Iconic scene, no doubt about it. Almost seemed to sum the show up in the beginning. Epic, mysterious, and an early sign of things to come. The music too is brilliant.
A brilliant scene, remembered from childhood. CSM is still possibly the creepiest villain of all time and the music REALLY sells the conspiracy scenes in early X-Files.
Курильщик! Один из лучших антигероев всех времен! Спасибо Уильяму Б. Дэвису за исполнение роли этого персонажа в лучшем сериале всех времен! CJB - навсегда!
After so long the truth is finally going to be told. With a simple sample of what I call the fountain of youth. "Things of the past are now things of the future".
Cool scene but why would he be walking towards the camera and the open door? wouldnt it makes sense for the door to be behind him when he's walking down the hall? Unless that door at the end was open the entire time .
[SPOILER ALERT IF YOU ARE STILL WATCHING THE SERIES] Maybe that *was* the way he entered - Mulder entered and left by the same door to a similar / same room in the Season 5 opener. The CSM might have been dropping off more than one item so had needed to pass different shelves. Or given the vastness of the storage room, it would be understandable if he didn’t recall exactly which shelf the nasal implants were kept.
This was one of my favorite scenes ever and it is stuck with me more than any other scene from that show for 20 years
The ark of the covenant is 4 rows over.

Marc Snow did an excellent job with the music for the show and the movie

William. B. Davis is a Cool Actor! 🚬☠️
This scene makes you think are there really men who know that much? Hmmmm
The most interesting man in the world
When I first saw this scene as a kid it gave me chills like seeing the warehouse in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark!
This was not based on real events. The truth out there is far beyond this.
No it isn't

Ah, yes, Cancer Man skulking around the Pentagon's basement for nefarious reasons.
This is how'd I'd leave work after working at a top secret/secure facility.

You're a tool
This is NOT the pentagon basement.
Really think about what this man had sacrificed for his country. I feel bad for him.
A much better thing is the outro music of the pilot episode.
This is a man Donald Trump wouldn't cross or Hilary Clinton never mind Joe Biden
Well, he did assassinate John F. Kennedy so, yeah, nobody would dare cross this man.
Top men
Sure want to be the assistant to buddy csm.

It just looked cooler on screen. If he'd turned around and walked back out it would somehow have seemed mundane.

Someone else thought on Indiana Jones ending?
100041
What a waste of taxpayer dollars
Was that a real Pentagon storage ?
No
