dragonfucker2000 well I am mentally ill actually so who knows. I’m not bipolar but the type of orgasm that makes me laugh does tend to help me not feel anxious for much longer and I am actually able to fall asleep easily. That’s a huge bonus and I wished it happened more often.
I only recently started to have sex, and both my partner and I were really surprised that I actually start to get really giddy and laugh a lot after sex, with little to no prompting. Also, thank you so much for giving me a word myotonia, I had no idea what was happening to me!
I laugh after I have sex every single time. My ex would always think I was laughing at her, but nope, it was kind of involuntary (I was also just super glad that i had a good time).
So a suprising thing to me was that for some it can take years to figure out how to have an orgasm. For me it took till I was 28 to have my first, and had been married for 8 years. I really thought I was bound to never have one. I started watching your videos and learned I was not alone and not broken for some it just takes time!
I didn't quite realise that was what it was! Post-coital tristesse/distress makes so much sense! Every so often I cry after sex but it's definitely the overwhelming emotion, happiness and intimacy that causes it. It makes it even more emotional and intimate when my boyfriend gets all delicate and tender and asks me if I'm ok, need a break or need to cry it out - he's got such amazing emotional intelligence and I love him so much.
My surprise is how testicles "breathe." Not sure how many others experience this, but when I breathe in and out my testicles correspond to the inhale/exhale. I've shared this novelty (at least to me) with my lovers and it seems to be a new revelation for them as well. Our bodies are full of unique experiences.
Biggest surprise? Orgasms that felt so good that I made sounds similar to a cow giving birth. Just animal, guttural pure pleasure noises that I'm sure my neighbors could hear.
I love the information you cover. Its helped me open and explore many things. From the mental and social stigma to inner issues about my own body. Thank you for loving what you do and making these amazing videos ^_^
My biggest surprise was not feeling disgusting or weird especially after my first time, until that point I could never imagine having sex always thinking it was dirty and disgusting and that I could be asexual, but once I got over that fear I realised how good it felt to be that close to someone and how calm it makes me afterwards
Dr. Doe, I love that you are unafraid to be yourself, even when that means being awkward - especially when that means being awkward. I look forward to staying curious with you every video.
Once, after coming together, I experienced no separation of our bodies while I was still on top of him. It was soooo amazing!!! 😁 It was like that scene at the end of the movie, Altered States, where he seems to be losing his physical form and when he touches and embraces his wifey they recombine and he becomes whole again. ps Interesting movie if you haven't seen it. We're still friends and occasional partners over 35 years later.
I have two. One time was sort of like the spontaneous crying, except it was hysterical laughter. There wasn't even anything particularly funny that happened, I just couldn't stop laughing. And the other was that I came just from someone kissing my ears - all clothes on, no touching really anywhere else (I think his hands were on my shoulders or something). That was super unexpected, to say the least XD
Dr. Doe, In one of your videos, you had mentioned having genuine female ejaculate from a "trusted source" tested to determine once and for all its composition. I think it was either a video completely on female ejaculation or there was some need to mention the question of its makeup. I'm sure that there are women out there who are afraid to push because they don't want to "pee", thus missing what I've observed to be mind-bending orgasms! Have you made any progress on this? Is there currently a video about it on the "back burner" awaiting development? Thanks for being a source of information on otherwise un-discussed subjects. Such education, I'm sure, is helping "the great unwashed" realize that we're all the same...in being different! You MUST be easing the minds of a lot of people! Staying curious!
Way to generate positive comments. I'm still surprised by how much people use sex as a means of manipulation, degradation, and valuation. Thanks Dr. Doe.
I suppose I was kind of surprised that my mind is able to wander during sex. Growing up, and as a teen I always thought it would be a really involved thing, with lots of dirty talk and moaning. But, it turns out that I sometimes get in that headspace where my thoughts are more like, "What do I need to add to the grocery list?", "What should we make for dinner tonight?" "Is so-and-so's birthday this Saturday, or the next?" I doesn't mean I have a bad partner, or the sex isn't good! Just...that's how it actually goes sometimes.
Hey Lindsey ,always very informative. I had to smile or even chuckle when you talked about the fact that the guy lost his vision, kind of adds Creedence to the old adage :if you do that you're going to go blind. Lol
It's so amazing to me how differently we can all react to sex. This is what I love about Dr Doe, how she makes everyone feel comfortable and 'normal' about all our differences. Less insecurity and more informed open minded communication between people. Love it ! :)
What surprised me is sometimes during sex I start shaking especially in my legs or when I’m orgasming. Also sometimes I have to stop because I have trouble breathing, idk what causes it, it usually happens when he is on top, I think maybe I just get too excited😂
I love the fact that you are so open , not only about educating others about sex, but with your own sexual experiences as well, to use as examples, bless you for who you are and what you do! I personally have learned so much from you, and follow all your feeds.
My mom has always been really strict about me learning about stuff like sex. But one day I played one of your videos next to her and now she is a subscriber along with me. And I'm really glad that I found your channel
What suprises me most is sometimes I can't talk after orgasm. I'll just sit silent and my partner gets worried that something is wrong, but it just feels so good that it takes everything from me. Lol after a few minutes I'm able to talk again.
I occasionally have the crying thing happen too, but not out of sadness. It’s always when I’m overcome with emotion and I never know when it’s going to happen. It’s just as much of a surprise to me as to my partner! I’m relieved to know that it’s not just me!!
I am surprised by how many women dont give themselves the credit, time, place, or respect for themselves to make it about them too. Far to often they don't care to 'get off'. Only happy to take care of me. That's sad to me, because I enjoy seeing my (female) partner explore and enjoy to their fullest. Thank you for the great content of reality without filter.
You continue to be the lodestar for both young and old alike. I am an older man, I have found all your videos wonderful and informative. So much to learn and share! Thank you. Keep up the good work. Continue to post as I find it informative and educational. Thanks!
Thank you! I'm a sexuality educator and we often get questions from teens which aren't covered in our curricula, nor in textbooks. I'm happy to have your channel in general and your surprise list in particular as it can be a source for answers to our teens' questions where it's not just me and my co-facilitators making stuff up on the spot!
I think the most surprising thing about an experience for me, was a floating feeling after orgasm. It was done orally and in the midst of orgasm I could literally feel my body floating towards the ceiling. Only happened twice in my life though.
Yes that is a common experiemce buy not everyone has it..lovely...out of body experience.Dnt know your age but women often get more of that with time. Also, after menopause at around 50 estrogen goes down but testorterone remains and then is HIGHER than when young. Soooo,,you may get to experience what it feels like being a teen boy. MORE horney! And you may begin to have vaginal orgasms from stimulation of the g spot, a spot and 2 other spots inside the vagina. The g spot inside is about one to 2inches or so up from the entrance toward the front... there are two other places that have alot of nerves and can trigger an orgasm inside your vagina. For some reason, I did not have those types of orgasms until after menopause, maybe because it WAS triggered by testosterone in me. Everyone is different and it is ALL good!
I’ve been madly in love with a lesbian since the mid-70s… I’ve had 2 wives, 4 children and 2 grandchildren in the meantime. I’m very, very happy with my life. But I still ADORE my lesbian lover. She made me happy in ways nobody else has ever uncovered.
I don't know how to explain it but I feel like I go to a different dimension during orgasm, I don't breathe or feel like I need to, I get tunnel vision, things change colors, I feel like I'm floating. It's awesome!
The most surprising thing for me was when my partner and I laughed together during sex for the first time. The joy and complete openness of the laughing combined with the joy of each other was awesome in the true meaning of the word; awe.
For years I have had the crying reaction after sex. (Not every time though!) I find it's typically because I needed emotional release, and the emotional release was triggered by the physical release. Even though my partner (and previous partners) have known about this, few have really been supportive of me after sex. I've always liked cuddles after sex, but I REALLY need them if I start crying. Thankfully my current partner is incredibly supportive and understanding of that need.
Just watched this presentation again, and thought of the same comment I listed below. This talk would have been so helpful in the 1960s and the 1970s. It would have helped me become a better, more understanding partner. Good work, and thank you, Doctor Doe.
The first time of noticed a sex flush or chest rash was with my wife after we had married. I didn't know what it was and pondered if I may be allergic to something. It was deep red and covered over half of my upper chest. We had sex a lot and I realized that I have a very high sex drive; like all I want to do now is have lots of sex. It's not that i didn't before but I exercised heavily almost everyday and would be too exhausted for actual sex. Before I got married; sex wasn't a necessity and I would even occasionally turn down sexual intimacy for certain moral reasons. Now, I look back at it and wonder why the hell I had to say no to sex but I wouldn't say no to all the other things in my life. I guess; sex is similar to a drug. Once you find out how amazing sex is, you can't get enough and crave it physically, mentally, and spiritually.
The last time I came this early I was 14! Now I can't get it up due to health problems. Surprise! Take care of your bodies and health wonderful people!
Dr. Doe is an amazing person. She She covered many topics which are not covered by many sexologist. I really like the way she explains everything. I belong to India and in India it’s really difficult to find sex education. In India we have very large population but we don’t talk about sex in anyway. Even in colleges and schools we never taught about sex education. This is such an amazing initiative by Dr. Doe. to educate people like me from all around the world. I really respect in the matter of the things she said and do on her channel. People you should know that this beautiful amazing girl is telling us so much about us and our body. We should be grateful to her for providing us so much useful information. For example, I used to think that masturbation and sex are so negative and I never thought it is in positive way. I when I used to masturbate it really came in my mind every time that I am doing something negative and harming my body. Even about so many things that she has made a video upon, I seriously admire Her effort to provideSo much vast information on sex, which is not which is not readily available anywhere. Thank you, Dr for making such an amazing and educational videos I will recommend your channel to each and every friend of mine because in India it’s really difficult to find sex education. Love peace.
I don't know why people think squirting is more likely to be pee than female ejaculate. Male anatomy starts out more like female anatomy in utero, but they don't doubt their ability to ejaculate. It's considered the default for them. It's would be stranger for female anatomy to lack a homologous structure than to have one that is lacking in functionality.
Hey doc! Nice video, as always. I really love your channel. Could you please do a video about orgasm without ejaculation involving people with a penis? Sometimes I feel that I've reached the climax, but no fluids come out, it's very weird
I came back to your channel after not watching it for a while, and I was surprised by how little shame or weird feelings I felt while watching. It was just curiosity. No worrying who might see this in my youtube history (which should be no one) and no worry about if what I was watching was too weird or gross or whatever. It showed me how I have move forward with my relationship with sex, thinking about and learning about it. So thank you Lindsey for helping with that!
The fact that science still does not have a definitive resolution on what female ejaculate is and specifically where it comes from is astounding! We know precisely why our ears are shaped the way they are. We know why all eyes start as blue. We know such amazing things but not this!?
I am in awe of the video's you make and the content. I'm 60 and love the knowledge and the presentations you put together. If I had a daughter I would have asked her to watch everything I have seen thus far. I have 3 sons and I will be sharing. Thanks
Dr. Linsey, I am thoroughly enjoying watching your videos: I wish they had been available when I was young..Cough, cough, 66 at this writing, cough cough. That said, I'm widowed many years, and live alone (yes there is an indoor cat) as well as outdoor cats: I live in the country). I just wanted to say I appreciate you, although I have no desire to do as you have done or as, I guess, most people do today, including my 30 yr old son. That said, confession time, for some reason about 7 months ago at this writing, I began to write again. Stories. Adult stories that entertain myself. Yes, there is sex: I'm an older adult woman, I make no bones about it. Published online: Wattpad, believe it or not. I have many story 'starts' . . . . and they ALL are sexual. I even have fun rereading them. Handwritten in notebooks. I'm slowly typing them into Notepad on my laptop, with photos I've taken of things that interest me. I like those also. Keep up the good work. Stay curious. :) Always, Mitsubachicats
You are such a breath of fresh air when it comes to teaching and sharing sexual information. I love hearing about your experiences too. No other therapist has ever done this in my experience.
I get arroused on how able you are to talk about your own experience, show pictures and open your sex life to thousands of people whilst keeping it informative, relevant and sex education. That's awesome!
It will be great someday to see these surprises be less and less scary as education like yours, Lindsey, gets more and more common and well-distributed. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that you're doing the world a huge and valuable service that is certainly not going unnoticed ♥️ We love you and all you do
I fucking love these videos lmao, I could get asked any kind of sexual questions and I'm over here all like a sexologist when in reality I just watch smart people be smart
Not always but in some cases I find myself thinking "oh god what am I about to watch?" but then the video starts and Dr. Doe's enthusiasm is so endearing and honest that it draws me in. Then lo-and-behold... I learned something new. 😁Thank you for such a great channel!
Crying really surprised me. Only happened to me recently and I felt so embarrassed. I was lucky that my partner was so understanding and allowed me to feel this emotion
As an asexual guy it was surprising for me to discover I have a kink or two on the dom/sub spectrum. My friend described it as an attraction to verbs and not nouns (certain actions/situations disconnected from my partner)- makes sense to me!
The best thing I learned from sex was how different each person can be. Some partners tend to me softer, some more aggressive, and others fluctuate. It's like sex personality. Sexnality!
I find sex somewhat of a kind of personal art form. But instead of painting on a canvas your painting on someone's soul. Connecting in this 4th dimension of pleasure and euphoria unrivaled by any drug on Earth. Sex is fascinating to me not just because it feels amazing but because the female body is gorgeous and interesting. Like a backpack with a speaker you just can't help but say "that's so cool", or "wow that looks awesome" or even "I wish I had one". All things I've learned have been from the same partner, and I so thankful. But you've broadend my Scopes and showed me new horizons. Thank you Ms Lindsey doe, I will now and always stay curious
You definitely deserve an award. My baby brother... hes 16. But of all people to show me it was him. He said dad did a horrible job with the sex talk so he looked elsewhere for information. I'm glad he found this.
That's fascinating! I wonder if that's where the old saying "masturbating will make you go blind" comes from? Very interesting and informative as always Dr. Doe!
This explains a lot.... Although, I am pretty sure some guys would claim 'blindness' to get out of post-coital clean-up! I swear I have learnt more from this channel then I did in High School and my own experiences.... Thanks Dr. Doe!
I surprised myself when I was with my last partner. During our first time getting intimate, during the excitement/plateau phases of arousal, I suddenly burst into tears. (I think it was because of a lot of complex emotions being combined: excitement of being intimate, nerves of the first time being with a cis guy, mild trauma from the partner before him, among others.) My partner had been respectful and stopped and we talked about what had happened after I calmed down. That was the first time I ever experienced such a strong feeling that wasn’t just lust during sex!
Thank you for the great video and content. Sharing your pictures was amazing! My biggest surprise after sex was that when it's great, I laugh and can't stop. Shallow, quick chortles that turned into quite belly laughs.

Ruairí Barrett that’s actually fairly common!
“We bond hard.” Never before heard this expressed so well…
So a suprising thing to me was that for some it can take years to figure out how to have an orgasm.
I'm so grateful there's someone as open and honest as you on this platform. You rock!
Biggest surprise? Orgasms that felt so good that I made sounds similar to a cow giving birth. Just animal, guttural pure pleasure noises that I'm sure my neighbors could hear.
wow
When I come I sound like a demon EVP. 🤣😈
Dr Doe is the best! She provides such a generous gift to everyone with this channel. Thank you.
Dr. Doe is so educational it's amazing!
What I am surprised about after all these years is, They weren't crying because they were so happy because they'd found the greatest lover.
I love the information you cover. Its helped me open and explore many things. From the mental and social stigma to inner issues about my own body. Thank you for loving what you do and making these amazing videos ^_^
"face stuck in a smile" That should be a MAJOR ego boost for your partner. And all the other surprises were met with a positive attitude, BRAVO!!!
My biggest surprise was not feeling disgusting or weird especially after my first time, until that point I could never imagine having sex always thinking it was dirty and disgusting and that I could be asexual, but once I got over that fear I realised how good it felt to be that close to someone and how calm it makes me afterwards
I'm really happy for you that's how it ended up feeling! It's just magical, isn't it?
Dr. Doe,
In one of your videos, you had mentioned having genuine female ejaculate from a "trusted source" tested to determine once and for all its composition.
Lol
So masturbation *can* make you blind ^^ i'll still keep doing it xD
"Quick, take a picture of me so I can study it"....not the pillow talk I'd like to hear, but eh.
She practices what she preaches by staying curious.
She says she's a Gryffindor, but that's a Ravenclaw trait.
Or, she's Hermione Granger.
I'd say that's due to traditional social moralist brainwashing and sex-shaming of women.
You continue to be the lodestar for both young and old alike. I am an older man, I have found all your videos wonderful and informative. So much to learn and share! Thank you. Keep up the good work. Continue to post as I find it informative and educational. Thanks!
I had no Idea orgasm could rupture blood vessels! So cool! Thank you dr doe for continuing to shower us w knowledge :)
Molly Hedström I have previously seen it in people who vomit intensely or in sports where you spend some time upside down or being spun around
I also really like the pictures because of how very happy you look in them. It's really nice of you to let us share in some of that ultimate joy!
When you announced the topic then proceeded saying "back in the 1960s" I was a bit confused for a moment.
At first I thought, Lindsey wasn't alive in the 60s!
Omg I love. I have worked at adult stores for 7 years and I wish more people would watch ur channel, I tell people this things all the time
The last time I came this early I was 14!
“When I do shorty, she cries, she cries!” Hahahahahaaaaaa!
Thanks
wtf i'm so early
email me plz
aadi25497@gmail,com
I lose myself tonight 😂😂 PS love your video
Always,
Mitsubachicats
I'm learning so much my brain is exploding.
so glad for this channel omg im still figuring out wtf my body is and then a video pops up explaining exactly what i’d been wondering
Crying really surprised me. Only happened to me recently and I felt so embarrassed. I was lucky that my partner was so understanding and allowed me to feel this emotion
I love how confident you are to show photos of yourself! You're such a cutie
Hahahha lol that singing 🤣
you surprise me almost every video Dr Doe.
i like that for the first minute you were talking dirty ; ) haha
As an asexual guy it was surprising for me to discover I have a kink or two on the dom/sub spectrum. My friend described it as an attraction to verbs and not nouns (certain actions/situations disconnected from my partner)- makes sense to me!
Her videos ALWAYS make me smile and I learn something. She is super cool lady
Dr. Doe, your videos never cease to help me in multiple factions of my life! Thank you so much for the helpful and reassuring content
Pictures you shared are awesome. Thank you for your quirky awesome way of communicating solid information in an effective entertaining way.
Miss Doe, I cannot explain how much I've learned from your channel!
OKAY William Masters and Virginia Johnson are EXCELLENT examples of how your name plays a role in what you'll do in life
While cuddling
1)after some time kissing
2)after some time girlfriend- do you wanna have sex??me no
3) me "That was amazing" 😅😅
Myotonia up in here, Omg thank you! It just happened to me in 3 or 4 ocations in a row! I was getting so SCARED! 😂😂😂 I tought it was marihuana, lmao
Doe!
Appreciate that you are so open with your own experiences. Thank you.
I love hearing about your personal stories. Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming (no pun intended. Haha!)
Great video! I love the way you are discussing and showing pictures of yourself. Less clinical...ps: you are so fun to watch and learn from.
Whenever I watch your videos I always think that you'd be a dope friend to have in real life. Cheers for the unfiltered education too!
I'd imagine actually having sex would be a sex surprise, lol.
Thank you lindsey
