This version grew on me over the past ten years. The first time I listened to it felt weird, but I think that's because I'm just not crazy about Kevin Devine's voice. The sound itself is really cool; whether I prefer this or the album version just depends on my mood, but the album version is definitely better for lonely late night drives.
