    Hey everyone, I'm aware the audio is a bit washed out due to trying to remove the background noise from a nearby fish tank; I will keep this in mind for future videos.
    Please bear with the audio and I hope the video is at least helpful. 🙂

      Yeah I sympathise with this audio issue, got similar on my channel on some videos. Never mind, content still good

      I normally have a different set-up, however, due to the size of the product, I filmed in another room and completely forgot about the fishtank being on just behind the camera; unfortunately the water pump was heavily picked up on the mic 🤦‍♂️
      I tried to fix the audio in post and it ended up degrading my vocals in the process. 😫
      I do intend on purchasing a Rode mic at some point though. 😎

    Thanks for the great review! I think I am going to purchase these lights. I have had audio issues before on my channel as well, at the end of the day the content is great and it's a free video!

    You are pretty much the only review of this product, so I appreciate it. On sale right now just got two. I also got two of the 660 Pro's so I should have plenty of light options. Hard to decide between them. Not knowing if I need the additional output of the 660, but wanting a light that I can use without a huge diffuser setup I think these lights will be easier to work with.
    The thorn in my side is wanting the Amaran 100X, so later I am afraid I'll regret not getting the Amaran P60C so I can have all my lights in the same ecosystem.

      I'm really pleased to hear the video helped. 🙂
      You are going to love these lights; they are my favourite setup so far when it comes to price and performance.
      The 660 Pro's are also very decent, but you will find the RGB168's to be more pleasant on people's skin.

      @@ysmproto I like them much better (the 168) due to the great diffusion they offer.
      Very similar to the popular Elgato Key Light but bigger, brighter, and cheaper.
      I use the 660 Pro for a portable product photography light where the harsher light is not a problem, but for studio work the softer light is much better on people.
      Adding a soft box to the 660 can help a lot, but adds greatly to the cost and portability.

      @@ysmproto I agree with Vicious Computers, these are much better due to the diffusion, but it does depend on what your shooting for as there are no additional accessories such as barn doors etc...

      @@MyKeyReviews And too add, the only CON is these things throw nearly a 180 degree pattern, so if your trying to have controlled lighting in a scene these are going to spill over into your other light sources. So for example you want to use RGB or a specific color key light what ever color these are, your entire scene will be filled in that color.
      So to combat this I usually turn up other sight sources to over power the light and have the light just kind of naturally mix.

      As explained in one of the other comments, I filmed in a different room due to the product size and I forgot to turn off the fishtank lol
      My audio is normally fine.

    Does it matter how many mAh my NPF 970 batteries have? Is 6,000 mAh plenty or 10,000 mAh better?

    • @MyKeyReviews
      @MyKeyReviews  3 месяца назад +1

      10,000 mAh will of course give you a longer runtime, so it really depends on your budget and whether you're gonna be using the lights for very long periods of time.
      Alternatively if you do have a nearby outlet, use the power cables instead. :)

    Audio can be fixed, but the music is distracting. I watch these videos to gain information about products, not to enjoy music. It was so distracting that I just gave up and stopped watching.

    The case seems huge compared to the size of the lights. I was hoping these would be more portable.

    • @MyKeyReviews
      @MyKeyReviews  7 месяцев назад

      The lights are side by side and the light stands are underneath; there's not really much they could do when factoring the size and to be honest, it's easy enough to carry around.
