Can we all just think of the fact that it was her that decided the shape, length, and color of her nails? I think that if she had chosen things that were actually to her liking then this wouldn’t be “the awful experience” that she describes it as. Adding to this the nails weren’t even that bad- the fact that she *chose* the properties of what they would look like made them bad.
