I've uploaded a remix of this track before titled "Sub Sirens -Solosail Remix-". However, oddly enough, this track is simply called "Solosail" rather than "Sub Sirens". I've even uploaded a track from the same album before (titled "Humanize" from sevencolors), but somehow I completely ignored this track. It's time to pay tribute to the original.
This original version is pretty damn nice, and still makes use of the Dark and Sweet appends (I freaking LOVE the Dark append). I've worked my usual magic to make it look and sound better than the other reprints (image to compare: i.imgur.com/Xxb.... Enjoy!
This track was composed by John (じょん), and is a part of the "Human" album by the Innovate Sounds group.

It really sets a nice atmosphere too. I love it when the music feels like it's actually surrounding you.
This was by the same producer who did Meteor, one of my favourites. And this is mind-blowing, too. John does some seriously amazing work with the Appends. ^^
he makes great use of the Compressor+pan effect at the beginning. I Hear this in a lot of house music, but it works well in this too.
Yes, the vocals in this song were from Miku's append software. As I said in the description, it uses the Dark and Sweet vocal styles.

The original source was 640x360 from nicovideo. My conversion process involves a lot more work than simply resizing it like some reprinters might do. However, it's still not "perfect" 720p in terms of quality. It's best viewed at 720p in the small or medium player, not in full screen.

What happened to the Sub Sirens upload? Solosail is one of my favorite tracks from じょん, and I'm sad to see an equally great remix go.
It was a video I had to delete a while ago, because a bug caused when RUclips started testing the HTML5 player made the audio vanish.

Append is an updated voice bank of Miku as they didn't like the old one too much and thought they could make Miku sound better

i listened to Miku from 1 year now and i never understand the difference

+fabio calandro Listen to any 'Append' song and compare it to any Miku song on my channel that does not say 'Append' or 'V3'. There is a very distinct vocal tone difference. Hatsune Miku Append added 6 additional vocal styles over Hatsune Miku's original V2 software (many of these returned in her V3 release). There's 6 styles in all: Dark, Sweet, Soft, Solid, Vivid and Light. I always mention the specific ones used in each song in the video description.
