I so agree on the stocking up! I may take this a little overboard but with my last baby we literally could not fit another single thing in the freezer and deep freezer hah! I prepped complete freezer meals and also had meats precooked in the freezer with things in the pantry for easy throw together meals. I also had lots of easy snacks in the pantry for my preschooler and stocked all of our household supplies. I was also totally stocked on baby essentials and over the counter meds/first aid items. It was so wonderful to not have to go to the grocery store or to have to use mental energy to think to write a list for my husband to go to the store. I also utilized grocery pick up at Walmart or the local grocery store to make it easier when he did need to go to the store for fresh items for me. It was amazing to not have to do any big grocery shopping for about two months after the baby was born. Lots of people told me it was unnecessary but it gave me such peace of mind. I knew my family was well taken care of and I could rest and heal.

+Brady Browning oh wow that is wonderful! I think the pick up idea is genius and I would have definitely used that when I had babies. That was the one thing I did not enjoy doing. I put my new born in a sling and his them so no one would touch or look lol germs!?!?!? You are on top of things ! Great job

You are a good mama Amy!!! Yes about the sleep is important, when my daughter was born i forgot what sleep meant for a year ....And so on . So for mothers is important to rest any time they find available !! With the depression you need someone to boost you up , i remember my boss came at home and she said Ria fix your hair put a dress we going out ...you need sunshine !!!!

How do you get them to obey ? Mine do sometimes but not always.... I don't expect perfection but my 5 and 7 year old whining needs to stop..any tips?

+Kelleee R consistency. Consistency consistency! :). Start with one issue. Obeying first time. Require them to listen the fjrst time every time. Make it fun. call them and the one who listens give a small candy or treat. They will be surprised :). Then require it each time..don't give them candy each time. Let them know each time you call they are to come if they fail to let them sit for their age. Then when the time is up say ok the next time I call u , you are to come the first time. Smile and hug them. Then test them again. They will get tired of sitting :). And will obey. This is the hard mom part because it requires us to be on it. So that is why I say focus on one issue at a time :) you got this! Invest effort and time on your part a lot on the beginning and then in the end you won't have to:)

amy maryon its so hard but so worth it.. I do feel like i failed in some ways already. Plus 18 month old twins.. I'm pulled in so many directions.. 😥 I really love your plannijg ahead methods. I've really tried to simplify my meals or have stuff stocked up. We do not have a deep freezer so I'm not able to do your freezer meals but I do try to keep the key ingredients stocked. I have a ton of chicken in freezer currently. Can you share your pineapple chicken recipe? Also thank you so much for all your encouraging videos. You seem like a wonderful Godly mom!!!

+Kelleee R I have all my recipes over at my blog www.plainandnotsoplain.com. Don't think you have failed, you can turn it around. :) it just takes perseverance and determination to want to have better. Your five and seven year old are not too old to discipline. Trust me it is better late then never. Mine I waited for a few years as I didn't know either in the beginning. Just start with that and then keep going. I'll share some videos on what we have done :). You got this! Start speaking positive into your life as a mother and influencer on your children. :)

Ah Amy your so good for us mama’s. I remember those days so well. I wish so much I had you to listen to back then. It was a very lonely time with very little encouragement. My youngest is 6 and I flirt with having a forth. The forth just seems such a big jump. Bigger car, bigger house. Did you find the forth a big jump?

+Joanne Ramirez I was a lonely momma as well:( after the fourth it's like no big deal. Then u can keep going :) if your youngest is 6 then the next one will be easier . Seek the Lord and talk with your husband .. Don't let fear rule you! :)
