I finally see a car like mine. In 1970, when I was in the Army at Ft. Sill, OK. I bought one just like this. Dark green, same roof, same tires. Except mine had a Hurst 4 speed. I put headers on it and loved it. But then I got sent to Germany and drove it home for storage. Then my dad sold it and this is the 1st one I've seen like it anywhere. And now it's 2023.
Now that's the way a hot rod should sound, great all around car that I would love to own, Jay couldn't resist putting a little rubber on the road love it!!
Had the swinger version of this, with a 340 4BBL. Know where it is, getting towards the end of a frame off resto...will be sure to send the owner (one of my kids swim coaches WAY back in the day) the link...might get his wife off his ass about all the money he's put into his Dart...
I've owned 10 garage Queens, and that fear of bugs, birds and rock chips sucked the fun out of driving those cars. My question is, why would anyone buy this car? You're not going to drive it other than going to a car show and sitting in a lawn chair with your eyes glued to your metal princess for 4 hours. Sound like fun? Right now, I'm thinking of finding a car in primer with a decent drivetrain, and then I'll be able to drive and enjoy it. Makes you think......

Nice but very expensive Dart. No a/c in a southern car.
