Thankyou for posting this session. It is quite the need of the time.
I am a resident from Pune currently looking after my 90+ yr old granny.
This session throws light on many important legal things and laws in regards to old peoples' rights.
But, I have many things on my mind which can help our youth to look after their old parents without making it legal or look ugly.
It's all about empathy, compassion and being human. We should look at life from a bigger len's than just thinking about it from 'my rights' perspective.
Along with your rights, comes your responsibilities which are/ might be legally binding but, should be more guided through love, understanding , empathy and compassion.
I have lots and lots to share on this topic. As you rightly said, we should have such discussions on open public platforms and awareness should be spread about this in our society at large. People should be talking and sharing about these things. Its v v imp and needed.
@Arjun we can sort this out mutually and with an understanding than making the issue public, what say?
I know every family situation will be unique and the case will vary from person to person but, things can be resolved at family level. I know it can get difficult at times but it's achievable and law should be in favour of all as we all are humans and we have our own limitations and short comings.
When I am looking after my 90+ yr old grandmother, I am going through so many challenges and I have gone through many, but I made it possible and making it possible to look after her. It's not easy believe me, but it's possible if we decide to make it possible. 'साम दाम दंड भेद' we have to use all tactics.

How many platforms are seniority? Who is the measurements scale of seniority? Service joining time age , retired time will be see age only why ? but why do you ignoring dob on promotion etc time ? Promotion=age+education+ knowledge of that field+working strength+activeness+behaviour+character should be both sides not only one side+ sincere + should be not corrupt etc

Modern education is ruining indian joint family system/Indian culture/roots/traditions.
Please make one episode on rights of a WIFE. Because wives are not given due respect and not living a dignified life in most of the Indian household. After marriage her own parents make distances as their duties are over and on the other side, their in-laws never accept them whole life as wives are from the another house. Wives are constantly bearing 'Silent' emotional and mental torture inside the same house where people make her feel outsider every single day. And her In-laws bitching about them everywhere, in every street, relatives, family functions everywhere but She prefers to keep silence just because she is a 'woman', society teaches her to bear and keep silence for the family dignity, also they don't want to create any unnecessary drama. They do work 24*7 without any break without any pay. Women in houses are not treated properly by their In-laws. Exceptional cases are every where. But in majority cases, women are not treated properly after marriage, pre pregnancy and post pregnancy by their In-laws.
Mam, Respect is very important for each member. And In-laws should understand that Daughter In law is also an important member of their home. But they never accept that someone so called 'outsider' try to run the house as a responsible person. This partiality and discrimination to women in all factors at In-laws house is very common in our society and disrespectful treatment to her, considering her as second citizen is a deep rooted evil in our society. Mother is always worshipped as she give birth to son, live with him for 18-20years but a WIFE who lives for another 60-70years, who supports him in all ups downs and love him like mother, father, brother sister friend etc. Also she does all the duties of entire family, buy never treated respectfully. Random hurting Jokes on Wife, making fun in front of relatives, scolding by MIL infront of people is common, just to maintain MIL authority among relatives.
Respect is very important. Daughter In law also deserves a dignified life. Please highlight this issue 'Respect your wife' in some of your programs. Thanks. 🙏

सरकार कम से कम 10 हजार रुपया हर महीने पेंशन ,व इलाज मुफ्त की सुविधा दे हर एक सुपर सिटीजन को as a law ।तब जाके समस्या का 90 percet निदान हो जावेगा।कोर्ट के चककर लगाना इस उम्र में मुश्किल भी है costly भी हे।सीधा सरकार कानून बनाये।तब मकसद पूरा होगा वरना नहीं ।हर एक लोअर लेविल अधिकारी को रिश्वत यानी पैसा चाहिए काम बने या न बने।अपनेही लाले पड़े है जीवन यापनके,वो सुविधा शुल्क कैसे देगा।छोटा अधिकारी ज़्यदा मक्कार होताहै।law बनाइये सिर्फ यही समाधान हे समस्या का,खाना पुरती चल ती रहेगी।❤
