Thanks for pulling back the curtain on feminism! Coming from an LDS background, I felt a little lost in unfamiliar territory with talk of "Our Lady" and so forth but as one who grew up reading anti-Communist authors like W. Cleon Skousen, I appreciated your delving into the history of feminism. and its socialist roots, along with its seminal books with their tormented authors. It's all making sense now...Holy cow!

Thank you and our Lord for this fantastic book. I asked my husband to read it aloud to me and he did and we, as unchurched people, were stunned, edified, and encouraged by your stance and fearless presentation of the inconvenient (to protestants) facts. For my part, I am wanting to visit our local Catholic church here in Eureka Springs, St. Elizabeth's. I plan on re-reading this book once a month and incorporating the prayers into awakening need for devotions. God bless! Please pray for us to come fully into the fold. Mary is NOT a goddess. She is a woman, the new Eve, the Ark of the Covenant. Thank God for the Mother of our Lord.

Very interesting....I myself struggling to understand why most of non-catholics are so angry with Virgin Mary and especially the so called "born again" who most of them attacking Mary and critizing her which very odd when they claimed they have good relationship to Jesus!

Dr. Gress added to my knowledge. I recommend this book to anyone who doesn't (or does) know the background of feminism. As Dr. Gress noted, Marxists want to reshape humans into perfect workers. Marxism is largely based on the philosophy of tabula rasa - the blank slate. They believe that humans are entirely shaped by environment and training. It's odd to me that the purpose of being a perfect worker has nothing to do with creating anything, it's really aimless. And yet somehow this is supposed to reveal to man what he really is (a worker) and so lead to self-fulfillment and happiness (or so my Communist university professor informed me).
By the way, the Lilith Fair project met disaster at every turn, and ended disastrously, too. As does anything involving the demonic.
If Judeo-Christian is an actual term that Catholics use now because Christianity evolved from Judaism, so to speak, why doesn't she call feminism 'judeo-feminism' and should we now call communism 'judeo-communism' or pornography 'judeo-pornography'?

I seem to hear in the music of masses of several Catholic Churches I’ve attended, something that says women and gays. This pop music that dominates the masses everywhere I go. What are the two publishing companies out mid-west USA that supply most of the hymnals of Catholic Churches? I heard or read they have a good number of gays. So, between the women (most extra Eucharistic ministers are female) and the gays there seems this affinity that is in the tone of the masses. And women tend to defend minorities and gays are minorities, so, I wonder if this would be an observation in her book?
Marriage is a way to a happy life. A serious planned life. Abortion is a horrible sin for one to have to suffer. Catholic Women who can not bring a child into the world because of circumstance deserve forgiveness. Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy. Amen, Alleluia.

Im open to reading the author's books and listening to more interviews, but Im disappointed that when russian history is briefly mentioned, in the context of communism, that no mention of the overarching orthodox christian church history of russia throughout the centuries is given and that the communist era in russia isn't couched as a coup by a small group of fascists. Catholics should be more aware of the orthodox church, and certainly Mary, the Theotokos, is greatly venerated by the orthodox church, in Russia and throughout orthodox churches today.
It's because ruling class women just ain't the same as common women. That's just about always been the case.

Enjoyed this talk but questioned Carrie's comment about the effects of not living in a strong "Judeo-Christian" culture. The term "Judeo-Christian" is a contradiction because it tries to intertwine a group of people who follow Christ with a group who fiercely oppose Him!

"Our Lady" has turned into a whole other religion in the Roman Catholic Church. Paul, John, Peter, James and etc. never mention this "devotion". In fact, every time a believer prays in both the Old and New Testaments, they always pray directly to God the Father. Always.
And it's so ironic that you are talking about goddess worship. That's exactly what you've done.

We pray to the Holy Trinity, the Father who created us, Jesus Christ his Son who redeemed us and the Holy Spirit who lives within us and sanctifies us.
God chose Mary to be Mother of his Son, Mary intercedes for us before the throne of God and is Queen of Angles and Saints.
Apocalypse 12: Mary is chosen by God to battle and crush the head of the serpent (evil) The Angel Gabriel said to Mary in Luke 1: "Hail full of Grace the Lord is with you" That is an Angel of God speaking to Mary, a messenger sent by God who was saying that about Mary, who would understand the workings of the spiritual world better than an Angel of God.

Mary was the tabernacle of Jesus - our Redeemer for 9 months. No other woman will ever get such an honour.
Never limit the power God will work through Mary as through Mary Jesus was brought into the World or limit the power of the Holy Trinity, Mary, the Angels or the Saints in your spiritual life.
God is with us through Mary. She is our spiritual mother always teaching us about Jesus. Ave Maria. . 🙏

I've heard and read about Dr. Gress' books and am curious enough to read them. I'm only put off by the nature of the filth in our culture I am sure to be confronted with in the book. It is depressing.
This is only an observation but this is the second video podcast I've seen (the other is not Matthew Leonard's) in which the side an older woman is on seems blurred compared to the other. I realize this can be a technical camera/pixel issue or inability to sharpen the focus by the one using it. Matthew is in sharp focus while Dr. Gress is blurred. I suspect some women find it a challenge to allow their face to show in focus because it does not fit the standards of beauty imposed on us by our vain culture. I'm there too and I hate that I even feel an urge to make my face appear younger and/or hide my age on screen.
I'm not allowed to say how I know this, but she wasn't trying to hide her age. She just didn't have a very good camera.
It's rare for people to have top quality video equipment at home. Most of us are not RUclipsrs 🙂
And maybe because of her supernatural abilities ,she could sleep and go and visit these men what had intentions of abusing women , and maybe she took the children because the abuse of the man's hand was cruelur

As a non-catholic it surprises me somewhat that you are fighting the goddess worship phenomenon...many non-catholics see veneration of Mary as precisely that....historically the Catholic church replaced the goddess with Mary but Mary is still venerated on a level equal to God Jesus and even includes a plethora of saints set up as substitutes for the various gods...still venerated however
You are confusing the definitions of veneration and worship. Two very different things. To venerate is to greatly honor, esteem, respect. It is not in any way worship. We venerate Mary to honor Jesus, because first, she is His mother, and no one could out love her more than He could. Second, she was the unstained Tabernacle through which Our Lord came to us. She is the most perfect creature (Jesus being God, is not a creature) and we would do well do imitate her attributes. To love her is to honor God. Through her is the most perfect pathway to Jesus. God Himself gave Mary the power to crush the head of satan. You, my friend, underestimate Our Blessed Mother.
@@bethcrawford4896 I have heard this distinction made before but the argument doesn't hold when you compare the definition of worship and veneration...calling Mary a creature is new to me...does it then follow that all humans are creatures or just Mary....an alien concept to me
No. She isn't a goddess. If you do not worship God then you would not understand the difference in our following in the footsteps of the only one who was able to obey God perfectly.
