Everyone who thinks they can rebuild a rusty car needs to watch this series! You guys are amazing, and you're not hiding how hard it is or all the steps and decisions that needed to be taken to get a big job like this done! Fantastic to watch.
I tell ya one thing your friend Dean could be thrown in jail and by the time he got out would be everyone’s penpal and say that was the best vacation he ever had. That Has to be the most positive person I ever seen 👍🏻
OMG Scott I lost it watching you brush paint the inside of the valence out of the chunky soup can!! 😂😂😂 Thats why I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!! ZERO fucks given and absolute top notch work being cranked out every single time. A testiment to ones character I believe. Let the finished product do the talking for you and that car will be turning heads everywhere it goes for sure!! Who new the little town of A was harboring a genius level car guy!! I cant wait to see her in her new paint and chrome all perfectly clean and installed. What a car and what fun watching it all come together...That little mig welder has worked well for you and im so glad it did. Keep on being the best channel on youtube my friend!!
When you're done with the bodywork on this Plymouth you need to write yourself a bill for $50,000 labor. It's fun to watch someone who fixes the unfixable, and does it right.
You nearly killed me with "two week old spaghetti stuck to the fine china". Side splitting entertainment and master-class level body work all rolled into one fine vlog. Cheers!
Years ago a friend of mine stopped over my house to show me this used motorcycle he'd bought. It had a big dent in the top of the gas tank, and he said he wanted to take it to a body shop to get it fixed when he'd saved up enough money. I looked at the dent for a minute and while he was still sitting on the bike I hit the tank with both fists on either side of the dent and it popped right out perfectly. I became a hero, like the Fonz, that day. I want to see an episode of "Will it Pop Out"!
Body work is such a art form, sculptureing metal to restore beautiful classic cars,I wish I knew how to do it,I am a PROUD owner of a 66 dodge charger all original with a 361 engine, and the original certification card, and, and owners manual that came with the car.love watching your show
I absolutely agree that the pink Chrysler should be fixed for Dean! At any rate, the comments are hilarious in this episode as usual! It's not called, "will it pop out!" HAHAHAHA
Who would have thought that when you dug the fury out of the horse paddock knee deep in horse shit.. it would now be where it is and not far away from unleashing those horses on the road again. Full credit to you guys in seeing a vision and making it happen. Thoroughly enjoying this journey from Australia.
@@tomadkins2866 I thought it was going to be some more yard art or parts.. so a fantastic surprise when the started the splice. Great to see the patron support and hopefully this encourages more projects. The straight 8 battle is a great plan
Hi guys, i thought the fury would be a cool yard ornament. I never in my wildest dreams thought it would run again. Too far gone. But, Scott Newstead and the Agents to the rescue! Damn! I cant believe it! Its beyond AWSOME!! IM 61, wrenched my whole life, and im amazed. I love this show!! Rev.
You may think showing a splice is boring shit, but for someone who knows nothing of how it is done, this is so educational. Thanks for sharing! I so look forward to these fury updates.
The Final Splice! You and your Agents work wonders. Gee, I wish I was an Agent! Love the Straight Eight Challenge! Great idea! I will be on Team Buick. 😉
I look forward to this car getting a proper paint job and new tires, etc. I know you joke about painting the engine and stuff, but that Fury will look great when finished
Scott, Dean is hilarious. You should do a "Dean centric" or "best of Dean" episode. You and all of the agents, always have such a good time together. Unfortunately, most of my good friends have moved away. The '60 Fury is really coming along nicely. You certainly do some fine metal and bodywork. Love the video as always.
Wow! R monster Mack! This style truck is what I used to drive, work on and paint! Love these old trucks! Start him up! Throw some tags on it and go to work. Later models had a 300 with a 10 speed.
I love the idea of the straight 8 challenge. How about setting up a special Patreon account for each car so the team can afford things like gaskets, belts, hoses, battery, tires, brakes, repairs to radiator and such. Dont just make them run, make them run, drive and stop! And, once they are somewhat roadworthy, have the teams take them on a poker run, scavenger hunt, or something to add a twist to the competition. The losing team would have to serve the winning team BBQ and beer while wearing speedos...
The Fury is really coming together. I wonder how many people, seeing the state of it at the start of the project, thought "Scott's good, but that is beyond even him..."
Looking forward to the straight 8 challenge. I was unsure whether to buy a 51 Packard until I came across the first Packard video. Due to you and Deans influence I’m now ‘the Packard guy’ of Yorkshire England !!
Magnificent metal work, what craftsmanship. I feel culturally enriched after the Mack first start. Dean definitely is a Packard Man. I wait all week for these videos and I am never disappointed. Thank You so much.
Yeah - lots of candidates for "Will It Pop Out?" Wait till you see the amazing work they do on these seized engines. Its some the best rescue work on RUclips. All I'm saying.
Okay. When someone who owns multiple French cars looks at you and asks "Why did you buy this thing?" you know that you are leaning way out over the leading edge of automotive eccentricity! I'm looking forward to the Straight 8 Challenge too! Thank you for yet another great episode!
Love the Fury updates! Excited to see these every weekend! Best to you Scott and the agents, you all make my weekend! PS.....pulling for Dean to own the 59 Chrysler too, he loves it sooooooo much!!
I was having a rough day and was feeling really down. I came home and saw a new coldwarmotors and I realized that my day got a little bit better or some shit like that. Actually it still sucks but I really enjoyed the episode
Scott, this build is turning out to be something to be proud of. Starting from where you did and bringing it to this point already is remarkable. I look forward to the weekly updates. I hope that you get to 50K subscribers soon. Everyone that I have told about your channel thinks it is great. Keep up the good work my friend. 👍👍☮️
Scott, I would say that your agents become more of themselves as time goes on .... And this is not bad! Love to watch you do the sheet metal work on the fury. I think it's going to be a beautiful car when you're done with it....
Pretty sweet! The old R-model Mack just fires right up! Can't kill a Maxidyne 237hp with a 6spd Lo-Ho. The maple leaf dog on the door means, it was made at the Oakville Ont. plant. Keep up the good work!
Scott, thank you for uploading these videos on the 1960 Fury. For some reason I'm enjoying them more than I usually do with other resto-mods. It must be because of the splice porn.
I saw it! Hood is up on the '61 Belvedere! Hope that engine unfreezes. Meanwhile I really dig the idea of a straight 8 challenge! Package vs Buick. Oh yes. Agent Dean rocks as usual. He's been with you since the beginning.
Although Dean is the MAN and cracks me up , that buick been talking to me for a while !! I'm on team Buick. That is if i could get to Canada. Can't wait for the mayhem !! Bring it on! Cheers!!
I pick up so many metalworking tips and tricks from watching your videos. Also can relate, no matter how many times I tell myself "don't touch the damn weld you just finished" I still manage to do exactly that every once and a while.
Hi Scott and agents. Yes, the Straight Eight Challenge! Probably have to pull the heads off both cars first. Get the engines freed up without doing any damage. If you can get gaskets. Sometimes you can reuse them. Copper coat, or paint with hi tack, if you cant find them. Challenge is right, it will be a challenge to get them both to run let alone drive. More dirty S.H.I.T work!! Im already pulling for the Buick, i think its cooler. Hey, i still want to send some stuff, e mail me, if you get time. Building update? Future episode? No time? Probably! Thanks for the show! Deans not drinking beer? Whats the world coming to? Good for him! Its alot of fun, but can be not so fun sometimes too. Gotta have priorites. That Furys just so badass cool! Cant wait to see it done. Wayne
That ALMOST did it for me when you where talk I g about the Hammer!!!!! Pure shear ecstasy!!!!!!!!! You guys are great... Course I've smoked a shit load of ya know!!!!!! " you might be High!" Scott your cute!!!!! The cars looking so good!!!!
237… not a 235 Mack. Drove one back when they were new. Same transmission and all. We would start off in low range, shift through the 5 speed, then bang it into high range. All by about 40 mph. Great trucks!
The Macks are great, definitely want to see the Cruiseliner in action. Some collect records? some buy old Macks. If I had land and one was abandoned I'd snag it. Start it in the mornings on long weekends (straight pipe) before all the dam hungover mowers come out. Brakes? where we're going, we don't need brakes.
It's a lovely sunny Sunday morning here in Australia and I've just found a new video on the Fury. So I've got a nice cuppa tea and I'm sitting back to watch. Thanks Scott and the guys for doing these vids, I really love watching them, it brings back so many good memories of playing with cars when I was younger. I love this idea of a straight eight challenge, it'll be interesting to see what happens, especially if Dean gets let loose. HA HA..
I have really enjoyed this Fury project. I’m really impressed with your mechanical and restorative talent. I am really impressed with your friends, what a true group of good guys!
Hi Scott. Awsome update, tons of S.H.I.T. work!! That old Mack is similar to the one i drove in the 80s. Brought back some memories pulling a tanker trailer full of water for the ponds. Those Macks are tough, long lasting trucks. Fun to drive! The straight eight challenge would be great. Furys gonna be the coolest car on the road! Revved up yooper. Hi Frankers, good girl!
Saw a beauty '60 Plymouth at the opening event of Rock n August at the St Albert Casino last night. This thing was in fabulous condition. I'll wager to say its registered for the show this coming saturday. Looking it over at places that Scott had worked on with his, and the interior....wow.
"Bottomless fountain of acetylene" hahaha, literally had fucken tears over that one... Scott you are one very funny bastard, seriously though man, love your content, hands down one of the best channels on you tube. Thanks a heap for taking the time to upload for us all.👍 Oh, Dean really needs the 59 too man... he just loves it you know?😍🤣🤣🤙🤙
I road in the conventional Mack back in the '80s with my friend Doug who a feed truck Well when people say that a car rides like a truck this truck is the benchmark . the driver has an air seat but on the helpers seat you feel every little crack in the road
Seth Mcfarlane needs to watch y'all's videos. I feel like this is a pseudo Boondocks, or Family Guy, style setup ... for some bodacious and entertaining cartoons. Canadians talking Canadian-ese, smoking mass amounts of cigarettes, banging on metal, driving vintage Honda motorcycles, pulling Chryslers from death, wheeling ole' school F-1 pick em ups, while drinking copious quantities of beer, parallel parking Caravelles between antique Mack trucks, with diamond tuck interiors. Disco Canada. So sweet, aye ? Carry on. As always, love it !
God damnit, Scott! Just when I thought I was over my desire to own any kind of big rig you hit the cultural enrichment center and not only give us a ride in that 600 but the tease of that cabover whith the coolest custom tooled leather door panel ive EVER seen attached to a vehicle. I really appreciate the extended episode of shit work. Especially when you enlist the agents to perform it. That coupled with the really sweet but almost unnecessary splice on that valence was so nicely done. I suspect that you didn't really have to leave the corner on the original panel but i detect the hidden genius in being able to use that to perfectly line up the rest of the splice so it didn't end up crooked. Straight 8 challenge, eh? I like it. So... I went and looked at another 57 Belair yesterday. Somebody converted it from an automatic to a floor shift manual at some point a LONG time ago. The overall metal condition is far superior to my 57 wagon so i'm half considering ditching the wagon in favor of this 4 door sadan since the wagon has some very rotten sections in it. Although she has good bones. (both cars do). The wagon looks MUCH nicer from a distance but when you get close you see what absolute shit the paint work is, so much that the paint peels off in sheets.
Hey there Scott. Loving these Fury video's. Scott you are a alsome bodyman. I can't believe your level of craftsmen ship. I know me and thousands of other people would love to have your gift in shaping metal, bodywork, and painting. Keep up the great work guys. Thanks again for the video's
RF fender on...the Plymouth drama has reached a breathtaking crescendo. Seems to be some 8-challenge momentum for Team Packard but I’m pulling for Team Buick (underdogs.). Perhaps some friendly handicapping is in order. Dean has style and grace but I’m paying attention to Al...he’s good with a torch plus he is schooled up on classic darts...two talents critical to Scott’s network success. In this sign, thou shalt conquer. Cheers from Alabama.
I drove both models of those macks and they pull hard!! The later model cabovers stood taller than all other cabovers. You looked down into on the other trucks in one of those. But nothing makes you feel like trucker royality like driving a fridge down the road.
dean is not a packard man HE IS a stoned man.!!and then waylon with a bad arm he managed the tourch ,hammer and a smoke. you guys do good work and have good fun thanks for sharing !!!:
Yaaaay Scott saves the weekend!😊👍🏻 very cool Mack! Could hAve lots of fun with that! Love watching you do splicing! It's just amazing how it looks like it never had an issue!! Dean's a piece of work! 😄 Thanks for saving my Saturday night! Not a lot going on in northeastern PA.🙄
What is in that cider, & where can I get some? Francine, Fury, & First Aid in this episode of #coldwarmotors. Added bonus: A Classic Mack! You guys sounded like you didn't expect it to start so quickly. Diesels don't die that easily :) That tractor is its own disco - you just need period-correct tunes blasting from an 8-track, a strobe light to go w/that interior, and it's a party! Can't wait to see the video on its roommate - I think I've been Culturally Enhanced! Darn Canadians, lol! There's too much fun going on across the border - makes me wish I'd stayed w/auto body back in high school. But I've always liked turning wrenches, so that was that. Are you sure about that "FINAL SPLICE"? I admit watching you basically MAKE a car in your shop is "like, awesome, man!" You know in the good old days, body manufacturers used to have tags on the car -"Body By Fisher" comes to mind...so, even though you seem like a modest gentleman, Scott(& your bodywork speaks for itself) you might make a tag for the Fury? Alright, coming back to that cider: looking at the effect it has on Dean, I bet if you gave the Packard & the Buick a couple of cups in the gas, those engines wouldn't be seized anymore. Thank you, & Good Night!
Saturday night at the movies......& it's Cold War Motors....Yahoo....now I gotta get me an 1950s dodge put a TV on the hood...great summer 2019......thank you Mr.Scot &Friends..well done. 😎
Looking forward to seeing you guys get those two engines unstuck. I have one engine that is seized and these future videos could be helpful before I tackle mine.

Well, I for one am stoked for the straight eight challenge.
I was gonna say that.
Surely the prettiest car being restored on you tube right now I cannot believe how straight its looking already.

When you're done with the bodywork on this Plymouth you need to write yourself a bill for $50,000 labor.
It's fun to watch someone who fixes the unfixable, and does it right.
"Packard. Ask the man who owns one of the worst ones ever". That's gold, Jerry. Gold.
Lighting the dart with the torch. Legit.

Love the Mack trucks. Worth saving for sure.
You make this stuff look so easy, but I know it takes a lot of skill and patience. The car is really looking great!
Scott i so very much agree you do need to be on both teams. I fully support the idea - it will be fun......

Straight eight challenge is genius. Who wouldn't love to hear those dinosaurs roar back to life, I'm with Dean on team Packard.
"Bottomless fountain of acetylene" hahaha, literally had fucken tears over that one... Scott you are one very funny bastard, seriously though man, love your content, hands down one of the best channels on you tube. Thanks a heap for taking the time to upload for us all.👍 Oh, Dean really needs the 59 too man... he just loves it you know?😍🤣🤣🤙🤙
I hope club monaco appreciates all the work you're doing to up the status of their brand.
I road in the conventional Mack back in the '80s with my friend Doug who a feed truck
Well when people say that a car rides like a truck this truck is the benchmark . the driver has an air seat but on the helpers seat you feel every little crack in the road
That red Caravelle looks too nice to leave rotting.
Back In Black 😅. Great show thanks.
Been following the 60 Fury for a year now she's looking good 2 thumbs up for Scott and the agents 😁
So much time on that valance. Dedication is what I see here Scot. It will be a beauty again.
Nice to have talented friends!
Great job on the Fury, she is looking more beautiful every day
Shoulda grabbed the smokes off that Mack for Classic Darts
Ice ice baby or at least a cold beer for the burn! Loved the screw welding trick. Old Clippers great engines transmissions ran on Whale oil! Type A
This is definately the most interesting series I'm following on youtube. I still want to see something be done to that Nash Ambassador though!
I like your idea Scott on teaming up on the Packard in the Buick better can't wait to see some paint on a 60 Plymouth
Best car show ever. Carry on.
when you finish this car it will no doubt be a labor of love with the hours you have put into it
Love it! Thanks Cold War, looking forward to the straight 8 challenge. Beautiful work.
Heck yeah! Strait 8 challenge. Get that packard unstuck.
Straight Eight Challenge! Yes!
I love this car cant wait to see it finished. The blue and white color is perfect for this car also.
In your life may you be as positive as Dean and as happy as Frankers.
That mack truck is amazing
REALLY GOOD SHIT great video Have a wonderful day
