was just researching into this game the past few days and reading all the reviews i could find. then this shows up. perfect timing, thank you. will wait for the sequel then.
Don't own Space Base (the art in this game is so much better) but this is a fun quick game to bring out when you've got a large group. Easy to teach and table, glad to have it in my collection.
I picked this one up almost a year ago... I've tried it solo and wasn't impressed. It was too quick of a race, trying to stay ahead of the cop car. In solo, that's how you lose. I have half heartedly wanted to try it multiplayer to see if that helps. Based on your review, I'm not sure it will completely fix what I don't like about it. I really wanted to like it!
Space Base is my personal favorite of these types of games. I would like to try this one, but for now, I don’t feel the need to purchase this one. Thanks for the review!
As far as upgrading, do you think it would be possible to house rule and say when you draw cards, you can upgrade up to two, instead of one? Would that change it up for you?
I was interested in this one after see at the DT gave it a 9. Space Base is my 2nd favorite game of all time so I thought this one would also be good. From further reviews from various people however it seems this one is just ok. Won’t go out of my play to try to play this one.
This one fell flat for me. The randomness of the upgrades, and the Loot cards that give you victory points were the two things that stood out most for me. We had one player get 3 Loot cards that just gave him 1 victory point each. Considering that is as much as most Job cards, it makes it easy to get cheap victory points. I prefer Space Base over this.
I like that you have more control of the dice values since you make the pairs.

Yeah I skipped the solo mode on this because it didn't sound very fun. The multiplayer is fun though
The first time I ever slowed down the playback speed lol.
Hey, it's a racing game after all :)
Heard My Farm Shop is the best of the genre so far

I made a houserule that you lose 6 points instead of 3 when you finish behind the cop car otherwise no one went for the movement
This has been sold out for what feels like a year. They clearly misjudged how many people would buy this.

I can't wait to get my hands on this

Ty for the video!
Thanks. Been watching this for a while. I think we will stick with Space Base.
I'm seeing mixed reviews on this game. I'll need to try it first or watch a playthrough.

Space Base is so much better. I wanted to like this game too. The race around the track is so badly implemented. So unbalanced.
Space Base is the most overrated game I’ve ever played. Aside from being a clone of machi koro’s mechanics, the game just isn’t fun.
Ever try Valeria: Card Kingdoms? His second rec. It's got a bit more going on, and the turns can feel a bit bigger.
No one thinks this
