Awesome intro, Serge. Solution for you, be sure to use the full 5 exposures (AEB) if you are wanting a greater range of shots (+2 and -2) I know that was the solution with the Phantom 4 Pro + as well.
Great tutorial, thanks for sharing with us! Of course the DJI Mavic 2 is a great drone and really deserves to be enjoyed, so I'm posting several videos from other channels of hobbies ... I'm flying with Bebop 2, Anafi, Disco and other RC planes! Let's go to the next challenge...
Hey Serge. Just FYI, typically for video you would want to use a shutter that is a multiple of your FPS. Twice the FPS is the most common. Otherwise you can end up with issues during edits.
Polar Pro ND and polarizer filters for water effects and for better exposures into the sun and you will be amazed on how much detail you can pull out of the shadows without blowing out the highlights.. large prints actually hold up surprisingly well with that 1” sensor. In calm, low wind conditions, you can achieve long shutter speeds with very little visible blur
Salut Serge! 1- Open your props before T/O. If you see videos en slo-mo, you'll see that the motors are really vibrating while they open automatically. Perhaps it isn't proven that it does make any differences, but common sense dictates that it has to be easier on the tear and wear of your Mavic. 2- Install some strobes on the back legs. It will make a huge difference when you fly, to be able to locate the drone. For example: www.phantomhelp.com/store/strobon-cree-led-strobe-light 3- When you take-off, continue to climb to at least 23 feet of altitude, before to start moving forward. That will allow the downward vision system to scan the ground below and remember the location of the drone so it’s able to land in the same spot when it returns. "Tip #34 on how not to crash your drone" at: www.phantomhelp.com/tips/prevent-a-crash-or-flyaway-with-your-dji-drone-the-complete-guide.38#preflight-checks 4- As already mentioned, ND filters exists for the Mavic. AND, long exposure is surprisingly possible with a drone! I have been doing successfully some shots as much as 4 seconds, which is hard to believe, considering that it must always be a bit breezy up there!
Try and tell me that wasn’t fun. I’m looking forward to you getting and showing the quality if those pictures you get of those difficult hard to get places with that drone. I want to pull the trigger and get one of those but I wasn’t sure of the quality of the picture.
Today i used AEB 65clips of the sunrise, after merging it, i find the photos of the sun is white and bright just like a white patch, when i look at the 5 photos there is no white patch only found it after the merge, please advice, i m using lightroom 2019
You go way too fast! Plus as I am following along, I don’t have a photo section when you have the camera highlighted. Maybe a different version of software? I just bought my Mavic 2 pro and fly longer bag on May 1st 2020. I have the Smart controller ordered and will be here May 9th. Could you please do an updated version of the software? Thank you for sharing! But go a little slower next time 😎
Excellent video Serge.....I'm a new Drone Pilot and I own a Mavic Pro 2, your video truly helped me a lot........thank you!
Very happy to hear! Thanks for the nice feedback! ;-)

Oh perfect! Happy it works out for you!

I just realised this and I do it now !

I will check the out!
I do it it 'camera raw filter' in phoptoshop cc and find it is fast and can be recorded as an action - Thanks for that demo.
if you are shooting photos in raw u can leave white balance at auto.... dont really matter change that setting shooting in raw
True but it can also give you a look if you do pick a white balance :-)
Salut Serge!

It was! Thanks ;-)
I think you can get d-log in H264. What you cant get in h264 is the 10bit color mode
Okay ;-)

Hi Serge, what do you think about Mavic Zoom? Or MPro2 is much much better, in all aspects?
Thật tuyệt vời , Video của bạn hay lắm!
Nice, thx. But uhm.... a cirkel has no edges 😜
wow awesome
Thanks al lot love that drone
Serge Ramelli Photography i love drone i have à dji spark
Why would the white balance be important when shooting raw. It´s only for the visual representation on the LCD!
Why adjust shutter before iris when shooting video? The lens is sharpest at about f4-5.6.
Doesn’t 3.2 give you more pixels than 16:9
yes
Thank you.
How did you decide manic pro over the mavic zoom?
Because what I care the most is photo quality
Is it okay to fly drones at Griffith?
No. It's also not okay to fly at night.
