- Die Modellschmiede Hämelerwald hat am 30.04.2017 das gemeinsam von Lars Gotzhein und Tom Grigat gebaute Diorama eines fiktiven Feldflugplatzes mit Gotha G.V und Junkers D.I an das Luftfahrtmuseum Hannover-Laatzen übergeben. Vielen Dank an Siegfried Fricke und Harald Steiner für die Annahme und die tolle Betreuung. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass unser Dio ein so schönes neues Zuhause bekommen hat:

I was in Luftfahrtmuseum there and i think i saw your Diorama there
Could be. And, how did it look like in the museum?
I was twice on this museum and both ocasion I have a little chat with Herr Gunther Leonard, the principal of the museum. A real Gentleman.
I knew from the first video I saw of yours that you were an impecaple artist in your field. Your talent is very impresive...congratulations to you, high honor for your work to be in an museum.
Beautiful craftsmanship deserves to be appreciated. Im sure many people will enjoy them.
Your work is wonderful to anyone, and many people will be able to enjoy it with surprises. I would like to see this exhibition by all means.

+xdhonk s das freut mich sehr, dass es dir gefällt. Es ist von Lars Gotzhein - Vorstandsmitglied im VDPM Hannover - beeindruckend vorbildgerecht umgesetzt worden. Ich durfte die Flugzeuge beisteuern...
dan ein grossen respekt an euch beide ich schon kopfschmerzen wen sie die fäden and flugzeugmodellen festbinden und verkleben

Gratulation! Ich finde es großartig, wenn Modelle und Dioramen in Museen ausgestellt werden. Dazu noch die hohe Qualität Eurer Arbeit. Perfekt! :)
Dankeschön - vor allen Dingen, da es eine tolle Gemeinschaftsarbeit war. Ich habe ja lediglich die Flugzeuge erstellt - und Lars Gotzhein hat ein fantastisches Dio daraus gemacht ;-)
Lediglich ist gut! Alles passt prima zusammen. Ich habe leider noch nie eine Gemeinschaftsarbeit gemacht. Das muss schon ein ziemlich großer Reiz sein. :)
Wenn die Chemie stimmt, gibt es eigentlich nichts besseres. Jeder steuert das bei, was ihm am meisten Freude bereitet und gemeinsam erstellt man aus den Vorlieben ein "Herzens-Projekt" ;-) So war es bei uns Beiden. Der Aufwand, den Lars getrieben hat ist dabei weit höher als meiner zu bewerten - aber wir haben daraus ja keinen Wettbewerb gemacht ;-) Er hatte einfach große Freude daran einen Hangar aus einfachsten Mitteln herzustellen und konnte sich bei den Figuren nach Herzenslust austoben.
Leider gibt es meines Wissens keinen Modellbauklub auf "meiner" Seite des Bodensees und daher habe ich auch keinen Kollegen, mit dem ich solch ein Projekt starten könnte. Ich will hier aber auch nicht "verenden", sondern wieder in meine alte Heimat zurück - oder gerne auch noch weiter nördlich. Dort gibt es mehr Modellbauer, mit denen ich etwas gemeinsam machen könnte. Ich hatte letztens in einem G+-Forum die Frage aufgeschnappt, ob jemand ein gutes Modell der Gotha in 1:72 wüsste. Die Roden hätte so schlechte Kritiken bekommen. Wie siehst Du das?
Die G.V in der Größe hat typbedingt das Problem der "aufgeständerten" Motoren - die Vorgänger hatten unter dem Motor den Tank und waren damit direkt mit den unteren Tragflächen verbunden. Die Streben waren schon ein recht arges Gefummel, haben aber alles in Allem gut gepasst. Ich hatte lediglich Probleme mit den Typo- und Kokarden-Decals, da sie mir im Wasserbad teilweise gesplittert waren. Interessanterweise gab es bei der Lozengetarnung keinerlei Problem. Abgesehen von dem Handling der gefühlt "unendlichen Menge" an Tragflächen-Streben, habe ich eigentlich keine schlechte Erinnerung an den Bausatz.
