasure to to listen to and enjoy
Yesssssss A perfect Trip once again
Insaaaaaaane!!! Loooooved that!!!! Mannnnnn !!!

Also I've purchased a couple of modules and my first eurorack case is in the mail right now and I'm so goddamn excited to finally get into this
Very COOL!
Absolutely amazing!👍👍👍
You're truly a genius dude.
Every time I see a Eurorack and that explosion of wires I swear it gives me anxiety lol.. Fantastic mixes

Wow!
SOLID
Pretty sick stuff dude! And nice setup you got there
This is great.
That tangle of cables sounds so delicious that I want to put sauce on it and eat it with garlic bread and a nice chianti.
Slurp
Happy birthday.

This is excellent!
That drop had me biting my knuckle 😷

artistaa!!!!
Nice Work! Tacoma here!
That's where I grew up!
@@RedMeansRecording Funny, been following you for while. Never new. You produce amazing vids and have saved me countless hours. Keep it up brother!
Cheers!
You should do a video where you sync your Pocket Operators with the Eurorack system (because yes, that's something you can do)
That darn cat ; )

Check out HRTL artist. He is the biggest analog master in the game!
Btw very good music u r doing!
I just checked out HRTL. Great stuff! Amazing range on modular.

If it was your Birthday I hope you had a good one
Pretty brilliant. Thank you Jeremy! Tasty sounding oscillators too. What modules do you use as sound generatord in this one? (:
Check video description!

it was built for me by a friend!

Master and mixed in the daw. 4 stems: drums, effects, dry, and vocals
@@RedMeansRecording DAWmongus, mate.
:)
You are using the keystep pro as a midi controller without using its sequencing features ? you seem to be looping with hermod instead, may i ask why ?
Because that's how I do it
@@RedMeansRecording It seemed easier to edit sequences on the fly with the keystep that's why I asked. Have a nice day
What’s making the big bass wave sound in the first track? It’s sooo fat
Probably the piston honda with some drive in the zpo
Another amazing video man 🖖🏽
You need some cable routing my friend
I like the crazy mad scientist vibe 😂😂😂
U have no idea
Can I pls have your rack
