When I came back to the game in 2021 I was surprised that this wasn't around anymore. This was one of my favorites in the game and it fit so well with these kinds of stages.
I played this game in 2015 and it was completely different (those mini games,ultimate battles,yetti levels etc.)
What happened to the pvz2 made me cry because it became only money-aimed game full of new strange plants for donation.And advertising after each level is unbearable
Unfortunately,those good childhood moments went to the past

That melody is just pure joy for me, I don’t know why it’s specifically Ancient Egypt’s DM that I like so much but it just makes me nostalgic

The same bro, really fills me with nostalgia. I remember when I was a kid and was playing early pvz2 with my father (before donate and other changes that are now exist). I miss that old level design and that music

Usually played in the endless levels of the game, also plays in the Save our Seeds and Mummy Memory levels.

It’s just base AE music for endless, I think memory levels were removed and I don’t remember it playing for save our seeds

This part is what makes this my favorite song.
Now, type in "Wild Arms Opening" and you will see the exact same notes are used there. I was quite confused when i heard that part cause it seemed so similar and I realised it's identical to the one in the beginning of the opening.
Edit: It's not 1:1 but you can hear it very well being *almost* the same.

Favorite part
I don’t remember much of the game other than when it first released because I stopped playing early on. The one thing that I do remember is that the map was like sort of like a board game and you could choose where you wanted to go with keys. Later I did come back a little while later and the map had changed again to a linear path instead. Though this track is just so memorable for me even after all these years

The overwhelming nostalgia I get from Mummy Memory. The only other pvz2 minigame that is more nostalgic than that is cannons away.
Really EA? You had to get rid of this and UB for space? You couldn't think of anything else? Like getting rid of the damn protect the plants and protect the flowers missions?

@@digodabrik201 Yep. Apparently users were complaining about memory issues and Popcap figured the best course of action was to remove these audio tracks. Its sad because they were a big part of it :(

Man all I wanted to do was come back to my childhood, and when I did EA had already sucked this game’s personality dry while I was gone. Music is one of the critical things to this game!!

Me descargue el juego hace poco,hace mucho lo tenía y no apareció esa canción creo que quitaron niveles o los modificaron porque hay muchos niveles que no están y aún los recuerdo
Lo que pasa es que quitaron esa canción en una actualización que ni me acuerdo
La quitaron porque los creadores decían que ocupaba demasiado espacio, son mentiras obviamente una canción no pesa más de 4mb
@@silviarosaliaquiroztelleri8069 fue en una actualizacion despues de que agregaran la segunda parte de tiempos modernos, pero aunque sea añadan una opcion que diga descargar canciones si tu celular tiene espacio de sobra
@@LuisLopez-fr4eb si pero tene en cuenta que esas canciones tenian variaciones con diferentes instrumentos entonces habian un montonal de variantes y el conjunto de todas ellas hacia que el juego pesara mas

There is a fix for the deleted music:
Step 1: Put this video (song) on loop.
Step 2: Minimize RUclips. Do not close it.
Step 3: It should now be running in a window. Open PVZ2 and turn your music volume off.
Step 4: Enjoy

i miss the minigame and ultimate battle tracks, they are the best tracks out of any game ive played. tho it is understandable why they removed them. much like valves team fortress 2, they had to remove unnecessary things to allow more content to be added and not bloat storage. in valves case, the higher quality graphics. in popcaps case, the dm and ub tracks.
