You’re going through this phase of your life it will pass even if it doesn’t feel like it right now, my boys are in their 30s now but it seems 5 minutes since I was in your shoes. I actually miss it.
My fridge does similar I keep cotton buds in a drawer in my kitchen and every other week I clean that wee hole at the back of the fridge it seems to stop the problem. Have a lovely Christmas 🎉

Merry Christmas Eve! ☃️🎄☃️ Oh, my goodness! Why do we do these things to ourselves? My only trick is to use a hairdryer to loosen the iceberg, but you seemed to dislodge it easily. I hope your daughter is well for Christmas. Your refrigerator looked beautiful. Yummy sausage rolls. Serve a sauce with the vegetarian rolls and they'll be fine. I can't imagine anyone refusing them! Hope you can get some sleep. Take care, Linda 🦋

So sorry to hear that your house has illness. Children do seem to pass illness around quite often. 😢 I hope that everyone will be feeling better soon. Happy holidays!

Haha my husband joked that I'd be decluttering our air bnb but no I'll take a few days off as we are visiting family. I am writing my 30-day decluttering list for January though! Merry Christmas ☺️

From the US and our fridges are different as ours also have a freezer built in. My freezer is on the bottom with drawers, and I had one of those ice bridges. The tech found the door didn't seal properly and advised me to make sure the vents were not blocked in freezer and fridge. No problems now that I make sure vents are open. My model pushes cold air from the bottom up, so I had to store perishable items (fruits, veggies) higher so they don't freeze. I store items in container bins so I can leave space on the sides to make sure the vents don't get blocked. Makes it easier to clean also. Just remove container(s) to clean shelf.

I think the seal is part of our problem as it does come away on one edge so I think I could do with removing it and putting it back on again. It's a real nuisance!

We use 2 mini fridges so they are below counter height and 1 has been freezing like that. I have found that using some low or clear trays helps pull stuff in and out and keeps stuff from getting stuck in the back. Of course I just shift to the other fridge, the only thing Ive found is that not having anything in the back few inches helps with air flow and it freezes less? Slower? And fully unplugging and letting it thaw (taking chunks out but getting the rest thawed and mopped up so there is less moisture works better than thawing just enough to get the big chunk out.... I've done that the last 2 times and it is now freezing in about a week instead of a few months. Keeping door shut instead of standing with it open to look helps some, but with multiple people it doesnt really work well.

Thank you so much, so many great tips 😊
I'll try fully thawing it out next time and see if that gives us longer before the iceberg!

Loved this Nat. Is your fridge temperature set too cold maybe? We have a frost free freezer but I didn't know there were frost free fridges - there shouldn't ever be frost in a fridge should there? 🤔 Wishing you a merry Christmas 🎄

It's weird isn't it. I can't work it out either - it really shouldn't frost over!
