This video was full of so many special guests, they're actually almost completely overshadowing everything else for me! And i mean that in a sincere way. The moment Gei4Mei made an appearance, i knew i was in for a ride, and i was so pleasantly surprised to see Wildwheel's Hat and DecepticonAiden in there! That being said, this video was a ride and a half! It took me nearly half the day to watch it all, but I'm glad i did and im happy to see you come this far. Even though i had only heard about you more recently, youve quickly grown into one of my favourite TF RUclipsrs. All i can i say is, i can't wait for Doctor Lockdown to review all the Lockdown figures.
This video was an utter triumph. I clicked on it for the nostalgia, but the cameos from so many community members, from the well established to the not so known to me (I'll be dropping quite a few subs after this) this was such a special project. Congrats on 8 years dude! Heres to many, many more!
I gather there won’t be a Legiondary Marathon this year due to this absolute behemoth of a video, but frankly, it is a worthy sacrifice. Congrats on 8 years. Here’s to however many more you want.
This massive video is great when at work. Just hearing a fan and his friends/colleagues talk about a thing they're passionate about is...satisfying? Relaxing? I'm not sure what the word would be, but it just gives me a bit of energy and good feelings.
Having seen the segment on Earthrise Starscream, I have two questions. 1. What were your initial thoughts when Nacelle was revealed to be a Siege Tetrajet retool rather than an Earthrise F-15 retool, were you surprised with this decision or not? 2. Based off of the images and footage we have so far, how does Reactivate Starscream fair against against the Earthrise Seeker mold, as well as the SS Bumblebee Seekers, Core Class Seekers, and Siege Tetrajets?
41:04 I wanted a bumblebee for my collection so I got this one because Amazon said it was 5 inches (I was looking for a taller one even though it’s actually like 3) and I’m not even kidding it was $100
This is like the smash ultimate of transformers reviewers. Congrats on the 8 years, I’ve been around for at least 5 of them and loved every last one of them
This was one of you best videos @drlockdown. I loved every moment of it, from the cameos, to the analysis to chat it was a wonderful experience. It also reinvigorated my love for getting these figures too. I collect them for fun and the characters I love, so thanks. For my top 5 (im not ranking them all) I'd probably go 5 Deep Cover, for a wicked color scheme. 4. Cyclonus, for his brillinat Transformation and general love for the character from MTMTE 3. Shockwave, for his play value and general quality 2. Siege Optimus, as he's my favorite Transformers Character of all time and I love the colors and general feel of the toy 1. Airazor. She brings back a lot of memories for me and is overall a great toy. You Rock!
This is like my 4th time watching this video from start to end and man is this commendable. I mean... I've been procrastinating about making one review for weeks and this man just comes and makes a full on list with the whole trilogy, fucking awesome man, one of, if not the best reviewer in the whole site!
2:40:10 Crosshairs was my first Siege figure and he’s my absolute favorite, hands down. He’s really simple compared to others in my collection, but I appreciate the fact he brought back a niche character design and did him so much justice. You could’ve told me that the mold was made for Crosshairs and I would’ve believed you. The head is my favorite part, because it brought back the original head from the cartoon, comics, and other iterations. I only wish that he came with his OG targetmaster partner Pinpointer, instead of them being separate. Oh well 😔
As a base, I think the Netflix Prime is weaker than the Earthrise. However after adding the black Nemesis trailer and some reprolabels, it makes an absolutely incredible G2 Comic Prime that I 100% believe surpasses the Earthrise. The Earthrise mould (while not as good as Siege Prime) is decent, but I don’t think it works for G1 Optimus at all, especially when so much of the colour has been replaced with dull grey, and the proportions are all wrong. Being a G2 Comic Prime, the jank proportions of the mould actually suit the Netflix version really well. P.S. I also greatly prefer Siege Soundwave to the Netflix. Yes the space barge is weird, but all the Netflix had to do was be a box and it couldn’t even do that without having weird gaps and lumps and kibble and faux forming. It should be the easiest alt mode in all of transformers to do, why was it so compromised?
20:52 YES!!!!! Finally seeing the mental image created by Scorponok's Worst of the Year entry realized... All I can say is "Never in my life have I needed something so much, and never known until I received it." I guess you could say he's another entry in a Little Shop of (Engineering) Horrors?
I still have my Netflix hound since I got him only a few weeks after I got the regular version. I saw the reports of the neck breakage issue only a few hours of I purchased netflix hound. I used an extra sharp scalpel and cut the head down the seem since it wasn't glued properly and through that, I found out his inner neck was painted on my copy.
@@DrLockdown I've been trying to top off my "G1 Autobot" set. Problem is, Hasbro seems to have some kind of problem with re-doing Gears. Autobots I'm missing are Jazz, Mirage, Prowl, Bluestreak and Hound. I didn't really like the Datsun mold, the legs are too hollow and those rotating flaps provide only minimal cover...
I Started Full on Collecting since 2019, back when I first saw Starscream and Soundwave on a Walmart Shelf. I ended up picking up Starscream, and it blew me away. I hadn't seen any reviews of the figure, and the last figure I picked up was Studio Series Cogman back in early 2019, so I was holy impressed with the figure. I then picked up Siege Megatron, then Siege Optimus, then Siege Bluestreak, then The Alphastrike Counterforce, and then it just grew and grew from there. Most of my favorite figures ARE from this Trilogy, so I should have to thank this Trilogy for basically bringing me back full force into the Transformers Fandom after dipping during The Last Knight, and started collecting Lego.
Congrats on 8 years and thanks for all the hard work. So many amazing cameos! Thanks for all the hard work. I was super surprised at where Netflix spoiler Nemesis ended up, I’d have thought he was closer to siege prime.
Can we talk about how this video, which probably took WEEKS to make, is only the second most viewed video on the channel? Like, the most viewed is a shitpost that took about 20 bucks.
Genuinely so happy to see someone else who loves siege ultra magnus so much. Every time I see him on my shelf I can’t help but smile and want to mess with him again. Amazing job on the video and keep up the great work!
As a lesbian who loves Flamewar for Totally Non lesbian reasons.. I do think She should be more popular and have a new figure available so I can buy her please hasbro.
@@dustinarmstrong1168 Couldn't be happier to have that be the case nowadays. Loving all the unique body types and conversions. It's like they're actual Transformers now!
My fav WFC2019 figure is Hotlink. it's such a striking mold and combined with that sweet color scheme it just feels premium, and makes me feel better for the fact I didn't get Skywarp when I had the opportunity. The charcoal gray/Games Workshop Gray/Purple combo looks bland next to the jet blacks and intense bluish purples of Hotlink.
Amazing work sir!!! I’m absolutely astonished you could gather sooo many tubers and do all the entire line! Think you may have created something special here, I’m talking legendary status! Bet you do another “full line” in a few years!! 😜
Kingdom Cyclonus hasn't left my desk since I got him. He's just so damn good, even if I'm not messing with it, just looking at it, and thinking about the figure is always a good time! He's my pick for best of the trilogy!
I loved seeing all (most) of the cameos of people talk about a figure that they cared about and hear them gush about them. I was really excited to see perspectiveend. Sadly, no emgo cameo, but it's totally fine, especially since he does do opinion based content. A great video and I appreciate the work you put into it, hope to see more of your videos soon!
I have been watching this between shifts at work and uni work, but it was worth it. This is one of my favourite videos I have seen this year. And being mentioned in the Blackarachnia section? My favourite character from anything ever? Thank you so much
No. I didn't forget. He even shows up in the video. I made the conscious decision not to include Takara-only releases, like that and Takara selects. It's why you don't see Super Megatron show up either. I explain right at the beginning
I look back on siege bluestreak really fondly. He’s a good figure and it really helped I got him for five dollars in an actual Walmart not even aftermarket
This is the most ambitious toy review I have ever watched. 4 hours of amazing content and I loved it that you got so many reviewers from my childhood, seriously SEAN LONG AND MITCHSANTONA?!!!! THOSE TWO WERE LEGENDS IN MY CHILDHOOD!!!! This is the best thing I've watched and the End product is legitimately legendary, amazing work Doctor, my hat's forever off two you. You honestly, in my eyes, gained your spot within the Pantheon of great Toy Reviewers. Right in the S-Tier with Emgo, MitchSantona, Sean Long, Baltmatrix, Thew Adams, Peaugh, Vangelus, ShartimusPrime, Optibotimus, JobbytheHong, PrimeVsPrime, and ThatToyGuy. Congrats on 8 years, and here's to another great year!!
Wonderful job with this video all around. What an accomplishment this was for the fandom, and seeing other creators I recognized made it that much more meaningful.
My favorite of Trilogy was probably Rodimus. I’m not even a hardcore Rodimus fan, my favorite character is Jetfire, but this figure blew me away. One of my favorite conversions made of incredible feeling materials and comes with a load of cool stuff. Also Rhinox crew represent. He rocks.
Your placing Rhinox at #54 in the excellent section made me feel vindicated. I love my Rhinox. I was so bloody excited to snap him up at a Target while on vacation a couple of years ago. The hate he receives, in my opinion, is undeserved. His beast mode is well-detailed and quite photogenic and his size makes him stand tall next to my Kingdom Primal and Dinobot. I am GLAD I got this Rhinox!
I've honestly never had an issue with my bombshock. I literally went and grabbed it whenever you made that segment trying to make sure, but yea, my bombshocks turret is perfectly fine.
The Second I got Grapple, I was like "Oh this is going to break right here" and I clipped down those pegs.

Haha. Nah I don't even want all the lockdown figures.
Lockdown ain't my favourite character. Never was.
@@DrLockdownkinda cold man 😭
This video was an utter triumph. I clicked on it for the nostalgia, but the cameos from so many community members, from the well established to the not so known to me (I'll be dropping quite a few subs after this) this was such a special project. Congrats on 8 years dude! Heres to many, many more!
It's so cool how many Transformers RUclipsrs were in this, It's amazing how far this channel has come
Congrats Doc, this was an amazing watch, great to see so many faces and voices throughout. Amazing work and look forward to what comes next!
I gather there won’t be a Legiondary Marathon this year due to this absolute behemoth of a video, but frankly, it is a worthy sacrifice. Congrats on 8 years. Here’s to however many more you want.
Was NOT expecting the “the heavy is dead” remake. Phenomenal

Cyclonus: OIM RILLY FEELIN' IT!!! BACKSLASH!!!

Cyclonus: 0: _OH NO_
This massive video is great when at work.
You can see my reaction to nacelle in a stream somewhere. It was uber hype.
And I dunno about reactivate. Looks alright. Willing to give it a shot.
41:04 I wanted a bumblebee for my collection so I got this one because Amazon said it was 5 inches (I was looking for a taller one even though it’s actually like 3) and I’m not even kidding it was $100
That was an amazing video, dude. Thank you for the awesome content over the last 8 years, and here's to many more.
This is like the smash ultimate of transformers reviewers. Congrats on the 8 years, I’ve been around for at least 5 of them and loved every last one of them
Thank you so much for this, Doc. I very much appreciate all the effort (and money) it took to make this video possible. Aloha!
Haha not a lot of money actually. You'll notice I've credited a few people in the credits. Everything I didn't have, I used their copies.
10 months later i still love this video
This was one of you best videos @drlockdown. I loved every moment of it, from the cameos, to the analysis to chat it was a wonderful experience.
It also reinvigorated my love for getting these figures too. I collect them for fun and the characters I love, so thanks.
For my top 5 (im not ranking them all) I'd probably go
5 Deep Cover, for a wicked color scheme.
4. Cyclonus, for his brillinat Transformation and general love for the character from MTMTE
3. Shockwave, for his play value and general quality
2. Siege Optimus, as he's my favorite Transformers Character of all time and I love the colors and general feel of the toy
BOOM! IT"S ME WARPATH! Yes, kingdom Warpath is probably my favorite WFC figure because of my love of the character and how good thing is.
Same
2:40:10 Crosshairs was my first Siege figure and he’s my absolute favorite, hands down.

All I can say is "Never in my life have I needed something so much, and never known until I received it."
I guess you could say he's another entry in a Little Shop of (Engineering) Horrors?
I've tried looking into it, but I'm not finding anything. What's this about Studio Cell being fascist?!?!?
I still have my Netflix hound since I got him only a few weeks after I got the regular version. I saw the reports of the neck breakage issue only a few hours of I purchased netflix hound. I used an extra sharp scalpel and cut the head down the seem since it wasn't glued properly and through that, I found out his inner neck was painted on my copy.
55:55 was there really a trademark on “Large Father?” -Thew Adams
Cheers for letting me be a part of this Dec! Video came out great and hope to catch up soon
Seeing the labels on Netflix Megatron, I kinda wish I had a set of them stickers ;).
It's a fantastic set. Highly recommend
I got generation selects nightbird yesterday and her croch piece broke off on her first transformation so that’s $100 well wasted
Jesus. It's bad enough for me paying retail, but $100?! Christ!!
Congrats on 8 years and thanks for all the hard work. So many amazing cameos! Thanks for all the hard work.
I was super surprised at where Netflix spoiler Nemesis ended up, I’d have thought he was closer to siege prime.
I don't like the lack of turquoise. Would've gone into detail, but primal took the listing
@@DrLockdown Thanks for the explanation, that’s understandable. I really love that figure… I actually got the nonnef kit for the trailer.
The trailer rocks. I actually purchased the trailer separately for my SG version
Happy anniversary, doc! BTW, would old "yer basterd!" Vorn return?
Perhaps
Can we talk about how this video, which probably took WEEKS to make, is only the second most viewed video on the channel?
Like, the most viewed is a shitpost that took about 20 bucks.
2:11:38 RIN PENROSE!
I definitely agree about rhinox. I got it for Christmas once and have grown to really appreciate it. Though the legs do frustrate me.
I'll have to watch this in like 3 days once I get home, but thanks for letting me be a part!
Dang this is massive; gonna watch in multiple sittings. Thanks for all your effort, happy anniversary, hope you're having a good day
Was fun to be a part of this project - great video mate!
I don’t understand at all why runabout/runamuck costs so much on eBay and other third party sellers. Ridiculous

The homage to "The Heavy's Dead" made me fucking wheeze.
Heh. "wOMen HArD." Perfectly accurate representation of how fembots are treated.

He's my pick for best of the trilogy!
im sorry saying everyone who didnt like unicron didnt have him is the most disingenuous transformers take ive ever heard.
He literally said "most people" dude
I loved seeing all (most) of the cameos of people talk about a figure that they cared about and hear them gush about them. I was really excited to see perspectiveend. Sadly, no emgo cameo, but it's totally fine, especially since he does do opinion based content. A great video and I appreciate the work you put into it, hope to see more of your videos soon!

No. I didn't forget. He even shows up in the video.

It's a good mould. Unjustly hated
Wonderful job with this video all around. What an accomplishment this was for the fandom, and seeing other creators I recognized made it that much more meaningful.
This is such a wonderful surprise to wake up to! Especially on my birthday! Please keep up the great work - hope you have another great 8 years!
Happy birthday mate
