Those Hilux Campers are great, gutless as hell but awesome vehicles. Sadly, the Importers have jacked up the prices on these, they are absolutly dreaming. Theres one I looked at for $76000 Canadian. No one in their right mind would pay that for an old, gutless Hilux with a camper body stuck on it.

There’s a fully loaded ‘93 Delica near where I live for $20k and 60k or so original miles. Wish I had the extra cash to buy it!

Really. I’m looking at a 2014 with less than 3k miles for (using current great conversion rate) $11k. Don’t know what ‘fully loaded’ means. Already converted? The one I’m looking at is just the van.

Japan does not sell its awd van overseas. Only for japanese market. Mitsubishi delica a very good example. Huge following but impossible to get.

It's JDM and they have every right to provide their market the best of.. USA does the same

Cool video. There is a real gap in the North American market for vehicles such as these models. Europe and Asian rv consumers have better availability and options. We have the Mercededes metris campervan and other class b vans over 100 k which is not an affordable option for most people. No wonder Van lifers are building their own conversions. Thank you for sharing these cool van options.

Thanks for watching! Yeah I think there’s a market for these smaller style campers but I guess we like everything big in the U.S. 🤣🤣

The Toyota Hiace and Homy look a lot like the lat 80's Toyota 4x4 van.
I wanted to get one very badly until I read the safety report. I forgot the details but it wasn't pretty. Better hope you never are in a frontal collision.
