      Barbie movies were also kind of dark. There was one were the aunt was literally poisoning the king so she could seize the throne. They showed her doing this. She was cursed to dance until she dropped at the end of the movie. In another quite popular one, there was: theft, kidnapping, attempted double homicide, idk exactly what the name of this is, but while it was for a good cause, they had the other girl impersonate a member of the royal family while the love interest looked for the real one. Also, a lot of conspiracy and sabotage .

      @@hithere911 Duchess Rowena, yes. From "Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses", I remember that very well.. 😅 Her musclehead henchman got trapped with her the moment he grabbed her hand, so he's basically gone too. The music in that old film was nice, though. Sure, it wasn't their own music, but that was how I became interested in classical music. Same goes for Swan Lake, and um.. The Magic of Pegasus. Those other two Barbie movies were great. ☺️

      @@snowball03-boop Yeah, I can trace my interest in theatre back to Barbie. I got interested in ballet (though, had no means to actually get into dance classes, probably for the better tbh), and learned more about stage performance from a book about classic ballets.

    Can we shout out that Fashion Pixiez did actually do due diligence in their potrayal of the Fae and how they're more often than not morally gray? Alongside, the dark pixie's circle rave being based off the myth of people dancing in a faerie circle and being trapped for eternity. Also the fact the fae are more likely to harm rather than help you and never eating their food unless you wanna be trapped by them. Anyways can you tell fairies were my hyperfixation as a child?

      @@clown-cult96 Yeah but see Bratz/MGA/Issac Larien or whoever else doesn't really care about the side characters looks or unimportant people like stinky guy characters let alone the adults. The adults or teachers or parents in the Bratz universe let alone the guys besides the main boys of course and any love interests have always been kinda uggo. It's just the Bratz way. Honestly I feel they purposely make them ugly to draw more attention to the Bratz perhaps? They are the main character's after all and perhaps they wanted to sell their dolls by showing off how pretty they were and better looking than half the other characters they come across. Maybe that's the point, that or they just really didn't give a crap about making everyone else pretty unless they were the main girls or even just a girl at all. They always made the girls prettier in all of their movies and the show because tbh as lil girls (the main demographic for these dolls and movies and such) why would they focus on side characters or adults or boys? 🤷🏽‍♀️😅 Anywho yeah the king was kinda uggo and looked about 50/60 whereas the mother looked like she drank from the fountain of youth or something like aren't they both supposed to be magical fairy's/pixies or whatever so how does she look 20-30 years younger than him? Perhaps he just didn't get stuck with good genes in his family or the creators just hated him? Who knows really? Or they could've even just been too lazy to care about some rando dad. After all the movie focused more on the 4 main Bratz, Cymbeline and Brianna and also Dylan and the evil pixie lady that seduced Dylan but the dad was just kinda there i guess?🤷🏽‍♀️🙈 Oof. Poor sad Pixie King Daddy all uggo and in the background like he didn't even matter. 🤭🤣

Ive got chapstick tgat u still kept not to use but fpr keepsakes becaude they dont make them anymore yk bratz merch and stuff. I've even had the really humongous bratz doll but lost that too or something somehow and have a bratz jade head that i practiced makeup on so she's a tad ruined. I also have bratz blankets. Also cups and mugs. I wanna say thats probably it but I'm not sure if there's more. I think I'm all Bratzified out by now but i could always use some more merch if they ever make more. 😂🙈 Heck i was even born the year after bratz. Thats how compatible me and bratz are with eachother. Me and bratz are like this 🤞🏽💁🏽‍♀️ 😆 I also memorized basically all the songs. My personal favorites are "let go" and roxxis "so good" also rockstar from prima J. I think i might be a tad insane when it comes to bratz. I also have the bratz lip couch now too since i got it for Christmas recently. Also a Bratz plug in game with remote, and brats figures i got from a past birthday cake and also past birthday bratz cards, and 2 bratz wallets. I'd also print out printer paper of bratz themed pictures to color on the computer. Suffice to say I've got enough bratz merch to last me a lifetime. 😅😆 And possibly even more i can't remember rn. Plus my storyline i created for them with my mother was absolutely insane. That's a whole nother topic of discussion but mother of pink all i need now is Burdine editor in chief and raining queen of fashion and I'll be good to go with my whole collection. 😂 I could always judt substitute Barbie for Bird Brain as that is essentially the same thing. 😁

I do always think about the fact that Dylan is in class with Cymbeline, meaning he's most likely a senior, so possibly 17-18 years old, and does end up liking Breanna back by the end of the movie. I don't think he really cares about "age" when it comes to being well......."The Dylman". 😅 Plus never try to actually make sense of Bratz logic and the specifics or the plot in depth because I don't think they were thinking of it either when writing. Bratz never makes sense logically because that stuff gets yeeted out the window once you enter Stylesville. Just don't question anything and shhhhh. 🤫🙈 At least it's not too creepy since he'd still be a teen just slightly older so not too weird but still what else do you expect from Dylan out of all the other Bratz? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Anywho I'd say this one is my 4th favorite. • @madlie2452
      @madlie2452 16 дней назад

      The core four, Dylan and Cymbeline are Juniors because Cymbeline has just turned 17 in the movie (remember she has to be 18 to get her wings, which is what she asked for on her birthday). Sasha also says that it’s the end of April (this happens when the core four talk to Dylan for the first time after Lena enchants him) and therefore the end of the school year, so Breanna is for sure 15. It’s still a weird age gap because Breanna is basically a baby who is written to be much more naive than the other characters, but it’s two years instead of three.

    Ngl I watched this movie so many times as a kid that it never occurred to me that there’s an addiction allegory. I took it at face value and thought the message was “be careful of what you wish for, bc you just might get it.” And the importance of forming strong, healthy relationships that are based on mutual respect and understanding. Bc when times get tough, there are ppl who will be in your corner. I also thought it was about the importance of culture in a connected world. It’s easy to get caught up in tradition or push your norms on others which can help spread the divide. When really, having an open and honest conversation would help a lot, and respecting each other’s backgrounds. So you aren’t alone and can find solace in those different from you. But idk I need to rewatch the movie one of these days

      @thesimudrowned Oh you mean the creepy potato aliens from the Superhero Babyz one? Weird/choice but hey yk sure.......frankly they creeped me the hell out so I think I much prefer the Diamondz movie and then probably rock Angelz as my 2nd choice. That superhero Babyz one and the spoopy sleepover one have got to be the worst 2 for me as far as favorites go they are on the very bottom but only cuz wth was even going on in either of these movies. I mean I couldn't tell if they were supposed to be the Bratz or horror movies. #Traumatized as child. Anywho you do you boo but for me no thanks. Plus the granny was so annoying and just ughhh and then on top of that lil baby Cloe was also kinda meh I mean her superpower for heavens sake was just straight up screaming like a banshee. Like why though? Plus their outfits were kinda lame in comparison to the other Babyz movies but at least they had pretty hair like they always do. It was kinda funny though just slightly creepy as far as designs go because wth were those aliens and why'd they look like LITERAL potatoes and rooty veggies? 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

    I 100% agree, children should have movies that introduce them to proper story structure and kids like drama, fantasy, mystery, and all genres (even horror) too. Why should kids be limited in the things they watch as long as it's presented in an age appropriate way.

    So as someone with light sensitivity, I greatly appreciate the warning about the lights! However the lights were done correctly so that they wouldn't be triggering to most if not all people with sensitivity to flashing lights. It seems bad at a glance because flashing lights, but the main issue with flashing lights is actually the sudden shift from sharp brightness to sharp darkness. The lights are very dull and at a low speed, so it doesn't even make me slightly uncomfortable. It's also why I'm usually okay-ish seeing police lights in the daytime, but at night I have to fully close and cover my eyes. They did a perfect job of getting the rave scene across without endangering children and parents with light sensitivity!

    I mean if any Bratz girl is gonna do teen substance abuse it would be Cloe. She’s like always on the brink of a panic attack. Like her reaction to missing an exam at the end was a full on spiral.
    I also just noticed that the way the girls are holding hands around the pixie parent tree is not a good way to hold hands. Like I feel like if the fingers were interlaced they would be struggling as much.
