  • I think the jazz harmonies improve it! 😎
When I won the Pianist Magazine composing competition with this piece, I needed to rewrite it to be a bit easier to play-
I've just further revised and rewritten it (Feb 2024) so it's really very different to my original jazz arrangement now!
Please contact me via my website if you're interested in buying a pdf of the sheet music: heartofthepian...

I like it! It’s giving the prelude a different, more laid back atmosphere 😎
    Still sorrowful 😌

It works really well. Most of the jazz i play seem to be in flat key signatures, but this sounds lovely. Have you ever considered selling your music through musescore or other sites to reach a wider customer base? :)

      Thanks 🙂
I think my arrangements are very 'niche' so I haven't been motivated to figure out how to sell my sheet music through another website- I'm happy to sell them through private requests for the moment.
But maybe that'll change if/when I can make an album of jazz arrangements... 😎

Cool, I'll pop an email over. I did wonder if you'd ever considered doing a video or two on transposing and arranging from a full/band score for piano?

@@treguard1982 Haha, well I did consider making a video on how I made my complete Rachmaninov 2nd Piano Concerto solo arrangement, but I think these kinds of videos are very time consuming for such a niche audience? 😛
