Little does Doug from Oregon know but he has to start his own RUclips channel now so we can follow the Cornet! (cuz really it's our car too )c'mon Doug you can do it!!!
I wanna know if it's going to be somewhere near by! I am a couple hours outside Bend.
Yes, I FULLY agree with you.
Great minds think alike...🤠
That would be neat
Well about 12 hours would but Doug on the best side of Oregon, Eastern Oregon. Hope to see him cruising around in it.
Welcome to Loadshedding. Your South African viewers will all tell you more of what's to come...
Does Hunter have any idea how lucky he is? He gets to watch and learn from two insanely skilled mechanical and fabrication geniuses! Dream job!
I love when people ask me, "have you ever done this before"? No but that does n ot mean I can't do it.
That is why I watch you guys, nothing stops you. There are no mistakes just opportunities to improve.
The rat rod tow truck looking awesome & your dad is smiling that his boys are working together on his tow truck !
Bumper's looking good. Remember, never weld more in the morning than you can grind off in the afternoon!😊
Can't believe I didn't win, having three whole entries out of thousands!! 😂😂 Super excited for the winner and to watch the upcoming road trip. Congrats!
Also, that bumper looks awesome. This is a cool project, especially given the history.
Bumper looks good.👍
Congrats to Doug for winning the car . hope he enjoys it .
Thanks for the great laugh Michelle, you moved like lightning when the fire shot shot up. It's good to hear the rat rod wreaker running.
We love watching you guys, my son wanted me to tell you that the bumper looks like a smiley face. It looks good
That is the happiest bumper I have ever seen! The bumper looks like it it smiling! Well done
That bumper has to be the baddest, coolest one any of you ; Matt, Rory, Robbie or Paul, has ever made. LOVE it
THAT bumper is SICK!!!!!! Y'all got some talent there Paul!! And Michelle, your hair has been Rockin' in the past 1/2 dozen videos. FabRats got it ALLLL going on! Thanks!
My Dad was a millwright who loved to build custom utility trailers. Now I know why he did so much standing and staring at those things when he was welding and building......lol Brings back a lot of memories watching you weld. I used to love the sparks flying when he was using the cutting torch. .......no plasma cutters back then. He would have loved one of those
It's the same thing when constructing a house. I've built custom homes and metal buildings for over a decade-- and you have to build everything in your head and look to the future to make sure there aren't any unforeseen problems that come up: But there always is anyway. lol.. You just have to try to catch them as you're gong along, or you'll be cutting things out and re-doing them more often than you want to admit.
Paul- "Let me grab a level" Comes back with a square...lmao!
Michelle, you have the best reactions to "Minor Fireballs" in the shop. Don't stop please!! Paul, your bumper is what your head dictated to your hands perfectly. Looks G R E A T! Coming right along. . . that Rat Rod Tow Truck is turning out Awesomely.
Congratulations to Doug on his win of the Cornet - this is going to be a video by itself for the delivery of it.
the more I watch your videoes the more I am impressed!! with your fabrication efforts but also with your Family values!!
Great job on the bumper Paul. Loved the backfire and Michelle's reaction to it. She always adds a bit of flair when she's in the shop!!!!!!!!
They dnt read comments anymore
Bumper looks great and it fits Paul's personality. It looks like a big smile. 👍👍
Well done Doug, look forward to seeing the delivery video.
Congratulations Doug from Oregon! Good to hear a Oregonian won the Coronet. Congrats!!!
Congrats to Doug on the Coronet win! That was a fun build to watch! With Sherm's Fab Rats Rod Wecker it amazes me how Paul design's on the fly, his imagination with his fabricating skills are next to none! I really love this build!
Yay for Doug, and congratulations on getting it running!
@11:52 you made a bunch of people named Chad freak out for half a second!! 🤣
Congrats to Doug!! You guys rock!
I could watch Paul weld all day, truly amazing. Congrats Doug from Oregon, burn the tires off that thing!
Bumper really ties the front in, great job guys!
Bumper is sick!
Perfect thumbnail for this video! Shows Michelle is alive and so is the Rat Wrecker!
You guys are the best ever.... I always enjoy the wholesome family values that you show....
It's ALIVE , So wise , Congrat's Doug. Have fun for many years
Congratulations to Doug from Oregon! 🎉. Paul that bumper is bad ass 🤙🏼 love the angles!
Get ya a carb spacer an drill ya a hole in it. An its a benefit as well in ur higher rpm. Thanks for the video y'all an godbless
I like how you painted the ceiling under the storage white for better lighting. Watching back from when the channel started you guys have progressed so far beyond your individual skills, nice work.
Put air in bumper?
Congrats Doug!!! OK, Run the outer points of the Bumper up into the cage around the lights and into the Hoop that's going over the Winch!
Really liking that bumper design. Totally changed the looks of that front end.
HAPPY TO SEE THE TOW TRUCK "🔥FIRE RIGHT UP🔥 " , ENJOYED MICHELLE'S REACTION AND LOVE THE BUMPER . NOW THAT BUMPER TIES IN THE FRONT END AND GIVES IT CLASS . THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO! 👍👍👍
The bumper is as nice as the truck will sound. Rory is practicing daily. I haven’t seen Matt’s roll without help. The saga driving my coffee time. Thanks for working!
You need a custom grill on the front that says FabRats on it. That would be so cool and would beat what Mat would have on his truck. Lol 😆 🤣
Congrats Doug!! That's going to be a sweet ride!!
Nice job getting the front together, an original one-off design. Thanks guys. Congratulations Doug.
Amazing fabrication on the front bumper! You have a great eye for these things.
Awesome job on the bumper and congrats to doug
I just get such a good feeling watching you guys work. There is always a workaround to any problem. Keep your friends and family close. Never be too important to laugh at yourself !! Have some fun in your work. You guys seem to have all that going on. Great job !
Congratulations to Doug.
Paul the bumper looks great and functional. Good job everyone.
Michelle you made me jump when the carburetor burped a little flame lol.
Enjoyed the show and love the square body wrecker build.
Great looking bumper and congrats Doug
"In my brain it looks cool."
Lipstick transfers well for marking parts.
Being able to adjust on the fly and still look cool is where you excel.
Doug from Michigan
Good morning Fab Rats! Great way to start a Sunday.
Big CONGRATS to Doug from Oregon!! 🚗🚗🚗
Hey Paul! It looks like your Dad is smiling back at you guys, with that new bumper on there!! LOL
Guys, the bumper looks really good.. and DOUG, you are a lucky guy... enjoy it to the T.... Michelle, you need to come to the shop more often, there is always something funny when you are around... LOL... with all due respect.
Missed a good moment to throw in "I feel good" after Michelle's scream haha thank you all for sharing. Your series has inspired me to get back out there and create. Appreciate you all!
You nailed it! A Michelle scream and a little James Brown - I Feel Good
Absolutely. It would have fit in perfectly there.
The Rad Rod Wrecker is alive!!! Congratulations!!!
Love these Sunday morning videos
Rat rod and trailmater are the two best wreckers out there. You guys rock. Keep them videos coming...👍🏾👌🏽
I absolutely love the wrecker videos! Thank you for taking us along as you build this awesome machine. You are very good at what you do!
She is smiling, so that means she is winnin 😊. I think Michelle needs to go change herself 🔥!! Congratulations Doug from Oregon 🎉🥳👍🏻
Great job Paul on the bumper! Good to hear it run!!!
You put a smiley face on the front of your truck!!! Awesomesauce!!! :)
Great to see the thought process on the bumper. The wrecker is coming along great
IT'S ALIVE!!!!😃 I made my own front bumper and entire skids for my JLUR Diesel!!! I love doing this kind of work myself!!😁
That bumper is awesome. Great work Paul. That is one of my favorite parts of the build so far.
Sweet bumper and Congrats to Doug in Oregon! Rat rod tow truck is looking mean with the bumper!!
Congratulations to the winner!!!! Sorry guys, I was trying to get you guys down here in Florida, just wasn't in the cards for me! Lol!
I love that the tires still have the factory stickers on the tread areas. It's an extra traction adding method that few traction technicians know about. 😉
“Ratgineering” (as previous stated by Dean Hallal on your Dump Bed vid) at its finest!! OUTSTANDING work to everyone!
Good morning fab rats!
YAY!!! YOU're 1st!
When I nuilt my one of winch bumper, I became more appreciative of the commitment to complete it. It takes time, trials, errors, and refitting.
Paul that bumper looks amazing and I’m so glad you guys got the truck running really coming along great work guys! Great video as always keep up the good work👍🏼🤩💪🏼
Congrats to the Winner in Oregon. Chad did a good job tuning the car if sounds good. Also the Congrats on firing up the old wrecker. Its going to be a beast when Shes done..Great Job Guys. And Video...
I’m building a custom bumper for my van right now, with an integrated receiver, and tow points.
You sure do make this look easy.
Good job.
Well it gets easier the third or fourth time. Remember " We make it nice because we do it twice"
@John Paul and Ben are professionals at what they do, the rest of us it's more like 5 - 10 times
They dnt read comments anymore
@@user-vx4ts8vm1l yes they do still read the comments
@@Gowherejeepsgo I'm just surprised they didn't use C.A.D. on it.
I agree with Hunter- that bumper IS sweet!
I’m liking the way the whole front end is shaping up.
Credit to your skills !! It looks great
Bumper suits the truck 100%
I thought what a great idea having a magnetic jumper box, then realised it was sitting on the wheel 😁😁
Well that looks exciting!
Congrats DOUGH from OREGEON!
That bumper looks sick!! Great job Paul!!
Wonderful progress . I hope the gentleman that won the 65 is a MOPAR guy ! Thanks for sharing .
Bumper looks great Paul! I like how the dog was more scared of Michelle's scream than the engine burping a flame.
Congrats Doug!
Congratulations Doug, enjoy your new to you car.
That bumper is a beauty! It should push a freight train no problem.
I love how it is coming together! That front end looks AMAZING. Keep up the awesome work and congrats to the winner
Congratulations Doug . It's alive 🙌. Bumper look great
I have never been a fan of the square body. But dang, that custom front and especially the bumper are absolutely SICK. Well done! Can’t wait to see this build keep evolving.
That bumper makes the truck look like it has a big under bite. That deserves some big metal tusks! Great job!
Good morning Rats!
I like the front bumper, the truck just came in a vision and the music it ALL SCREEMS MAD MAX
Very enjoyable watching you fabricate bumpers. Beautiful job Paul.
Congratulations to Doug in Oregon! Road trip time!
Looking good y'all ! Congratulations Doug ! Enjoy your sweet ride 👍
Very cool bumper.
Also I am glad the clamps held and didn't drop the winch on Paul's foot.
Michelle's reaction to the backfire was priceless haha. Cant wait to see this thing out on the trails
A minor sacrifice to the fire gods!
Fuel must be burned.
Suggestion for the bumper "wings" put some kind of traction device on them, maybe weld lines, so when you are standing on bumper fixing stuff, you won't slip off.
great job guys. Your workshop looks like one big playground. Must be great to have all those tools AND the knowledge to use them. That wrecker is gonna be great.
Bumper is awesome Paul Also sound great! Congratulations Doug of Oregon!
Always look forward to your videos. Lots of work but its all appreciated. Thank you for all the hard work and as always god bless
No back plate above the wings on the bumper to fill in the space below the headlights? Keep up the great work!
Amazing to watch your artistry at work Paul 🙂 now it is time to pass the wrecker along to Chad to get it properly tuned.... 🙂 Looks like driver side fender needs a little more work 😂😂😂
Where are the parking/ directional lights going to fit. Factory was under lower headlights
The Bumper looks Absolutely Amazing.
Great job and congratulations on the truck starting!!!! Keep your eyes safe!!!
Nice job. My favorite part was when the carb flareup woke up Michelle. It was worth watching the whole video just to see those three seconds of sheer panic. 🤣
I am surprised that Michelle reacted the way she did. After the last few years, I would have thought that she would have been used to unexpected events like that happening in the shop. :-D
Think she acted according 🤔
fire ball to the face = 🤬
