Use only White Rice!
Ingredients used here :
1 Cup White Rice
2 Cups Water
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Cumin Seed
2 tbsp Green Pea
Mix it well and put it in the Air Fryer
Set AF at 370 F, 20 min but after 15 min open the basket and stir or mix the cooking rice and again let it AF for 5 min or more if needed. If looks like more water required add to it.

Me as well. Thanks...Nice recipie but I tweaked the recipie alittle.and put foil over the rice except last 5 mins...I also did not put salt but used a stock cube in 2 cups of water...amazing...served with chicken curry

Wont it overflow tho? Since rice goes blublublu when u cook it
I used just 1 cup rice, as I was using a small pan. Rice won't fall if we use correct measurement. If you see the rice is not cooked and it's about to overflow, take some rice out. It's all test and trial to understand our Air fryer function:)

What specific air fryer cooks rice?
All air fryer should be able to cook rice, the most important thing is picking the suitable rice like it can be basmati rice, jasmine rice, small grain rice but not wild rice, black rice, or any boiled rice as those require lot of boiling and we usually throw the starch
I want to try this recipe, but I'm not clear about the rice. It looks like the rice was already cooked or did you use dry rice right out of the bag?
I used basmati rice, just washed it and didn’t soak in water. No it’s not cooked. See at 1:20 those are uncooked washed rice.

Yeah, it’s amazing! Am going to share biryani recipe soon and I’ll prepare that in stainless steel Dabba. We can do in cake pan also. With Brown rice, I usually throw the water and it requires lot of cooking.

Brown rice takes super long, its good to be cooked on stove. I normally throw the starch from brown rice

Well I found a way to cook it in the microwave it's a rice cooker in the microwave perfect for brown rice
@@chrisdiane8429 then the brown rice we have, both differs. If you make it in microwave, then try same temp I've shared in the video for the brown rice. I use a different brown rice, which take a lot time to cook.

Well. I tried it. I have a power XL and it didn’t cook the rice lol. At all. It was in there for over 45 min. I guess my air fryer can’t do it. I tried though.

@@vanity68 this was my first attempt at making rice in Air fryer, it came out perfect. I have another long grain basmati rice I bought from Sams club. Will try that rice and share. How many cups rice and water you put?
@@RemisWorld I used 2 cups rice and 4 cups water. It didn’t even get a little soft. Like the air went right out or something. Maybe I needed to cover it.

Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!

@@RemisWorld okay I used Jasmine rice and kept it at the 370. I have the kalorik double door air fryer. I kept it going until the after cooked out and rice was like 1/2 cooked. I plan to try again.These machines really do vary and thank you for giving me a jumping off point!
