I do rice in my ninja air fryer, but I use the pressure cooker option. Wash your rice thoroughly, pressure cook for two minutes and then it’s slow release for nine minutes. It comes out perfectly. You’re welcome.
Okay 👍
Thank you!🎉 I just got my first Airfryer and want to make rice and veggies with exotic South African meatballs for dinner. This helps a lot.
Thank you for sharing!♥️🌹
Thank you so much! It came out great ❤

@@FlavoreddbyNikki Your'e welcome
This is super helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for stopping by, Nikki 😍
thank you, as a student with an air fryer and a pan to my name, we have to strive diligently to find ways to cook everything in the world with only these tools 🤣
🌺♥️

Thats really yummy thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!, Nikki
I will try tomorrow... Give me good wishes for that❤
Good luck! Thank you for stopping by, Nikki 😍
can I use parchment paper/baking paper ? instead of aluminum foil ?
Hello, yes you use that instead!, Nikki ♥️🙏
make sure it's attached securely somehow. If not it will fly up into the heating element and could catch fire.
Can you do it without the aluminium?
Hello, you can use parchment paper instead or a heat proof lid or a plate will work too, Nikki 🌺♥️
Hi there. May I know the size of ur air fryer?
Hello, my Air Fryer is 8.5 quarts! Nikki
@@FlavoreddbyNikki tq its mean XL right
Can this recipe be doubled, and if so, how long would I have to cook a double batch?
Hello, you definitely can double the recipe, just add less water maybe like 1/2 cup less to the full amount! Nikki
What happens if you dont cover it with foil ?
Rice will not become softer, Nikki
Haiyaa
👍
Please can you tell me what kind of bowl did you use? Because I am scared to put a random glass bowl in the airfryer.
Hello, you can use any oven safe/baking dish or bowl for the Air Fryer. Good luck, Nikki
@@FlavoreddbyNikki Thanks dear. I'll buy an oven bowl now. Thank you again.
@@FlavoreddbyNikki isn't the air fryer idea about letting the air go around? How would a normal oven bowl allow it to function properly?
@@abdulrahmanhs8162it is. That's why doing this in an air fryer takes too long (near 1 hour for rice?...)
i used oven safe bowl for my air fryer and when i try to pick the bowl from the basket it breaks into pieces 😭😭😭😭 my mom gonna kill me.
35 min for rice, its a no for me =_=
Okay, 😊
35mins! It’s quicker and easier to cook it on the hob!
😊
But then it takes 35 minutes to dry out.
Cobblers….about 5mins to boil to the point where the water is mostly absorbed, then heat off/lid on tight with a tea towel under. Leave for 15mins done and perfect every time and 15mins quicker than the air frier 😉🤷♂️
Water takes 10 minutes to bring to the boil, so you're talking nonsense, buddy boy. And I've never seen rice dry in 15 minutes. I do it in the steamer. 40 minutes. No effort, no checking, no stirring, no drying out. In a bowl with half a cup of water. Easy.@@stevebarker1302
i used oven safe bowl for my air fryer and when i try to pick the bowl from the basket it breaks into pieces 😭😭😭😭 my mom gonna kill me.
Hello, I’m sorry to hear that! But it’s not suppose to happen as any oven proof dish is safe to be used in the Air Fryer! You can also use metal oven baking dishes! Nikki
@@FlavoreddbyNikki well unfortunately it happened with me and I am getting lectures from my mother🥲
25-30 minutes. XD
😍
Rule number one: Never boil water in an air fryer.
Here is a recipe for boiling water in an air fryer...
Ok, was that a joke! 🤣
25-30 mn too long , without aluminium should decrease this time . Too long comparing to traditionnal prep of rice . Your air fryer is just useless for rice
Hello, you can try to adjust the temperature and timing to however it works for you, Nikki
Didn't work for me ☹
Hello, I’m sorry to hear that! Please make sure to follow the recipe step by step!😀
Can’t you just talk us through instead of lazy music......
🤣🌺
Fake
What?, Nikki
I literally did exactly what you did and it did not work. I dislike your video because if it.
Hello, I’m sorry to hear it did not work for you!
Please try it again and adjust the Air fryer temperature and also depending on the bowl you’re using!
I literally had made the whole thing in the Air Fryer!
Nikki🌺
Did you drain the rice or the water just evaporated?
Hello, water wasn’t and shouldn’t be drained as the rice needs the water in order to get cooked and soft! Thank you for stopping by, Nikki
Basmati rice takes 12 minutes on the gas stove and gas is way cheaper than electricity. These air fryers really are overrated, and conning the public with their energy economy
Seriously? Please use any method works for you, 🙏🌹
I am a bachelor student in Belgium. I can’t afford an electric stove, since there is no gas stoves in here and I am not allowed to use in my room. So I prefer air fryer and making fries are cheaper when compared to gas stove. So nobody is conning here.
It's OK if u work away from home and stay in hotels
I live in England electricity is cheaper than gas
Not everything applies to your country
It also depends on how much you want to cook. What about for 6-7 people?
