Will the dragonfly 2 be good for cross country amidst the change to 4 spikes? I run in Alabama so the courses are not that rough, so would they be good for like grass/ packed gravel at most?
As an 800 and 1600 runner. Should I get the victoryfly 2s or dragonfly 2s. Im thinkin the victorfly's because I also run the 4*4 but the mile is my best event and I wanna optimize for that.
If you are more of a mid distance runner specializing in the 800/mile but going down to 4x4, the Air Victory is a great option. It will be a little more aggressive than the dragonfly and is more tuned for the mid-distance events. -Connor
in a 5k race, how will the dragonfly 2 feel like when compares to the vaporfly 3? iam right when i expect more stiffness, less bounce, more propulsiveness from the dragonfly?
We always try to bring in widths when offered. Good news is we should definitely have 4E width options in the upcoming Pegasus. The Ghost max 2, I cannot verify as I'm not sure if 4E widths will be made. More details to come -Connor
In my opinion the TYO is a lot less aggressive than the dragonfly. More foam, wider platform , and less stiff. I liked the TYO for cross country, but the rods bug my foot on the track. Dragonfly performed better on the track and felt snappier.
Jake, there will be different releases / colors at each of the drops you've mentioned above. It will be super limited in the beginning and more pairs will be available as time goes on. -Connor
The Dragonfly wont be as aggressive as a traditional sprint spike, but many mid distance /long distance runners use the shoe for the 400m and the lightweight design makes it efficient at faster speeds. -Connor
That is incorrect. The Victory and Maxfly have full length carbon plates. The Dragonfly will continue to use a similiar material to version 1. While we dont know the exact material make up, just looking at it and feeling it, it seems to be more of a pebax like material. Much more plastic like than a true carbon plate which helps make the spike not quite as stiff and aggressive as the Victory. -Connor
@@sstevogb I haven't seen any reference to carbon fiber for the dragonfly 2 but if you link the source I can investigate further. Just feeling the shoe though, its pretty clear that the material is not the carbon fiber - Connor
Managed to get the Prototype version on release. Keen to try them out soon!

How will these be for cross country with only 4 spikes?
i need the victory 2ssss
in a 5k race, how will the dragonfly 2 feel like when compares to the vaporfly 3? iam right when i expect more stiffness, less bounce, more propulsiveness from the dragonfly?
Should I get the Dragonfly 2 if I run anything from 600-1500m
Would this be better than the original for cross country
Yeah
But dragonfly xc is still better than this for xc
But if the course has like no mud and your only running a few meets it could work
Can y'all stock the Ghost Max 2 4E and the Pegasus 41 X-Wide? 🙏 I prefer buying from you guys.
The peg 41 isn't even out yet
I'm talking about future drops. The Ghost Max 2 isn't out yet either (i think it's supposed to be Oct drop) @@KingPickler

Do you guys have a preview for the adidas ambition 2 and adidas avanti 2
Keep an eye out on our channel May 1 for more info! -Connor
@@runningwarehouse thanks Connor I really appreciated your coverage on version 1 for picking out which track spike to get
Anyone have a comparison to the Adidas Avanti tyo?
I was looking at this as the least aggressive spike for someone training/workouts in Pegasus

May on the Nike app if you’re quick to the drop

Is this shoe compliant with the World Athletics regulations coming into effect in november 2024 that allow a max sole thickness of 20mm?
We specifically confirmed with Elliott that it is! -Connor
