For the light, I would pick out something that you and Lucas both like but at the same time if you get another sparkly light because it makes you happy, do that! There have been a bunch of things that my husband and I compromise on in our house because it’s something he knows I love or vice versa. The lights are super cute on their own but I agree they really don’t go with the room. My grandparents had a colored picture in that fashion and they knew I loved it so much that they left it to me upon passing and I will forever be thankful ❤ That was alot so I'm hanging up lol

Heyyy girly. Answering your decor questions Personally I would keep the size of the rug, if you get a bigger one it’ll be too big for the room and overpower. The wall sconces I would take them down if you’re not too sure about them. The wallpaper will cover the holes anyways😂 I would get 2 lamps for the new (beautiful!!!) nightstands so you both have control of the lamp on your own side. The ceiling one you can always get just a super simple circular shade. I would maybe get another floor lamp if you have room on the opposite side of the room. I always like having lamps vs relying on the ceiling light. The light is less harsh during the evening and before bed time. Helps me wind down. Hope any of that makes sense. Love you and love the new additions to your home🫶🏻

I think the rug in the bedroom is perfect! mine doesn't reach the ends of the nightstands either but it shows and works well in the room. Personally I don't love the sconces by the big new headboard and would probably take them out and do funky lamps on the nightstands.
Love the mural. Have you thought about those side lights that hang real low from tthe celing? I think some sort of double ring wooden light shade for the centre light. My friend who is fancy (her husband is a dentist so they are *comfortable*) They have a deer antler chandelier.... its just a ring of antlers.... its super cool.

Love the wall mural and your fuzzy ottoman! If that were my room I’d remove the wall sconces and get lamps for the night stands. You can update lamps more easily than light fixtures if you ever get bored with them. Alsoooo, I’d get a bigger rug especially if I lived somewhere colder. Nice to have underfoot in the mornings! And for the over head light I would do something clean lined and classic since it’s less likely to change over time. 🤍🤍🤍
Re your sconces, If you buy some gold Rub n Buff, rub it all over the metal, then move them down over your nightstands, it give you more space on your nightstands without lamps. Then find a low profile light for your ceiling with the same colour tone as the sconces, NO to the crystal chandelier, too fussy for this room! Luv what you've done so far!! ❤

omg i have had my old bedframe sitting and taking up room in the corner for almost TWO YEARS for that same reason! i finally just dropped it at the edge of the street and someone else took it within an hour. so i VERY feel you there.
The lamp in the wall...best desition ever...as soon as you get lamps for the end tables.. You will knock them off... over and again...at least just keep the wall mounted ones...get remote controled ones and put those in the drawers...best way to go
LOvE the mural and the picture in the bathroom!! The other items are very nice as well. I1. Get a bigger rug 2. Either move sconces so they fit with the bed, or get rid of them. They don’t really work and they are tiny compared to the bed. I would get lamps for the bedside tables. 3. I would get a simple overhead light. I personally detest overhead lighting, to me it looks cheap. Although, I do like nice overhead lighting fixture in a room if it fits in the space. I1. Get a bigger rug
2. Either move sconces so they fit with the bed, or get rid of them. They don’t really work and they are tiny compared to the bed. I would get lamps for the bedside tables.
3. I would get a simple overhead light. I personally detest overhead lighting, to me it looks cheap. Although, I do like nice overhead lighting fixture in a room if it fits in the space.

LIGHTING: ask Lucas but I suggest not a chandelier so that you have that overhead space and go for a light that refracts the light to the ceiling so that it’s not blaring over you and it keeps the cozy vibes. I like your sconces, but would agree moving them lower to be centered over the night stands would be adorbs. Then you could have little framed art to further style each nightstand. I personally love a good seagrass ceiling lamp for a bedroom, so textured and cozy and goes with the brown vibes 💓

I think you should move the lamps to the side a few inches so that they’re above the end tables. I like that you will have more room on the tables and no cats or boyfriends can knock them on the ground! I agree they should be different. Maybe get one that is slightly more ornate and in brass. They can be one of the more girly pieces. Maybe choose ones that match the wallpaper. I like the wallpaper a lot. I think it’ll tie the room together. As far as the size of the rug, I think a larger one might be too big for the room. I’m not much help there. Brand and model of comforter do you have? It’s gorgeous!!
