    Loved this video because it shows how you use it in business world, it's so hard to find videos like that because most as for content creators or creative work. Keep them coming!

    This is super useful, I'm just getting into Obsidian myself so seeing other peoples work flows is super useful! Thanks so much for sharing!

    4:00 Since you have that information in a separate section, you could link to that section directly and use the ![[ ]] link (the exclamation mark is important) and you can get a preview of what you discussed in that meeting right in the "Important project" note. Saves you a bit of time not having to go back and forth.

      Great point! If we're talking about the same thing, I do that when I get to 5:30 😀 It's one of my favorite things about Obsidian!

    Thanks for this! I'm a PM at a new company and trying out Obsidian. I've been using it for a week and it's been valuable for learning my product, my team and my customers! I'm hoping I can get to your level of usage where I'm able to create a product strategy, write epics/user stories, etc. once I obtain enough knowledge in the company.

      I'll probably give some examples in the description and then have my self write down how I want my day to flow or not to flow. Thanks for the inspiration!

    Great explanations! Do you have a video explaining the process of linking related topics, creating a parent-child connection, and section previous setup, etc.? Thank you!

    0:47 I don't really understand why markdown language is easy to transfer to any other application🤔like when I try to transfer it to Word to share to people, Word can't recognize Markdown language...So i have to reedit the whole text once before forward it to someone else. Can you tell me how to share the text in obsidian to others please?😢

    It would be really amazing if you could take some REAL notes and show how you used them for 1. making insight and 2. managing. Of course you'd need to obfuscate the private data, but so many videos show highly simplified examples, I am not convinced at this stage. Especially interested in more business functions and really enjoyed this. Thank you!

    Great! Finally someone talk about how to use it in business.
    Did your team members use obsidian too?
    It would be great also to know how different team members use it.

      I was the only one using it. When I was ready, I'd normally transfer my notes into whatever tools my company used for sharing information.

    I love your pink theme, I think I’d like something similar in lilac. I first went with Cybertron (I think that’s the name) which was a bit over the top for my taste. I am using Primary now and I love all the design elements bar the colour. Perhaps I need to dig up my rusty CSS knowledge and edit it to lilac.

      Ooh! Lilac sounds cute! Yeah I find a lot of the themes to be too much for me. Lately, I've actually just reverted back to the default theme.

    “Standup” 7:07 is comedy?

    • @RachelVMadrigal
      @RachelVMadrigal  2 года назад +3

      Man I wish I could do comedy! Nope, in tech, stand ups are short meetings for team members to provide daily updates on what they've recently finished, currently doing, and anything that's stopping them from getting work done.
