All of the bosses except Fake Peppino and Pizza Head were foreshadowed/introduced in the introduction cutscence. The story is simplistic and doesn't take itself seriously (in a good way), and it's just a thumbnail! Your logic be like: "Oh no! I've seen what a boss fight looks like in the thumbnail! Now I know absolutely EVERYTHING about the boss fights in the game! Now I'll never play this game!" Get out.

i like that fact that instead of "super magical powers that make your character overpowered" scenario,game goes nuts and Peppino gets unimaginably furious at seeing the same bosses he fought before,not giving them any second of rest while beating the living sh*t out of them,even his idle animation changes,showing in how bad situation they are,especially Pepperman bc it is (at the time) THE EASIEST boss in the game moral of the story: never,NEVER try to anger a Italian,especially one who owns a pizzeria

He just does not care, as providing spoilers will get him views regardless because his stuff will *ALWAYS* get recommended to you if there's a game you're looking forward to and the game is like a day or two away from release or literally only released just a few hours ago. I love those kind of final fights where instead of being like "here's the big bad guy that you should be very scared of, queue the evil dramatic music" and instead is more like "This is the moment you have been waiting for, beat the shit outta them" while the most badass song plays in the background
Surprisingly I found myself getting hit more on the first phase until I started stacking enemies. 2nd phase is definitely tough with the pizza face spewing cogs although being used to Cuphead boss fights definitely helped me multitask there.
@@BlueAura At first I was struggling with Pizza Face's random enemies, but I found a trick. When throwing an enemy at Pizza Face, do it as he is summoning enemies from his nose. As a result, his first move after recovering from your attack will always be the charge, so you can parry the charge, grab the enemy summoned from him slamming into the ground, then attack him as he is summoning enemies with his nose. Also, most of the second phase's attacks can be avoided by standing on the opposite end of Pizza Head. To my knowledge the only attacks that will hit you are his gun as it is thrown (not the one you get at the start), Pizza Face's cog, and sometimes the rat.
@@BlueAura I feel ya. The first phase screwed me over so much with the random enemy placements. The only times I had problems in the second phase where when the cogscrew and the gun got combined. But I think we can all agree that the last phase was extremely easy.
I love the fact that *EVERYTHING* in Fake Peppino's arsenal is essentially a twisted version of your playable moveset, including a dark version of the Parry.
Most of them yeah. Differently from the first fight tho fake peppino can't use his mach run on the walls tho. Bc theres none. And not all but most attacks are twisted style, like the head throw.
When fake pep hops up and does a funny pose, and the little yellow stars come out and fly across the room, theyre fale pep's immitation of peppino's poses when he taunts. Even the sound is a warped version of the little beat you hear when taunting as pep.
Pizzaface resummons all of the bosses for a boss rush Peppino: Well look at that. A completely justified OUTLET for all this *UNYIELDING RAGE!* It was at that moment that Peppino achieved his Final Form.

I wish the bosses did their voice samples more often. I feel it'd be immensely funny hearing Noise do his emphatic "wwwah!" before certain attacks, and the reversed/distorted Peppino samples for when Fake Peppino gets hurt would make it a bit creepier.
It's been in the works for over a few years, so it's understandable if it was under the radar. I own it and I'm just loving every minute of it. Hope you got your Speed Gloves on, cause you'll be basically speedrunning for about half the game
The fact that games like this and Hi-Fi Rush are getting so much more action than any overpriced, overhyped, and underdeveloped “AAA” game just warms my heart to no end.
And then in 14:36 pizzaface using every boss, but when peppino think he had to fight all of them, he was pissed off uncontrollably filled with anger and beating the heck out of them!
I don't know why. But I've also beaten the final boss with no damage. That was an absolutely miserable thing to do. But the satisfaction I got after beating it is immeasurable!
I appreciate that you used colored silloettes of the bosses to keep from spoiling them, unlike other people that use the “four bosses and a random pic in the middle” thumbnail that we can agree is one of the most egregious and annoying things to do with a thumbnail.
pizza tower is just such a great game it hits different, the game doesn't try to act all serious all the time, often staying on a rather goofy level, but when it wants to be emotional, it succeeds with flying colours.
Normal final boss boss rush: you don’t going anything special, you fight them with your current setup Pizza tower: you now deal half a row of damage for each hit and also some sick beats
I love how determined Peppino is to save his probably minimum wage job (edit: stop saying he owns it, I KNOW. Even if he owns it, he probably still doesn't get a lot of money out of it, you can even see in the intro that he has debts and loans and that he's broke, just please reply with something original my dude 🙏)

I just now realized something. The first three bosses have something that resembles Peppino. Pepperman has a portrait, the Vigilante has a wanted poster, and the Noise has a mask. I feel that's a good foreshadow to the warped mirror Peppino has to face for the fourth boss.

Pizzahead is honestly my favorite boss, love how goofy he is, and let’s not forget the wacky atmosphere and UNEXPECTANCY 2: my goodness. Pizza Tower is a great game, it was worth the wait.

That was Noisette. Not much about her I know, but she's basically a female Noise, but more chill towards Peppino, and is not a Lil' prick like her male counterpart. My guess is she is the Noise's wife... She has her own Cafe inside the Tower somewhere on the 2nd Floor, too. You'll have to find it first, as it is in a secret place.
My thoughts on the bosses: (Spoilers if you didn't play the game or see the full video.) 0:07 PepperMan: .....That's a pepper? During the fight, he kinda looks more like an apple. His battle is interesting with the pieces of art coming to attack Peppino, and I love how in the seconds half of the fight all of PepperMan's paintings are laughing. Though, I can't tell if they're laughing at Peppino or PepperMan. Maybe both. It's also pretty funny how he shrinks right before you beat him. All in all, a fun fight to watch. 2:41 The Vigilante: The Vigilante has a great design. I love how T.V. doesn't start fighting until Peppino gets a weapon. No honor in defeating an unarmed opponent in its eyes, I guess. The way T.V. slides on the battlefield made me smile too. It's also fun to see the setting of the stage background go from morning to afternoon and the sun's already setting halfway through the fight. My complements to the stage crew. My favorite part was when T.V. and Peppino ended that battle with a duel. An amazing fight. If this is the second fight, then I can't wait to see the rest! 4:59 The Noise: When looking at The Noise's design, it makes me feel like he stepped out of a kids show I would watch back in the day, and that's cool. I like how everything seems to have his face on it too. Really funny how Peppino and T.N. get into a fight, only for the blimp to get closer and closer until it knocked away the floating camera and microphone and Peppino looks at T.N. like he's going to unzip his spine. It also took me until halfway through the fight for me to notice that they're fighting in a bouncy house. It feels like the scene stepped right out of the early morning cartoons, and I'm all for it! I love how the fight ends with the duo getting into a fistfight, The Noise is given a weapon and is about to fire it at Peppino until The Noise's girlfriend comes and takes him away while scolding him. Funniest fight yet. Really reminds me of when I'd get up to watch cartoons in the morning. 7:48 Fake Peppino: The idea of fighting someone who's pretending to be you seems entertaining and disturbing, to say the least. It's funny to see Fake Peppino and Peppino both scream at each other. Another thing I enjoyed was that F.P.'s health looks like Peppino's, only something is dripping out of the hat. Seeing F.P. melting and reforming at different parts of the stage was creepy. I'll be seeing that in my nightmares. Pretty cool how F.P. clones himself to attack Peppino multiple times at once. It's also messed up to see F.P. throw his head toward Peppino as well. At thing point, I think I'll see the entire fight appear in my nightmares. The fight takes place in a run-down version of the Pizza Place Peppino works at, but once the second phase hits, it becomes a lot more disturbing. Uncanny Valley strikes once again. The chase at the end of the fight though, sealed the deal of this being the best fight of the game so far. Seriously though, WHAT was Fake Peppino made of? Do I even WANT to know? 12:19 Pizza Face: So this is the final boss? I was kinda expecting Pizza Face to have pineapples on it. (I say this because Pineapple Pizza is my least favorite kind of pizza. If you like pineapple pizza, that's alright.) This time, I love how Peppino screams out of anger rather than fear. I like how the toppings change throughout the fight. At the halfway point, I was not expecting the reveal that the first form was just a machine. The real Pizza Face feels like he stepped out of a kids cartoon, just like The Noise. Like The Vigilante, he gives Peppino a weapon. He sends multiple versions of one enemy up at once, just like Fake Peppino. I really enjoyed how the sky changed and the battle music is kind of a bop. One of Pizza Face's mistakes was trying to force Peppino to fight all of the previous bosses. The third phase contains all of the previous bosses, and Peppino beats the ever-loving daylight out of all of them under the pouring rain and cackling thunder. I think they broke his sanity. The fight finishes like a final fight in an anime series would, teaching us all a valuable lesson; Never mess with Peppino unless you want to lose a limb, or worse.
Definitely no Wario, but certainly a perfect example why I adore games of similar mechanics. I've been eyeing on Pizza Tower when it was in development via progress Tweets, so I KNEW that it was gonna have 1000% charm in it.
I love that little moment at 15:08 where you breakdance under pepperman's butt stomp and immediately attack him. The motion is so fuckin' smooth, my god.
I respect the vigilante for not fighting u instantly. Instead, he waits for u to get the gun he offers to make the fight fare Edit: I forgot to say how whack it is just to see peppino go apeshit on all the previous bosses (including pizza head) before piledriving pizza head into the dang tower itself

it took me 25 attempts to P rank the final boss cause holy shit the second phase goes crazy
Surprisingly I found myself getting hit more on the first phase until I started stacking enemies. 2nd phase is definitely tough with the pizza face spewing cogs although being used to Cuphead boss fights definitely helped me multitask there.
@@BlueAura At first I was struggling with Pizza Face's random enemies, but I found a trick. When throwing an enemy at Pizza Face, do it as he is summoning enemies from his nose. As a result, his first move after recovering from your attack will always be the charge, so you can parry the charge, grab the enemy summoned from him slamming into the ground, then attack him as he is summoning enemies with his nose. Also, most of the second phase's attacks can be avoided by standing on the opposite end of Pizza Head. To my knowledge the only attacks that will hit you are his gun as it is thrown (not the one you get at the start), Pizza Face's cog, and sometimes the rat.
@@BlueAura I feel ya. The first phase screwed me over so much with the random enemy placements. The only times I had problems in the second phase where when the cogscrew and the gun got combined. But I think we can all agree that the last phase was extremely easy.

I love the fact that *EVERYTHING* in Fake Peppino's arsenal is essentially a twisted version of your playable moveset, including a dark version of the Parry.

Most of them yeah. Differently from the first fight tho fake peppino can't use his mach run on the walls tho. Bc theres none. And not all but most attacks are twisted style, like the head throw.
When fake pep hops up and does a funny pose, and the little yellow stars come out and fly across the room, theyre fale pep's immitation of peppino's poses when he taunts. Even the sound is a warped version of the little beat you hear when taunting as pep.

pizza tower is just such a great game it hits different,
the game doesn't try to act all serious all the time, often staying on a rather goofy level, but when it wants to be emotional, it succeeds with flying colours.

I just now realized something. The first three bosses have something that resembles Peppino. Pepperman has a portrait, the Vigilante has a wanted poster, and the Noise has a mask. I feel that's a good foreshadow to the warped mirror Peppino has to face for the fourth boss.

(Spoilers if you didn't play the game or see the full video.)
0:07 PepperMan: .....That's a pepper? During the fight, he kinda looks more like an apple. His battle is interesting with the pieces of art coming to attack Peppino, and I love how in the seconds half of the fight all of PepperMan's paintings are laughing. Though, I can't tell if they're laughing at Peppino or PepperMan. Maybe both. It's also pretty funny how he shrinks right before you beat him. All in all, a fun fight to watch.
2:41 The Vigilante: The Vigilante has a great design. I love how T.V. doesn't start fighting until Peppino gets a weapon. No honor in defeating an unarmed opponent in its eyes, I guess.
The way T.V. slides on the battlefield made me smile too. It's also fun to see the setting of the stage background go from morning to afternoon and the sun's already setting halfway through the fight. My complements to the stage crew. My favorite part was when T.V. and Peppino ended that battle with a duel. An amazing fight. If this is the second fight, then I can't wait to see the rest!
4:59 The Noise: When looking at The Noise's design, it makes me feel like he stepped out of a kids show I would watch back in the day, and that's cool. I like how everything seems to have his face on it too. Really funny how Peppino and T.N. get into a fight, only for the blimp to get closer and closer until it knocked away the floating camera and microphone and Peppino looks at T.N. like he's going to unzip his spine.
It also took me until halfway through the fight for me to notice that they're fighting in a bouncy house. It feels like the scene stepped right out of the early morning cartoons, and I'm all for it! I love how the fight ends with the duo getting into a fistfight, The Noise is given a weapon and is about to fire it at Peppino until The Noise's girlfriend comes and takes him away while scolding him.
Funniest fight yet. Really reminds me of when I'd get up to watch cartoons in the morning.
7:48 Fake Peppino: The idea of fighting someone who's pretending to be you seems entertaining and disturbing, to say the least. It's funny to see Fake Peppino and Peppino both scream at each other. Another thing I enjoyed was that F.P.'s health looks like Peppino's, only something is dripping out of the hat. Seeing F.P. melting and reforming at different parts of the stage was creepy. I'll be seeing that in my nightmares.
Pretty cool how F.P. clones himself to attack Peppino multiple times at once. It's also messed up to see F.P. throw his head toward Peppino as well. At thing point, I think I'll see the entire fight appear in my nightmares. The fight takes place in a run-down version of the Pizza Place Peppino works at, but once the second phase hits, it becomes a lot more disturbing. Uncanny Valley strikes once again.
The chase at the end of the fight though, sealed the deal of this being the best fight of the game so far. Seriously though, WHAT was Fake Peppino made of? Do I even WANT to know?
12:19 Pizza Face: So this is the final boss? I was kinda expecting Pizza Face to have pineapples on it. (I say this because Pineapple Pizza is my least favorite kind of pizza. If you like pineapple pizza, that's alright.) This time, I love how Peppino screams out of anger rather than fear. I like how the toppings change throughout the fight.
At the halfway point, I was not expecting the reveal that the first form was just a machine. The real Pizza Face feels like he stepped out of a kids cartoon, just like The Noise. Like The Vigilante, he gives Peppino a weapon. He sends multiple versions of one enemy up at once, just like Fake Peppino. I really enjoyed how the sky changed and the battle music is kind of a bop.
One of Pizza Face's mistakes was trying to force Peppino to fight all of the previous bosses. The third phase contains all of the previous bosses, and Peppino beats the ever-loving daylight out of all of them under the pouring rain and cackling thunder. I think they broke his sanity.
The fight finishes like a final fight in an anime series would, teaching us all a valuable lesson; Never mess with Peppino unless you want to lose a limb, or worse.
They broke his sanity so hard that Peppino's rage caused a _fucking eclipse._ That's it, our italian pizza man scarred *THE MOON!!!*

Definitely no Wario, but certainly a perfect example why I adore games of similar mechanics. I've been eyeing on Pizza Tower when it was in development via progress Tweets, so I KNEW that it was gonna have 1000% charm in it.
