For reference, the stock exhaust was 89.7 decibels using the same test standard. Please note, the tests were performed on a stock vehicle with the exception of our exhaust system. Just received mine today. One concern, factory exhaust diameter is 3" Switch Fire system splits each 3" inch pipe to dual 2" piping. On paper duel 2" pipe will not flow as good as a single 3" pipe. Switch Fire also introduces additional bends which would also degrade flow. Seem to me the Switch Fire system may be creating a bottle neck compared to the factory stamped x-pipe. Why was 2.25" tube not used for the at least one if not both switch fire tubes? Please explain.

I had this kit put on my TRX but the driver side exhaust pipe doesn't fit inside the sleeve of the main piece and keeps popping off the clamps. It's as if they are the same size rather than being able to correctly slide into the other.

If you are considering these pass on them. I ordered the Borla ATAK in September of 2021 from my Corvette dealer. They did not arrive until a/4/22. It was so long I decided not install these and had found another product available. Borla with not having even made them yet refused to cancel the order. Grudgingly, I had them installed and low and behold it has an issue that generates a sound like you have a fan belt that is loose. So now I have to order a replacement for 3 to 5 months from now while driving what sounds like a souped up '72 Vega. The candle on top of the icing is that Borla will not pay for the require labor to remove their faulty product and install the new set. They do not have good customer service and will not support you their customer.

It was so long I decided not install these and had found another product available. Borla with not having even made them yet refused to cancel the order.
