Its not the only gift taught, we believe in the entire bible from Genesis to Revelation. We also believe there is a distinct message that is to be given at this time, The Three Angels message. In order to give this message we have to be students of prophecy.
1 Corinthians 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
This needs to be the bible class in every Adventist high school.
