    They did.
    It's not something that happens often, but it fits the song so well that the judges probably overlooked it.

    I think this was the song that won them the contest. The rest were great, but this song is just so entertaining.

    Yes, there's nothing in the rules about what chord you can end on. And davidmeye is right in the fact that it fits the song which actually makes it better than the stock major chord we end on in this instance in my opinion :)

    It was only a 6 chord...not like it was a Maj7 or somethin hehe. I thought Matrix got penalized for ending Georgia on a 7th though.

    I don't know, I'm still a bit sore about them squeezing my district's Men In Black quartet :-P. In all seriousness though, yeah, they don't stink!
