I wish Sako still made them as fine. I always enjoy the rimfire videos!

Lucky buggers, no suffering from mixo, colese or fox mauling. Mate, when my days are done can I arrange for you to do the job. I'll just sit in the sun twitching my nose, then goodnight. Love the shot between the fence wires, so many times I can recall whiiing sound and a rabbit scuttling off. Great to watch, thanks.

Dunno how to answer that one LOL...Ive been guilty of cutting a fence or two, incredible how a bullet finds the wire.
      Glad you liked it

Fantastic rifle. Really stretching it with that 4x magnification.

Yup, its a really nice rifle to use and balances very well...those Bunnies did look small but the optics were crystal clear and a fine duplex made aiming easy.

Just picked up my new SAKO Finnfire in 22lr. I’m excited! What ammo brand and grain do you recommend for this rifle? Thanks

Nice mate, you will love it, a very classy rimfire and shoots even better than it looks.
I use Winchester power points 40gn in mine.
Yours might hate the power points , only way you can tell is by shooting different brands.
Also by testing the rifle, you will learn the feel of it , trigger pull etc.
They are nicely balanced and in my opinion, right up there with Anschutz ....I like sakos better LOL.

great shooting love your videos !!! Great to finally see you pull out the 22lr for the bunnies as i think anything much over that is massive overkill !!! But i get that sometimes with the rabbits they get a bit spooky so you need to stretch out the distance to target !!! But this looks to be a fair way out for the 22lr !! How far is it ???? If its much past 50m then that makes it even more impressive shooting !!!

Hi Sam and thanks, long time coming mate those Bunnies were shot between 91 to 100mts except the third one at around 60. Its all relevant, the further you get out the more powder you have to burn, for instance at 500yds the 22-250 55gn bullet has about the same energy as a .22WMR at the muzzle. There will be more rimfire vids coming up, good fun getting reacquainted with the humble .22lr and thanks for the compliments,
      cheers.

SA Feral Shooter yeah i used to run a 22/250 for goats foxes at long ranges !! It was my favorite of all the calibers ive had !! But you cant go paste the 22lr for the old bunny when you can get within range !!! I dont like to stretch things to the max so i generally keep within reasonable flatter shooting ranges !! So 22lr out to about 50 meters and the 22/250 out to around 350 !! But thats just me !!!

Hi Jayden, Winchester 40gn Power points.

Im assuming they work well in the sako? although i guess that gun would shoot most ammo pretty well
