I think it was NK's cult that practices mind control and sex magick. It's the only thing that makes sense to me because I do believe he loved his wife and kids and was pretty content up until NK started to aggressively pursue him.
If the explosion theory is true, then I think he was specifically targeted because he worked at Annadarko.
My feeling about NK's cult being behind everything has been amplified ove rthe last year or so due to the Vallo/Daybell case and the Franke/Hildebrand case.
None of this makes any of these folks any less guilty. If demons or dark forces are behind everything, they are still guilty because they allowed these dark things in. It's like Chris says, there were all these moments where God was giving him a way out, like when he was invited to the football game. With all these folks, at some point, they should have said, "Hell no, I don't believe in zombies,or evil children, or murder."

Why aren’t the detectives questioning the fact that her cell phone pinged near the Watts home the morning of the murders and the only other time her phone pinged there was when she admitted to being at the Watts home while Shannan was in North Carolina. She erased all her messages between her and Chris. Unbelievable.

She was manipulating him telling him she wanted to have his first son. She should never have been let go or been given witness protection. I am wondering about that plant based drink called Devil's Breath that NK made for him but she didn't drink it. DB is used to treat vomiting and nausea, but in higher doses it can cause hallucinations, psychosis, memory loss, aggression, people on it can be more easily manipulated (we all know how wimpy covert narcissist Chris is, and how manipulative a toxic or malignant narcissist like NK can be) and other side effects.
I also totally disagree with the gal on the panel regarding NK being afraid that he would have killed her. The only thing NKs afraid of is that she may end up being interrogated correctly and her sorry, lying ass will go to jail.

In discovery they found she called her guru in the afternoon on the day of the tragedies and he is the leader of that cult in that particular area. Also there is a lot of material about crystals being found underneath the kids pillows and Chris has also said she delved in dark things, spoke to her dead grandmother through crystals and the moon.

I think that Mrs Cadle was definitely not fair to Shannon’s family. She states that they had no input into the book, so she was not going to give them an advanced copy to read, but on the other hand, she says I wanted them to know the truth. Surely, the details are quite shocking and you would think that she would want to give them a copy regardless, to prepare them for what was about to be revealed in the public sphere. So so,w self preservation there. Of all the commentators, and not just in this video, I think that Melissa Moore makes the most sense. I still don’t fully believe in these letters that he sent, they were just propaganda in my opinion. And he was using religion to try to show hes a changed man. This man still thinks he will be free one day. He is calculated , and has learned to role play all his life. There are so many unanswered questions that he could’ve answered, like how he got Shannon into the truck, how did the girls sit still in the truck for nearly an hour to Cervi, how neighbours didn’t hear them crying and commotion. The statement that he use the pillow to try to kill the girls and then that’s why the autopsy report said death was by smothering. Again, it sounds like he is justifying the statement he made. I don’t believe anything he says in these letters. Demonic possession? Ok…so how did it leave him? Lie. And I do believe that the letters were to reach out to his mistress, who I think showed a lack of remorse and surprise in any of those interviews. Im guessing but she could even be flattered that he got rid of his family for her, who knows?! He did say they have plenty of “firsts” ahead of them, which must have been important to her. The words that NK uses to talk about the victims in the interviews are telling - “those, these, them. and the feigned moment of crying…She got a free pass in those interviews with alot of leading and help, and needs to be interviewed again. Even if she didn’t help in the murders (if!) she may have planted seeds in the psycho’s mind. “If only you didn’t have them…if only I could give you a boy…”

Yes I can remember Chris saying in the interview with the detectives in Jail that NK didn’t want to be second in everything Shanann being pregnant ect … she wanted to have firsts with Chris to have his son was mentioned so in my opinion that was part of the reasoning in Chris’s mind to eliminate his family so he can start fresh with NK , I can also remember that Chris said he had to calm her down as she would go off in a tirade of jealousy over Shanann . He had to talk her down off a cliff so to speak .

I think that would make things worse for Shanann’s family. Even though it’s highly unlikely he’d go free, it would put them through the fear that he could. I don’t think her family should go through more hell just because we want answers. I’d like to see NK be brought to justice if someone came forward with real evidence she was involved.

I am sure the family would rather suffer through the fear knowing justice would be served at the final moment. They are grieving, they can do whatever or not do whatever they want. But it’s rly not up to them at the end of the day, because the act of murdering these people was an act of injustice on society- to society a debt is due. I was wondering what happened with the family the Watts lived with in their basement when they 1st moved to Colorado while their house was being built. Did they have a falling out, I've never seen anything about them?
But I do see CW as being a person much like his own father. Happy to let the wife be in full control, making ALL decisions, and just going with it..... I'm sure he had feelings about maybe WANTING to speak up,but didn't have the courage....so I can understand that part where he mentioned being afraid of screwing up or whatever. RE: Her statement about not having any emotions during his interview - I would imagine he would be on a hell of a lot of psych meds after doing this to his family and from my own experience its extremely hard to show any emotions when on these meds.

IMO Chris put himself over the edge. NK helped light the fire. She was someone that he thought he could be different with but nothing would change for him. As for your question, I have so many thoughts. With no real emphasis on any cause, I believe Chris was a naturally empty, nonchalantly miserable person for a long time. I mean, he literally was googling to check and see if he really knew what love felt like. As a mother I try to imagine SW personality type as a new mom…the true relationship between SW AND CW… no shade to SW but i bet Chris felt like he was somehow not being served in the relationship for a long while before he met NK. As for her influence, if he didn’t meet her I don’t know that he would have ever come across another person with the audacity to plan this all out with him. We know he was helpless in so many ways, i bet NK held his hand and made it all sound so good. She went and got the job at AD as part of their alleged plot. I believe the relationship was much longer than they are admitting, I believe NK really had him in love, but as a vain coward he was not going to let the marriage fail as result of his affair. So, with all the mitigating intrapersonal factors between all the related adults and NK on the side being something like an oasis for CW…. Recipe for disaster. I also believe in the explosion theory, it is my belief allegedly don’t come for me that the twisted lovebirds met by chance at the gym way earlier on, they started plotting on how they could sew it up to make it all look like an accident… and make a profit to boot.
I was thinking thar NK's cult may have been aware of the previous Annadarko explosion and decided to target someone at Annadarko. The cult practices mind control and something called sex Magick. They also are known to practice satanic rituals and dark stuff going all the way back to the founder.
If they had been looking for someone at Annadarko, Chris would have been the perfect target. I think he is clearly a week minded follower, so he would be a perfect target for any kind of mind control. I truly just can't see him planning the whole thing out.
I do also wonder if they may have met at a gym when Shanann's family was living with them and he couldn't work out in the basement. I saw one video where they looked into this, and Chris and NK had memberships at different gyms in different towns. It is still possible. It's also possible they met through some other means.
I think it’s possible they met through Charlotte because she was working at Longmont Ford at the same time CW &SW were there….remember SW made CW leave to go to Anadarko and took a significant pay cut? He started there at 75-80k and after a year or 2 he’d be making I believe 140k. He made 60k at anadarko …. I don’t see why she’d make him leave the job

It's weird, I can imagine my dad killing me when I was a kid. I can't imagine it now, but he has a temper and sometimes would snap and become violent and physically abusive. I can see him not being able to start and taking it too far, or accidently shoving me down the stairs in a rage or something similar.

His renditions of events in smothering CECE, going to bed and Shanann waking up - arguing - does not account for his time where he put CC in the basement and attempted to put her in the fridge. He tells these events very differently, but then he’s jumping around… I believe the basement incident and I think his rendition of Shannon ever falling asleep is false. I think he fears the world or NK ever knowing how ruthless he was to Shannon after she came home and he ambushed. Everything Chris says is a reach out to NK, you can guarantee that. His obsessions are not over with her and he has created a narrative that is more palatable to her than the truth. He doesn’t want her to ever think she would he would’ve could have Done that to NK at a later time. I think she was involved perhaps after the fact or at least with the poisoning of Shannon in order to miscarry, I think she was compromised to Chris for sure, I think he carries his love for her by not telling the truth. It’s like a pact - to him. But I think he was two extra and went too far and he wasn’t a very smart psychopath. He was only an angry psychopath, which makes me think he was more of a dangerous narcissist because narcissistic behavior is petty and self embolden. Idk - just a ramble.

There’s definitely a reason why he’s still protecting her, I often wonder what that reason is. Could be a Freudian slip, or nothing of note, but I do think it’s curious that in one of the police interviews NK says that, “She [Shannan] is the mother of two of his kids.”

I don't believe Shannan went to bed not while she wanted answer's to another person's being in his life, hence, the food tab and his distancing from her. Imo Chris and Nichole would have also not lasted if the girl's we're to be in the picture. Who really would think to be with Nichole, if Shannan was to be done away with as in this case, and someone needed a health head check which we know Nichole had previously had a therapist and was supposedly bipolar mixed with drugs, if so! was is a mixture of craziness waiting to happen, as he stated, he had to talk her off a ledge. Lastly that relationship was very geared to their common interests, but once Chris felt he was listened to he and she may have become to much alike, they may or she may have gotten board with each other, and eventually would have ended up blaming each other as to who did what! in this case in a heated argument. The screaming that had been heard, was possibly not Shannan and Chris if he was supposedly submissive. All in all had the plan been an explosion and worked it would have ended up paying out the debts but would have ended up with an explosive end, anyways. Anyone thinking doing away with a family for any reason, is not the sane answer, of course not! but, the mastermind of those thoughts, need a whole new evaluation, imo.

I'm Sorry if I'm offending the Family but why do they feel that they should profit from the Death of there family.. I could never receive a dime from the murders of my family. The profits should go to a charity in honor of Shanna, Bella, Cc ,and baby Nico. If there is no Charity or Foundation then one should be created by a member of family. I think Chris had reached a point over a period of time where he became resentful of his wife's success and his view of himself as a man. I think when he started losing weight, getting attention from NK, and how Nk interacted with him. This action made him feel more of a man. When you couple these feelings, his narcissistic tendencies, and other unknown feelings that he kept hidden, but where brewing quietly under the surface, but later exploded.

Personally I think NK smothered the little ones whilst CW tge monster killed his wife! They got back up and then we know how the story goes.

Based on the interviews, podcasts and documentaries, it transpires to me that Chris might have a dependent personality and gets easily manipulated by stronger personalities, such as Nicole. The incredibly manipulative tone of her police interrogation says it all to me. There may be an analogy to Charles Manson case who instigated the murders but not killed himself. This is my unprofessional opinion.

No , you’re not the only one and many people see it. She did do a lot of mischievous things , was very manipulative and not very kind to CW . It was seen on many of the videos that she posted. It is very sad & distressing to hear of all the things that happened in this case. I seem to feel bad for CW . I think something is missing in this case that we are all in the dark about. That’s why everyone can’t stop being obsessed with him. I believe he is a good person that got caught up in something evil.
