I think some of them had been caught and released before I got there, but the water was quite cool. The vast majority didn’t feel lazy regarding the fight anyway!
I was in a party of 6 guys there for a long weekend… all of us were trying lots of lures and getting bites but the fish wouldn’t stay on. It was weird, like 3 total fish actually landed on lures vs dozens landed on crawlers (but we lost a lot of those fish too). Why they would stay pinned better on a small single hook, when so many were hooked on the outside of their mouths, is a total mystery to me.
Congrats on all those beautiful fish. YOu were on them that day!
Thanks man!!! A day to remember for sure!
Beautiful holdover brown
Thanks and thanks for watching!

I’m not exactly sure what you mean but will take this as sincere and say you are welcome :)
Would this be the "Black" described by Ernest Hemingway in a short story? He did live in Vermont.
Did you check the water temperature? Those fish seemed awfully lazy!

Banner Day! No lures, just nightcrawlers?

@@Coullfishing_nature_animals Use a 'stinger': a small hook trailing off the main hook by a piece of say 10-lb. mono.
Annoying and silly voice soundtrack but at least no music, just the sound of nature in the water.
Thanks for watching and commenting! I get very excited about fishing and that often manifests as annoying and silly diarrhea of the mouth. Be well :)
