You are truly using 100% of the latest music technology to make absolute bangers. Honestly I'm in such awe in how you manage to make such complex and great sounding beats using a setup that would send a rover to Mars. These videos make me just wanna go on Ableton and make music. I love ur vids man!
Fuck off that was bad ass. Some techno legends I played with in warehouses say "put more music in the music".. what I just witnessed there was hella tchnical prowess with good composition. Excellent dude. That was fucking excellent.
There is something about this sequence of sounds that conjures a desire to stand up and thrust my hips and buttocks back, forth and around in a rhythmic manner that is synchronized with the beat.
First track almost has a Sparta by Ten Walls flavour to it. Reminds me of the early 2010s UK house scene, when things like Aus Music, Dusky and co. were exploding on the scene.
this is breathtaking mate. as a fellow deluge obsessee, I would be eternally grateful if you ever found the time to make a vid diving into the thought process behind how you feed the deluge into the octatrack and manipulate it there as this is something I'm considering attempting! again, amazing stuff. thanks for the energy, passion and prowess!
I've got a Moog tower instead of a modular, a Rytm instead of an Octatrak, and a big hole where the perfect sequencer/live looper/arranger/MIDI controller needs to go. I've been increasingly convinced the Deluge is what should fill that hole. This video confirms it. The fact that it adds more analog goodness to my existing analog goodness is so much bonus. Once again, thank you Jeremy!
This was an instant watch. I anticipated a great set and was not disappointed. Started off 🔥and got even better from there. Impressive watching you navigate the deluge as well, great set!
Really enjoyed watching the mix of live and planned-out on the whole setup. That was a great idea to improv / play a lot of the basses on the Deluge in live, and those kit rows full of little hits / loops / atmospheres that you unmuted in and out... F'ing groovy - lots of motion and emotion. Had me dancing the whole time, but I'm gonna have to download and study later.
Great to see you on the Deluge again. I love mine and have also just got the Roland Verselab MV-1, which, so far, also seems pretty awesome. It'd be great to see you create some magic on an MV-1.
@@tijmen1949 so far, the MV-1 is perhaps more intuitive from a song making perspective. However, the Deluge is much more capable as a controller, looper and sampler and the amount of pads on the grid mean playing across octaves is much easier. The Deluge excels as a performance tool. So far, I am loving the MV-1 and the presets are higher in quality and number compared to the Deluge. If you are looking for a standalone device to build, mix and master complete songs, the MV-1 is the better option. If you want a device that is the heart of your setup from a controller perspective and a performance tool then Deluge all the way. This is my first MV-1 song: ruclips.net/video/jEOVIhxLMJE/видео.html
This is awesome. With State Azure's recent Deluge performances, I really hope to see a bunch of new Deluge users out there! And maybe some insight for how to make use of the CV/Gate outs! :D
13:20 is that the Manis Iteritas? Good LORD that thing came in like a freight train, I might need to snag one of those bad bois at some point Also how were you achieving those delicious flangery-sounding effects shortly after that?
I really want that hand to be a high-five midi clap trigger.
You just made me realize adding a drum pad to this setup would rock
@@RedMeansRecording Your Nord Drum 3P?
@@AllaMortify that was a loaner. But yeah something like that.
I am so gonna do that with my old DD-55 I just got out of storage! Didn't even know it had midi outs...
Hell yeah,that would be great.
Please give us more Deluge tutorials.
Killer set!

I love the dynamic editing on the Deluge. Not just flipping tracks in and out, but making, editing and clears riffs on the fly.
I have been *sleeping* on the Deluge. What a phenomenal looking piece of gear for performing.
Nice. Got better towards the middle.
Holy shit. At 10:38, I literally let out an audible gasp of amazement. Bloody fantastic work Jeremy!
same here, instant caribou/daphni vibe the "i'ts a crime" remix)
Played this while drinking my morning coffee... DEFINITELY a great way to wake up to the day! Thanks💯👍🏾
Dope as hell

Hauntingly beautiful
My favorite Jeremy is Dancing Jeremy!
First track almost has a Sparta by Ten Walls flavour to it. Reminds me of the early 2010s UK house scene, when things like Aus Music, Dusky and co. were exploding on the scene.
The track around 14:00 had me spontaneously dancing. Wonderful! :D
Start to finish this is great 😊
the pads at 11min are great. serious Phil Western/Download vibes during that section, well done.
deluge really is the best hardware sequencer I know of for composition and performance with external gear. So rad.
Fantastic! I hope you consider teaching us to improvise like that with the deluge.

i actually have a full video on this filmed and edited and ready to go as soon as a performance i have scheduled for february comes out!
wowza - you make it look easy, Sensei - so good
Always nice to see Deluge controlling modular! Top jam!
Nice command of the Deluge. It's the tiny screen that gives me flashbacks of my old mc-303 that has kept from that battery powered lovely. Nice set.

This is great, and nice to see the Deluge on the top shelf.
Love ho CC pops up to say applause.
Man that was one of the best modular sets iv ever seen
Amazing, I was listening to this while at work, and forgot I wasn’t at home and started dancing in my office chair
I want to see a video of people at home jamming to the music we make
Was on another browser tab, while this was playing. Thinking this sounds really good. So i looked, ah red means recording, that explains it.

Vibin hard with this at the end of a long night
Always happy to see the Deluge in use. Another v good video thanks.
This set is fire.
Dang, this is great, love that build. The segment starting around 15:00 hit me good.
This setup sounds great and the way you are able to play the deluge sequencer is really fun to watch. Killer set
its not only your reviews and walk thrus, but your performances are simply amazing. hope to see you live one day!
that would be rad!
@@RedMeansRecording sure it will be!
These analogue sounds are warming my heart.
back here. Please do more deluge live sets!!!
Holy shit! I had to watch this entire vid twice!
This was an instant watch. I anticipated a great set and was not disappointed. Started off 🔥and got even better from there. Impressive watching you navigate the deluge as well, great set!
Such a jam! Really hoping I get to make jams this fun one day. Just started my modular hardware journey!
GREAT!!really like the vibe!best wishes from Bruxelles
The Deluge is rad! This whole performance sounds incredible.
Love those vocal samples.
This was simply amazing
Effortless mastery. Thank you for this set.

That was a fantastic 26 minutes of harmonic boogie sensations. Love watching you work the deluge! Such a work horse.

Wow, what a great set! 💚
Incredible set totally awesome.
amzing set Jeremy, please tell me that you have another video coming that dissects what you do on the modular side... 🥺
Sounds incredible! I see you also have a spare appendage there, but it never seems to lend a hand!
It’s for the obligatory low-five after gig.
I love that you are on team Octatrack now.
its awesome
absolutely mesmerizing as always~
soooo good maaan, like always
Oh my, this is fly! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thanks for your hard work and bringing it 🔥 🙌🏼
Made me excited to see live music again. I’m not too far from Seattle, hope I can see you perform like this on a big sound system soon.
Yeah, that kicks.
killer set man!

Do you prefer to use the mv-1 over the deluge? Id love to try the deluge but the import taxes are brutal

This was a 🔥 set and 🔥🔥🔥🔥 broadcast. Literally just finished watching it all.
This was really cool mate thanks for sharing.
Sick jam! This is fire 🔥🔥🔥
Really coooool and groovy 👌👌👌👌
Deluge is my shit bro. My fav piece of electronic hardware. I use mine for hip hop beats.
Pure talent
This was amazing and wonderful then at 20:23 it became perfect and resplendent. 🐺
awoo
yes yes yes
Beast mode on!! This was awesome dude!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Enjoyed it. Like it. # 427. Take care & seeU soon for more. ^^

oh totally. never will leave me as inspiration. in my dna.
I love it when the dog shows up! The end is amazing. The whole thing sounds great; even on my phone. What’s the iPad for?
Can u recommend a stereo reverb pedal?
Zoia, empress reverbs, or tc electronics reverbs.
Hey, anyone knows what Stand is used here to mount the deluge, Ipad and other gear? Seems really sturdy.
