Good seeing a Kiwi review on a bike that might be quite popular here

Do you feel reliable ? Because there are many issues with old Himalayan.

Honestly it’s hard to say. I didn’t hear of any footpegs snapping off like the original’s launch vid and the bike definitely felt like a better built machine.
On a launch you’re absolutely flogging the bikes beyond what a typical owner would do - like bouncing it off the limiter above 10,000ft before it’s break in period is complete. I noticed a few had the headlight bolts loosen (including mine) but I put that down to bouncing them off the limiter on those gnarly roads for more than four days. One bike did break down but no idea what the cause was.

@@OnThrottle thanks for your reply. 😊. I am little confused between Triumph scrambler 400 x and Himalayan for highway drives.

@SHUBHAMTHAKRE8 the Himalayan offers a much larger accessory windscreen than the Triumph from what I’ve seen which might edge Highway performance it’s way. Power wise they are basically the same. I’m looking forward to riding the Triumph when it gets to New Zealand early next year.
