It's because the score is what counts your rank. You could beat the level in half a second and still get D if your score is low

those toppings are different though. they protect you from pizza face instead of giving extra score

Playable Noise was in older versions of the game along with co-op but was cut from the final game. I hope it gets readded in a update.

@@fieds- he was originally developed for co-op. It’s my head canon that peppino hated this so much that they became enemies.

Noise was always meant to be Peppino’s rival, I remember early on seeing discussion on having the noise be the penultimate fight. The co-op Noise came later as since the fella’s really close in size to peppino he was a natural choice. Also at this point in time Gustavo was not fleshed out as a character
