Excellent update! that is a very good up-grade and if that steam will do it, your other locos should make it.
    Thanks for sharing

Thanks! Yeah I was surprised at how well the steamer went up the grade. It's fun seeing the layout come together piece by piece. -- Tyler

Very nice layout. Just sub'd. Saw your channel during Track Tuesday. What type of steam engine is that? Does the tender have power too or just like any other railcar? Pulling all that, that's pretty good.-. Drew

Thank you. It's an M1b, and just the drive wheels have power. In fact 2 of the 4 drive wheels have no flange, so there's only the middle 2 drive wheels that make up the majority of the pulling power. It pulls a lot better than I expected. On my old layout it struggled a bit, but I had tighter curves too, so this new layout it might actually run pretty well on. -- Tyler

Hey Tyler. That is nice. I just ordered my first ever steam engine n scale. Hopefully it can at least pull 3 coaches and 1 baggage car in a curve incline. I have a feeling it wont. We shall see. Hope to get it soon. Happy railroading. - Drew

It surely is. I would think you can pull 3 coaches and a baggage car, although it depends on the grade of the incline of course. My grade is 2.08% through most of the curve, and 2.38% in total. I go up 1 inch in height every 48 inches in length, and up 1 inch in height every 42 inches length in some spots. You might be able to pull what you want. Hopefully you can! Happy railroading. -- Tyler
