I really, really enjoyed your vids and spent whole hour nailed to the chair. I was never good in RTS games (so details evade me in HOMAM). Oh well, but I recalled most of those characters during the timeline. Interesting thing is, all those characters are memorable and likable! Finally I know what was their background. If I compare this universe to WoW (we are talking about how sprawling it is), I don´t have such connection to them like with Might and Magic universe (no wonder, I played from MM6 and I return to the series from time to time). I hope to see more :)

Wow! Spent a considerable amount of time of my life playing mm 6 7 8 9 and heroes 1 2 3 (and Chronicles). Never imagined the lore to be this vast! You sum it up quite well. Thank you for your hard work
nice little series, I was aware of most of the general lore and overall timeline, but this is a far more complete overview (I was not aware of the ironicaly named creators). only things missing would be some of the campaigns and info on the silence And yeah these mix of sci-fi and fantasy like mm and the ewok trilogy, not to forget ultima, do have a special spot in my heart. I just wish ubisoft had had the good faith of not putiing homm6 on uplay and also do a homm3 2 that would use time travel to retckon the reckoning and thus the ultima 9 of mm: the abject homm4

Nah, flat were the artificial ones, which where en route to outskirts of the territories of Ancients to repair planets scorched by Ancients/Creators war (I think!)
so Might & magic VI happens right before Heroes of Might & Magic III, which is then followed by Might & magic VII and Armageddon's blade and then Might & Magic VIII

Ubisoft officially denies all the connection to old series and insists on Ashan being pure fantasy. But some developers of the games itself do make connections to classic Might and Magic universe, such as Might and Magic 10 having a book where an astrologist claims to see a flat planet in space.

When I was a kid I cried a little at the end of World of Xeen. Corak was a good character i had followed for the games.

I think i missed it. When did the Plane turn into a Sphere(as seen in the Reconing)?
Reckoning was in the world of Enroth, which was a plant, hence sphere, I think!
