Your reaction is refreshing. I liked how you picked up on the more complex wording she used. Honestly, I'm the opposite of who she is referring to in this song. I don't actively follow her on social media, but have followed her music and reactions to her songs. I would caution you to not put anyone on too high of a pedestal, though, as they will inevitably do something stupid or say something controversial...but I'm reminded of the line where she says something like "I never learned to superstar from a textbook." Perhaps meaning she had to figure things out on her own and made mistakes along the way. I feel for so many younger stars who come into the limelight pretty quickly. Even those who grew up with famous parents and siblings have had problems in their lives, as they are still only human.
I happen to like controversial people. Kanye is one of my Faves. so if Doja is that also im all for it. when i hear people like that, i like to try to see how and why they maybe came to feel how they feel vs immediately shoot them down and bash them over what was said.

The thing I love about this reaction is how open you are to the new her. She’s been getting a lot of backlash lately for talking her shit back to people who’ve been dragging her through the mud for such a long time now and the song speaks for itself. Everyone is painting her out to be the bad guy because not many people see celebrities actually have a voice and an opinion and be consciously aware of how their being perceived but she simply doesn’t give a shit. I also think there’s a difference between supporters and fans and just people who are only there to watch her downfall and she’s been getting criticized for putting trolls in their place. But please don’t give up on her or go along with everything everyone else is saying and get to know the artist for yourself, watch her lives, her concerts and how she preforms and then form an opinion because that’s more than alot of people will actually take the time to do. You just gained yourself a new follower and I’m looking forward to more doja content. If you ask me her new attitude is promotion for her new album and she has every right to stir her career in any direction she wants and true supporters will stand by her even in her darkest times and the fake ones will leave
