    Nice information Bharat!!
But one thing I would like to bring in the light that German Mumbai Consulate has almost stopped giving visa to German Taught program. Also, one change I have did noticed in Consulates is that they are demanding now C1 in German during the visa interview. According to some of my friends who went to visa interview at Mumbai Consulate for German Taught programmes, were told to complete C1 from India itself (they were having B2) & visa got rejected stating "SERIOUS DOUBTS OF PURPOSE OF STAY"! Even after completing C1, its really difficult to get a visa.
So my whole point of writing this is that to get Visa with a German taught programmes have become really difficult these days in India.

**Bharat I expect a comment.** Do read this. My RESERVED INDIA Story/ Aap-Beeti.
Bharat mere Bhai. I am a 2012 passout from Mechanical. Prepared for 3 years for Gate. Saw rejection in 7 PSU interviews and reserved getting selected. Finally cracked a PSU and joined there. Came to know about reservation in promotion there too. In 2017 got selected at State Engineering Services as Gazetted Officer in my own state and max salary an officer can get. (5400 grade pay).
After joining State govt services (PWD) have been dealing with brute corruption and SC/ST Act warnings by sub-ordinates not ready to work properly. Allegations are part of our system. This PROMOTION thing is icing on the cake. Now that same Sub-ordinate will become my Boss after 4 years due to this Reservation in Promotion. Its a feeling that I feel decimated. I feel like running away from this country. The only thing that has held me back is my love for parents and thinking about there old age being the only son.
This country doesn't deserve good people. We all should go to better countries and let the So Called Privileged Dominate. Modi or any other political party only want votes. Its a game of arithmetic for them. India can never progress. I cannot imagine raising a family in such environment. U spoke my heart on that.
Kindly give me a suggestion whether i should start learning German and become fluent in 2 years and then come to germany. Now I hate India from the core of my heart. Bullshit is the only word. I have seen system inside out. Will moving out of this country be a good move to end my frustration. I am 29 already and unmarried with 3 year work-Ex. Earning a normal decent salary and within 8 hour reach from parents in my state always. But frustrated to hell..!! Feel like settling abroad.
I am a Jat. Don't need reservation. Mother & father both in govt jobs and my own savings, in case u want to suggest whether i should plan a move to Germany for masters in engineering management/MS.
Sick of India. Bullshit country and policy makers even bigger.
    Tera Bhai.

With all due respect...No Country is immune from Life. There will always be some issue or another, I understand that SC/ST thing in promotions is unacceptable....but trust me........In other Countries ....Your skin pigmentation matters,.. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/sc/st-job-promotion-quota-supreme-court-says-no-need-to-collect-data/articleshow/65960334.cms Good news for SC/ST candidates now they are free from the blame and jynx of being blamed that he got promotion because of caste not by capacity, I know even this news will not satisfy you guys, because grass is always greener on the other side. May be your grandchildren will understand when they will face racial discrimination or worst case, holocaust on indian ethnicity in future germany or any other nation, because you guys chose to come the germany instead of serving your own motherland who gave you the basic needs to stand up to your own feet, so that you earn and serve your own land.
SC/ST quota for promotion was not properly practised in reality. As a matter of fact, many of the SC/ST candidates were failed intentionally in the interviews and there have been incidents when Sc/ST quota candidature for jobs were marked "as no availability of desirable candidates for the post" and then when it was sent to president or governor for review, it was then converted to General Quota and the candidature have been filled many times. Don't blame SC/ST quota for everything, you have give a thought about your own capability, it is just 9% of SC and 9% of ST quota, but why haven't you addressed anything about rest of the 82% competition ??? Isn't that a hypocrisy ? Blame on your ancestors dude!!!, it has been mentioned in the mahabharata also, about how your bad karmas haunt and passes on your own lineage or grand-childrens. If you spoil the balance of the society with the venom of divide, you are definitely prone to suffer when good times change from your side to their side, change is the only permanent thing in life bro.

if your priority is job then you can skip Sweden, considering you are an Indian you are more likely to experience a huge shock there. On the flip side try Canada
