2024 Elections | IEC briefing on the state of readiness for 29 May polls, international voting

The IEC is hosting a media briefing today to discuss the preparations for the upcoming May 29th election. They will also cover the arrangements for out-of-country voting, which has been scheduled to take place across 111 foreign missions on Friday and Saturday. More than 78 000 South African citizens residing in other countries will have the opportunity to cast their vote next week.

Only English language is used by IEC to explain the south Africans their right to vote and this a violation of the right to language in section 6 of the constitution of the Republic of South Africa,1996.what about our parents who do not understand English.Please IEC do correct thing because our parents need this information of the right to vote and they only speak African language.
